But if you order food at the bar, you have to eat it there and can't bring it back to the karaoke room. I thought that was kind of weird. I ordered the super nachos, which were really good and definitely enough to share. I also had the fried calamari, which came with onion rings and fried jalapeños. Everything was good. I came here with a group of 4 people on a Sunday night, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Well, LA, you are sleeping on The Venue. I really enjoyed my experience. As you might expect, service was very attentive. But the service staff were genuinely nice guys. Super helpful with recommendations and just generally accommodating. Drinks were great. I had the South Side, which was like a Pisco Sour with cucumber. Very light and refreshing. We also tried their old fashioned's and mojitos. Food was excellent. I had eaten earlier so I only got one of the small plates -- the tofu nuggets. They were so tasty. Loved the sauce. I'm only sad I forgot to ask for a box for the remaining ones I left on my plate. My husband got the truffle mac and liked it a lot, but said it was very rich. Oh and my friends ordered a dessert for my birthday. We had the chocolate lava cake which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Chocolatey heaven! They even put a candle in it and spelled out "Happy Birthday" on the plate. Heads up though, they did charge us for the cake. Some places waive dessert for birthdays, but they did not. Not a big deal, though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a beautiful space. Brace yourself as this will be one of my longer reviews because it's well deserved!! I celebrated my 40th birthday here and this venue made it a night I will never forget. My husband planned the entire surprise, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt celebrated from the moment I walked in. Every greeting was warm. Every interaction felt intentional. They truly made sure I enjoyed my night. Dinner was buffet style and the spread was incredible. We had pork ribs, wings, Brussels sprouts, a veggie tray, fries, mac and cheese, tofu bites, a cheese board, a charred wedge salad, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The standout dessert for me was the iron skillet cookie. It was easily the best pizzookie I have ever had. Soft and warm in the middle with crisp edges and just the right amount of ice cream. I even shared it with my husband. There was also a brownie available for anyone wanting something extra rich. After dinner, we moved into the karaoke room, and this is where the night became unforgettable. The staff helped coordinate a surprise video montage from my family and friends back home in Dallas. Seeing that on the screen in the room surrounded by people I love meant everything to me. They also rolled in my surprise birthday cake during karaoke and made sure it appeared at just the right moment. The team checked in on us throughout the night. They brought in leftover desserts and food, made sure we had what we needed, and allowed us to enjoy the room without interruption. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The karaoke system worked perfectly. This was probably the most complete dining experience I've had in recent memory; no flaws come to mind. I was greeted with smiles and pleasantries from every staff member and the smiles continued throughout the night. The individual shoutout goes to the iron skillet cookie dessert, however. It was by far the best "pizzookie" I've ever tasted. The cookie was baked to perfection (slight crunchy edges with a soft middle). Even with the ice cream scoops, the middle somehow kept its softness and warmth. Kudos to the chef! Food selections are not overwhelming, it's straight simple choices. We ordered almost everything but what stands out on their appetiser are their tuna taco, super nachos, seafood ceviche and root chips. I was a guest to celebrate a birthday. It was Saturday evening at 6:30p. The Venue is not really on Wiltshire (in my opinion) and the parking directly behind the establishment is closed off. I For the parking structure on Mariposa. Signage is placed everywhere for 3 hour parking and max cost $5.99. You do not receive a parking ticket. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A short walk over to The Venue and upon entering you go down steps into a modern abyss. It was not crowded and I was to see it is a beautiful warm inviting space. Nice bar area and ample seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When the hosts arrived we were taken to our karaoke room by Jack. He showed us how to use the their system and YouTube to get karaoke songs. All the shared food was delicious, we had. Crispy calamari , super nachos, chicken wings,garlic Parmesan fries and lobster sesame toast. Drinks and food were served pretty quickly. I had a passion fruit mocktail that was flavorful. We had about 3 hours of fun and food. The wait staff checked on us frequently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The women's bathroom was modern ,spacious and clean. They offered both an electric paper towel dispenser and a hand dryer to dry your hands.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Upon leaving you scan the QR code for parking and you get $5.00 off your parking. Our group went the YouTube route and it worked great for what we needed or wanted to sing. Food-wise, a bit hit or miss. The gochujang wings had a nice spicy kick and crispy texture, but the chicken itself tasted a little too frozen. Mac and cheese was fine, nothing special, although I think it had too many breadcrumbs. The winner for us were the chicken nachos. Calamari was okay and the dipping sauce it came with was really meh. Desserts were surprisingly good though, so end on that note. Overall, the service was great, awesome karaoke setup, decent food. This is my second time for dinner/happy hour at the venue and I love it everytime. Both times I went between 6-7 on a weekday and had the dining room mostly to myself. That's NOT an indication of quality by any means. I feel comfortable saying that most people who go to the venue go for food + Karaoke, and I only went for the food. Speaking of the food....let's talk about it. Discounted cocktails (happy hour!), nachos, gochujang wings, garlic parm fries, shrimp skewers, shishito peppers, chocolate lava cake with ice cream....WE DEVOURED. Everything was delicious. The nachos were cheesy and the chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The wings were a great mix of sweet and spicy...honestly, no complaints on anything. It was so good....I forgot to take pictures I rarely have a happy hour or even a dinner experience where the food is great and the atmosphere is just as iconic. We just had a college graduation party here for my son. We had 32 people and rented out the XL karaoke room. Since we do not live in L.A., we were nervous about planning the party from so far away, but management, especially Yoo, were so helpful and replied to all our emails and phone calls and made suggestions on the food and drinks we had planned to order for our guests. Came here twice with some friends for karaoke night. We reserved the room for 12. A few things to know. They have a parking lot where they will validate as long as you spend at least $30. We you go in, you have to show your ID to get in. Make sure you get there on time because they are really serious about your time, especially if they have a reservation after you. I did get here a little early with my friend and they let us get into the room early! Their service is really great! THey have a door bell you can ring if you need service. The food and drinks are so good! My friend ordered some wings and a tofu dish that looked like tator tots. Holy moly. That tofu app was AMAZZZING! That sauce! Definitely a must order. The one thing i didn't like is that they have limited song choices. There were so many songs we wanted to sing, songs that are super popular, that we couldn't find. The first time I came, you could find anything through youtube. But they changed their system and so you might be a little disappointed by their database. Also another warning. The parking machine to get out ate my friend's credit card. Luckily there was an attendant but she said that happens a lot but because it was the weekend, he had to go back on monday to get his card back. When he went back, he found out there were a lot of other credit cards waiting to be picked up. I think it's weird that they know the machine is eating cards but they aren't doing anything about it. read more

This is the perfect venue for any party. Big, medium or small. We got the back room that fits 40 to celebrate a friend's birthday. It fit us all perfectly. There was just enough seats since not everyone sat down. I didn't catch the names of the folks who assisted our party, but everyone did a perfect job. They were all so patient specially with the folks who were drinking more than everyone else. No orders were messed up and every drink order got fulfilled exactly as they were ordered. Our corner ordered the most food. And boy did we not disappoint. My favorites were the wings and nachos. Drinks wise, the Seana was the big winner of the night. We probably got like 10 of those. My cousins and I were waiting to have dinner in K-Town and we happened to find that The Venue was opened on thanksgiving!! We sat in for an hour and a half and had a blast. The space is so modern and classy. I loved the dim lighting and the seating. It felt more like a lounge and bar, honestly. But, they did serve delicious food! Because we were waiting to eat dinner, we figured we should order a few appetizers to share and pair with our cocktails. The crispy calamari was delicious! I loved the breading and it was in fact crispy. They also had fried onions and jalepenos in the mix. I feel like the onion served as a filler to make the dish look fuller though. We also ordered their brussel sprouts, which were very yummy! Garlic fries were pretty standard but delish. Their drinks are worth every cent and sip. This was my first time doing karaoke ever! So I wanted my first time to be around friends and in a private setting. I chose the venue because it had pretty good reviews on tik tok from my skinfolk community because not all places in Ktown are friendly to us so I wanted to do my research. I checked it out online and proceeded to make a reservation. I booked about 4 weeks in advance because I know in the summer it can get busy. You get to select what type of room you want and it's a 2hr minimum room usage. For the amount of people we had (6) we chose a smaller room of $40 an hour plus a $200 drink minimum. Depending on the style of room and how many guest, that can dictate how much you pay an hour and how high your drink minimum will be. They also add tax and gratuity at the end so we paid a deposit of $105 and the remainder we pay at the end of our visit. The deposit gets subtracted from your total bill. This venue had two options of original K-pop songs or you can use YouTube where there was a plethora of songs to choose from! Just about any song you wanted. I specifically enjoyed this because a person who doesn't know Korean, I had a chance to pick my preferred songs and that definitely enhanced the experience for me! When you arrive, you check in, you are escorted downstairs and into your room where the hostess explains the set up and how to order your drinks. Our room was clean and spacious and we had ice buckets and glasses waiting on the table. We ordered our drinks and food and started the experience. On your last 30 mins, someone comes to ask if you want to close your tab and end your time or extend your time. We only initially wanted 2 hours (10-12am) and we had so much fun we stayed until closing at 2am! I had a blast, my friends enjoyed themselves and the staff were amazing, im definitely coming back! read more
