The have done some upgrades to this location. last i was here they did not have the sliding glass doors that connect the patio to the bar. so that was neat. parking is still the same, but there is plenty. its a popular spot on a Sunday! plenty of TV for Sunday Football. Locals love it! Staff is great!

This place is AMAZING, IF you get Michline as your bartender. What an incredible girl all around! I'm a woman and usually it's hard to find a bartender that makes you feel included and welcome in a bar especially when with my boyfriend but she made me feel like a priority and so welcome. I will come back to this bar a million times as long as she is here! A lot of the time I don't feel safe as a woman going to the bar but if you have Michline as your bartender you're going to feel so safe and comfortable and wanted at the bar. This bar is amazing because of her!

I love this place because it's a bar for a piece of shit like me. The women behind the bar skipped Van Halen and Sammy Hagar songs which I PAID for. I'm a server and a bartender and hate stiffing people but they deserved it. Played Obituary - Chopped in Half out of spite at NYPD next door. I played Tom jones out of spite a few times. Skipped. And they don't know I'm doing it. But still skipping. I miss the og people who worked here. I'll just add any edits on here cause at this point it's funny

Been here a few times and always cool vibes. Location - Prime location on the Downtown Palm Springs area. Venue - Decent size with inside and outside seating. Place is kept up clean an all. Staff - Cool people that work here and friendly. Drinks - Good pours and decent selection. Prices - Great deals and always some kind of deal going on. Overall chill place and will keep coming back.

Favorite day to visit is everyday :)

Best Bar in town hands down and that's thanks to all the staff! From the security guards to the bartenders to the regulars, everyone is so nice and welcoming! Karina is the sweetest human being ever and remembers my order every time! Always a pleasure seeing Samurai at the door as well! Make sure to download TouchTunes app before arriving if you'd like to play some music too

Guinness in a budweiser glass? This is a straight imposter Irish pub.

Paul greeted us himself when we arrived and gave us a realistic idea of the wait, which we really appreciated. It felt less like being processed through a host stand and more like being welcomed in. While we waited, one of the servers came over to see if we wanted to start with drinks. Naturally, we said yes. Once we were seated, everyone at the table had the same reaction to the portions: pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Steak Frites, and my steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it. One friend had the rack of lamb, while another ordered the clams, which came in a generous bowl with toasted bread for soaking up the broth. For the quality and portion sizes, the prices felt pretty reasonable for Palm Springs. Then there were the cocktails. We ordered a round. Then another. At some point, all of us quietly abandoned the idea that we were only having one or two drinks. They were that good. Paul came by later to check on us, and somehow we ended up hearing stories from his Studio 54 days. His sense of humor is sharp, and he has a way of making conversation feel effortless. Dinner basically turned into story time, and none of us wanted him to leave. He even checked in with us again after dinner. We seriously could have listened to him all night. That was what made the evening for me. The food was excellent, the cocktails were good enough to convince us into a few extra rounds, and the room has plenty of personality on its own. Paul's warmth and humor made the whole experience feel personal in a way you don't come across very often. My friend may have been the one campaigning to come here, but by the end of dinner, he had successfully converted the entire table. We're definitely coming back!

Paul Bar is a fabulous experience, I've been here many times and the food as well as the service are always excellent! One of the many really interesting parts is there is a line to get in that starts well before the place opens up at 4 pm and it's like that most of the night HOWEVER the line moves quickly and once you get inside....OMG, you are transported into a really cool, dimly lit, swanky NY supper club with leather booths, tall bar tables plus there's seating at the bar (with many colorful locals that you'll probably end up making friends with) and the selection of food & drinks are so diverse, everything that my friends and I have ordered have been outstanding! Paul the owner who is very sweet is always there and oversees everything in his own quiet way to make sure everything is running smoothly and that his guests are happy, Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is the place to go for really great food, a fun time and an immersive experience and I promise you'll come back

YES to everything!…read more The food was excellent. We started with the crab cakes, and although they lacked a bit of structural integrity, they were absolutely divine! The aioli they came with was a perfect pairing. The chili was great! Lots of meat in it & I ate it my favorite way, which was loaded onto some buttered up cornbread! My entree was the chicken pot pie, and wow, wow, wow! What a treat. The crust was perfect, and the pot pie is packed with chicken, veggies, and that delicious signature pot pie creaminess! We were lucky enough to meet the new owners who have committed to maintaining the traditions of the original community stronghold that has been "Billy Reed's". There were lots of conversations around us about the new owners and how these people have been coming here for decades; and I completely understand why. This is comfort food excellence! The service? Incredible. We were served by Jackie. She was an absolute delight. From recommendations to just being downright pleasant and providing excellent service, she was perfect 10/10! Also Sunday brunch can never go wrong. Right in the heart of town along the main strip of downtown. Perfect for people watching while dining on the patio. Be advised, it does get hot but they do have both the main covered patio and street covered patio. Both with mister working the whole time. If you prefer ac, they have indoor dining as well. We like to enjoy the sun and people watching which patio is alway a good option for us. Of course we make friends with the waiter as they alway take care of us. Everyone here from the staff, waiter and waitress, and the owners are all very sweet and friendly. Menu is alway great. You have both the breakfast and brunch menu. We tend to come for them mainly but have never tried dinner here. Of course the bubbly is always a good start. A bottle with three juice options and fresh fruit for adornment. Strawberries and blueberries for the bougie bubbly effect. And for the price, it's worth it. Food wise, we went with the chicken sandwich with salad and the burger with fruit. A side of fries is definitely a must even if it comes with it. Portion for the sandwich was massive. Nice thick piece of grilled and marinaded chicken breast filled with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and avocados on toasted bread. It's massive even when they sliced it in halves. And the burger, two nice patties with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion and bacon. A classic and it was delicious. I'm not a burger person but every now and then a bite is worth it. The food has alway been excellent. Crowd is alway nice and bubbly. It's cute chit chatting with the other guest nearby. Also we found out that they close for about two months in July and August as that's their holiday time. Glad we made it before it happened. It's a nice place for brunch as it's alway our go to whenever we can't figure out something.

The lady at the door told us inside would probably be loud because there were two bigger tables in there. It was hot outside, so we decided to sit inside anyway. We almost immediately regretted that and wished we'd sat outside. This place is not made for being busy on the inside. It's just too loud. But, cute in there. Our server, who we later learned was the bartender and not a usual server, took our drink orders. A few of us ordered the Hugo spritz, one gal got a beer, and a few other cocktails were ordered. We got our drinks and they were enjoyable. The problem began when we were ordering food. One girl in our group is Celiac and literally can not eat gluten. She ordered the salmon and asked to be sure the potato salad was gluten free. If things are fried or prepared in the same place as gluten objects, she is incredibly ill for weeks afterwards. She has to be super careful. His response was, "I think so." She told him she was celiac and had a true gluten allergy, and she needed him to be sure. Meanwhile, the menu boasts about how they proudly serve gluten free options right on the bottom. He then said, "yeah, I'm pretty sure it is." He genuinely did not seem concerned. She ended up ordering it but felt uncomfortable about whether or not it was really safe for her. Another girl at the end of the table asked him to please double check, as it was really a serious allergy. He said, "Yeah I am going to ask the chef. I wasn't going to just ignore it and make all you girls mad." He had the snarkiest tone when he said it, and it was incredibly, incredibly rude. That right there gave us a bad taste in our mouths. He came back out and said he checked with the chef, and it was indeed gluten free. Food came out and all tasted good. But when a restaurant prides itself on gluten free options, and then makes it so hard to order, it's not a good look. We wouldn't be back.

You would Think that the place would be packed as it's a sports bar and right in the middle of town. Well, it wasn't. They had the game on which was the reason we were coming to. First off, even though it wasn't that busy, they only had one bartender working the place. Bartender and server all in one. He was busy but sweet the whole time. Getting a drink did take a little while as he was trying to maneuver everyone's order. Good thing, the games was on all the television. It did pick up here and there but give or take about 10 people were in the bar. Surprise as it's downtown Palm Springs but wasn't busy. We had 2 pitchers of beer thinking it would probably be a little cheaper than getting a couple of bottles. Well, when the bill came, it was about 80.00 for the bill before tip. A little taken off with it but I guess it is what it is. Honestly didn't think it would be at least 40.00 for a pitcher but damn. Anyways, pricey for the drinks. The place wasn't that busy which we were surprised. And there was only one bartender the whole time we were there for the game. I'm sure it gets busy but honestly I think it's more of a tourist place versus the locals. As it is right in the heart of downtown. The locals know where to go instead.
