This restaurant has a really cute vibe like a little villa. The service was good they are all very attentive. The food was pretty good I have a very small appetite so it served a lot and the flavor of the meat was good.

Tried BCG for the first time. The restaurant is very big with several different seating areas., including the large full bar. Made a reservation for the two of us which wasn't necessary on a Wednesday, but definitely needed on a busy night. We had the Coyote chicken Salad and Seafood Enchiladas. Both were excellent with large portions of fresh tasting ingredients. Service was fast and friendly. The chips and salsa were above average. The only downside I found was that all the beer was in bottles. Thought that a full bar should have tap beer. Parking can be an issue in that part of Palm Springs so add a couple of minutes to give yourself time to find a spot. Dinner with three beers was around $70. Would definitely return. Sorry about the pics, They have blue Xmas lights throughout the restaurant.

We had a great night at Blue Coyote Grill. Our friends made reservations for 7 around 7 PM, and we were seated outside. It wasn't too cold, but you could definitely feel a light January breeze nothing uncomfortable but bring a jacket. We were greeted by a very talented guitarist, who really set the vibe for the evening and even sang happy birthday to our friend three times, which made the night extra special. They gave our friend free ice cream which was very nice. We ordered the margarita pitcher ($60), and it was incredibly strong. If you're looking to get your money's worth, it's definitely worth ordering. We also got the molcajete, which we usually order at Mexican restaurants. Flavor-wise, it was tasty, but it was honestly the smallest molcajete we've ever received. For $27, we expected a bit more in the bowl. Service was great everyone was kind and attentive. We also appreciated that they allow dogs on the patio, there's a good amount of parking, and the meal came with complimentary chips, which is always a plus. Overall, a fun spot with good energy, strong drinks, and friendly service.

Once again...The atmosphere was vibrant as usual. The wild coyote Margarita was EXCELLENT as usual...... The food is ALWAYS great!!!

    Churro dessert

My wife and I walked into the restaurant and immediately chowed down on the chips and salsa. Salsa tasted authentic and fresh. We ordered a blue coyote margarita with salted rim and that was also good. It was not watered down like other places and reasonably priced. For appetizers ordered a side of guac and queso fundido. Fundido had a nice cheesy and tomatillo taste that made for some great tacos with the flour tortillas they brought alongside. For the main dish my wife and I shared a molcajete. We weren't sure if it would be enough for the both of us but it sure was!Chunks of tender asada, chicken, and shrimp were drenched in a spicy smoky sauce. Strips of peppers and onions and a chile toreado on top were perfect also. Made more tacos with that and slapped some left over queso fundido on that bad boy. Perfection. Finished it off with the churro dessert because my wife loves churros. Food was delicious but what made me come here to write the review was the customer service. Our waiter Carlos took care of us real well. Even though he had many tables to take care of, he was very attentive and checked in on us. Never felt like we were neglected, drinks always refilled..it was great. If we're ever back in Palm Springs area, we will stop by Blue Coyote and hopefully Carlos is our waiter! (Pictures are dark because we sat outside under the string lights)

The food was excellent! My first time here and surely not my last. I had the ahi bowl and that was the best ahi bowl I've had! We also had margaritas and they were delis and deadly! Strong but so good!

Blue Coyote has always been amazing. I am addicted to their chips and salsa and their Wild Coyote Margaritas are the best in town! They have a very short but great happy hour that is priced right for the quality of the food and portion size. The staff has always been fun and attentive and will always make sure you have water and a margarita in front of you definitely give it a try for happy hour, and you will leave happy. :) Also note they have a huge outdoor seating area for those perfect sunny days out here in the desert!

First time here! The tacos were very fresh, savory, chewy, flavorful, and delicious. Also, the chips were super crunchy, crispy, salty, and the salsa was perfectly served with a sweet and refreshing strawberry lemonade, good service, nice accordion music, and I had an excellent experience today. Louis was our server, and he was a very attentive guy. He came to check on us many times. He was so friendly.

Happy hour ??? Specials on Tuesday?

We do have a happy hour! Our happy hour is 3:30 - 5:30 Sunday - Thursday.

    Are reservations required?

Hi! Thank you for asking. Reservations are not required.

Are you dog friendly for outdoor dining?

Absolutely! We are dog friendly....Please come in!

I was dining at your restaurant last evening sitting by the front entrance. A group of 10 to 15 youth people came in feeling good and 1/2 of them were not wearing masks and they were allowed to walk through the restaurant. Why is this allowed?

That was NOT a nice answer to a question.

Do you guys still have the little sweet corn mush/cake you served on the side with your entrees?

You bet!! Please ask for it when you make your order!

Do they have Gluten-Free Options food and drinks? Titos Vodka?

Hello Jake! Sorry for the delayed response! We do have Titos and gluten-free options. Please ask for a manager when you come in and they will be happy to help you!… Read more

This place hit the bar on all three of those pillars. We sat outside and a few of us ordered the margarita flight, while a few others ordered other cocktails. They were all really enjoyable and well balanced. We asked our server for his favorite thing on the menu and he suggested the steak plate and one other dish. The next person who came to our table also suggested the steak plate and ahi taco. 3-4 of us ended up ordering the steak plate, one ordered the quesabirria tacos. The elotes street corn was absolutely delicious. The sour cream on top just really sent it over the edge, the best I've ever had. Their flan was also exceptional. I'm not typically a fan of flan, but this one was really good. Top notch! Everyone absolutely loved their dish. The steak plate was absolutely wonderful. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled onion was so good. The guacamole was flavorful, and it all went really nicely with the tortillas and other accoutrements. We had a great time and enjoyed amazing food. Highly, highly recommend. Pretty much all the girls agreed at the end of the weekend that this had been our favorite spot.

This review is more about the maintenance and conditions of the parklet seating area. My friends and I visited on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. It wasn't peak season and it was about 100°F outside. Since we didn't have reservations, we were told we could only be seated in the outdoor parklet area. Another group of six arrived shortly after us and was visibly upset about the same situation and ultimately left, but we decided to stay and give it a try. Unfortunately, the parklet itself felt unsafe. My heel got stuck between the floorboards and several sections of the flooring were lifted. I nearly fell but caught myself by landing on an empty chair. The staff were very kind and helped me remove my shoe, which I appreciated. However, the outdoor setup made the dining experience very uncomfortable. We were constantly dealing with flies around our food, and no fans or coverings were provided to help with the heat or food exposure. Additionally there was a piece of hair on my friend's nachos. It was difficult to enjoy the meal in those conditions. As for the food, we ordered nachos and a carne asada plate with drinks, and while the food itself was good, the environment made it hard to enjoy it fully. The bill came out to nearly $150, and given the conditions, it felt disappointing. I would strongly recommend management: * Address the unsafe and uneven parklet flooring * Improve outdoor dining comfort (fans, pest control, etc.) * Allow indoor seating when space is available, especially in extreme heat The staff and food were great, but the dining environment needs attention to match the price point and quality of the kitchen.

The team at Cowboy Cantina reached out and invited us back, which we truly were shocked & greatly appreciated it. We decided to give it another shot, and I'm really glad we did because this time around was a completely different experience. From the moment we walked in, the service and atmosphere felt totally turned around. We were greeted warmly, checked on regularly, and actually felt like valued guests. This is the kind of effort that shows a restaurant really cares about improving and making things right! Our server, Isreal, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive without hovering, he was friendly, funny, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Drinks were refilled quickly, everything came out in great timing, and he made sure we had everything we needed the whole night. It honestly felt like the level of service you hope for when you go out to eat. The food itself was great and came out fresh and flavorful. You could tell there was real attention being paid this time, and it made a big difference in how enjoyable the meal was. One of the highlights of the night was the tableside dessert prepared by Jared. Not only was it delicious, but it was also entertaining to watch him put it together right there at the table. It added a fun, memorable touch to the meal and was the perfect way to end the night. This experience showed exactly how restaurants should handle things with their customers. Instead of ignoring feedback, they took it seriously, made the effort to improve, and invited us back to make it right. That kind of accountability and dedication to customer satisfaction goes a long way! We left genuinely impressed and happy we gave it another chance. If this visit is any indication of the direction they're heading, Cowboy Cantina is absolutely on the right track.

We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.
