Enchiladas with shrimp and crab meat!!
    S. Annette L.

I had an absolutely fantastic evening at blue coyote tonight! The shrimp and crab meat enchiladas were delicious. We sat inside. It was comfortable and a nice escape from the heat. Christian was so helpful and patient and allowed my friend and I plenty of time to visit while checking in with us and making sure that we had everything that we needed. I cannot say enough about the flavor of my enchiladas. Every bite was perfect! I can be a bit of a margarita snob, and my blended original margarita was exactly what I wanted for tonight. This is a "locals favorite"!!

Tried BCG for the first time. The restaurant is very big with several different seating areas., including the large full bar. Made a reservation for the two of us which wasn't necessary on a Wednesday, but definitely needed on a busy night. We had the Coyote chicken Salad and Seafood Enchiladas. Both were excellent with large portions of fresh tasting ingredients. Service was fast and friendly. The chips and salsa were above average. The only downside I found was that all the beer was in bottles. Thought that a full bar should have tap beer. Parking can be an issue in that part of Palm Springs so add a couple of minutes to give yourself time to find a spot. Dinner with three beers was around $70. Would definitely return. Sorry about the pics, They have blue Xmas lights throughout the restaurant.

We had a great night at Blue Coyote Grill. Our friends made reservations for 7 around 7 PM, and we were seated outside. It wasn't too cold, but you could definitely feel a light January breeze nothing uncomfortable but bring a jacket. We were greeted by a very talented guitarist, who really set the vibe for the evening and even sang happy birthday to our friend three times, which made the night extra special. They gave our friend free ice cream which was very nice. We ordered the margarita pitcher ($60), and it was incredibly strong. If you're looking to get your money's worth, it's definitely worth ordering. We also got the molcajete, which we usually order at Mexican restaurants. Flavor-wise, it was tasty, but it was honestly the smallest molcajete we've ever received. For $27, we expected a bit more in the bowl. Service was great everyone was kind and attentive. We also appreciated that they allow dogs on the patio, there's a good amount of parking, and the meal came with complimentary chips, which is always a plus. Overall, a fun spot with good energy, strong drinks, and friendly service.

This restaurant has a really cute vibe like a little villa. The service was good they are all very attentive. The food was pretty good I have a very small appetite so it served a lot and the flavor of the meat was good.

The food was excellent! My first time here and surely not my last. I had the ahi bowl and that was the best ahi bowl I've had! We also had margaritas and they were delis and deadly! Strong but so good!

Blue Coyote has always been amazing. I am addicted to their chips and salsa and their Wild Coyote Margaritas are the best in town! They have a very short but great happy hour that is priced right for the quality of the food and portion size. The staff has always been fun and attentive and will always make sure you have water and a margarita in front of you definitely give it a try for happy hour, and you will leave happy. :) Also note they have a huge outdoor seating area for those perfect sunny days out here in the desert!

    Churro dessert

My wife and I walked into the restaurant and immediately chowed down on the chips and salsa. Salsa tasted authentic and fresh. We ordered a blue coyote margarita with salted rim and that was also good. It was not watered down like other places and reasonably priced. For appetizers ordered a side of guac and queso fundido. Fundido had a nice cheesy and tomatillo taste that made for some great tacos with the flour tortillas they brought alongside. For the main dish my wife and I shared a molcajete. We weren't sure if it would be enough for the both of us but it sure was!Chunks of tender asada, chicken, and shrimp were drenched in a spicy smoky sauce. Strips of peppers and onions and a chile toreado on top were perfect also. Made more tacos with that and slapped some left over queso fundido on that bad boy. Perfection. Finished it off with the churro dessert because my wife loves churros. Food was delicious but what made me come here to write the review was the customer service. Our waiter Carlos took care of us real well. Even though he had many tables to take care of, he was very attentive and checked in on us. Never felt like we were neglected, drinks always refilled..it was great. If we're ever back in Palm Springs area, we will stop by Blue Coyote and hopefully Carlos is our waiter! (Pictures are dark because we sat outside under the string lights)

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Springs. Every time we eat there the service is swift and every staff member that sees you, greets you from the familiar hosts to the wait staff to the bussers. The food is delicious and mildly spicy. The rolled tacos are generous and can make a light meal. We had the beef rolled in blue corn tortillas. The fajitas were tender strips of chicken breast and there was plenty left for another meal. My husband's combo with an enchilada and taco was tasty and he (of course!) ate every bite. We like to sit on the front patio so we can watch the passersby, but be sure you request it when you make your reservation.

We stopped here on our way to Arizona to grab food. The customer service was really good. The food was ok it was not as good as we expected Mexican food to be in Palm Springs. It was pricy too.

Hi! Thank you for asking. Reservations are not required.

Are you dog friendly for outdoor dining?

Absolutely! We are dog friendly....Please come in!

I was dining at your restaurant last evening sitting by the front entrance. A group of 10 to 15 youth people came in feeling good and 1/2 of them were not wearing masks and they were allowed to walk through the restaurant. Why is this allowed?

That was NOT a nice answer to a question.

Do you guys still have the little sweet corn mush/cake you served on the side with your entrees?

You bet!! Please ask for it when you make your order!

Do they have Gluten-Free Options food and drinks? Titos Vodka?

Hello Jake! Sorry for the delayed response! We do have Titos and gluten-free options. Please ask for a manager when you come in and they will be happy to help you!…

But we were sat just as soon as we had arrived, and despite it being very hot out at the time, they had a bunch of shaded spots with misting fans. The drinks were fantastic, including mine which was a zero-proof mocktail. We all ordered different chicken dishes, and each one received high praise. I was able to try each of them and I was very happy with my fajitas, but I gotta give the nachos their dues. They were just as good. Id also like to mention that we chose this place as my friend's Bachelor Party closing dinner, and he couldn't have been happier. He was so thrilled with how the weekend had gone, that dining at Clandestino's really was the cherry on top. Thank you for making our dining experience such a pleasant one.

We later realized we ordered multiple taco plates that should have qualified for the special, but she never said a word. The food was even worse. When I finally addressed it, she insisted it was "fajitas," which is honestly ridiculous. To top it off, when my husband asked for a box, the waitress came back after handling cash and used her bare hands, with long acrylic nails,to grab his taco and put it in the container. That is completely unsanitary and unacceptable. Bad service, disgusting food, and poor hygiene. I will not be returning and will be reporting this place to the health department. Avoid this place. Warning Positive reviews are obviously coming from ownership friends.

Service was great. We went here on Tuesday after Memorial Day for lunch. No regrets! I ordered…read moretheir Camarones A La Diabla and my wife ordered their Shrimp Fajitas. I also ordered their House Margarita which was actually delicious and a lot of kick to it. Their complimentary chips and salsa were so good, we decided to order another one for take out. First time ordering extra chips and salsa, ever! The place was nice and cozy. Felt relaxed and not rushed ordering. Our server gave us enough time to decide what to order. Other staffs were friendly as well. Only thing is they should be consistent with the pricing. One of the servers mentioned that the salsa and chips were $3.50; however we were charge $5. Still a good price for the quality and quantity, specially it was freshly made. Will definitely go back here the next time we visit Palm Springs for our next getaway.

If you're strolling through quaint downtown Palm Springs, do yourself a favor and eat at Maracas!…read moreWe loved the cozy Spanish decor, the warm atmosphere, and the option for indoor or outdoor seating, we chose inside and it felt charming and inviting from the moment we walked in. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was SO good. I ordered the combination platter with a crispy steak taco and the cheesiest enchilada imaginable... absolutely delicious. We also tried the open-face enchiladas loaded with avocado and generous portions that did not disappoint. But the real star? The salsa. Fresh, flavorful, addictive with those baskets of warm chips, we could've made a meal out of that alone. Wonderful food, great vibe, and the perfect Palm Springs experience. We will definitely be back!
