At first, I didn't know what to expect when I entered this salon. It took a while to be acknowledged, to be honest. I was assigned to a fabulous stylist, Moji! I came in for a simple shampoo and blowdry style. Moji was amazing! Very talented, sweet, knowledgeable, and she did an excellent job on my hair, as a result! I love this beautiful salon, clean and tidy, with a very laid-back vibe! If you want envious hair, go to Moji! She did a great job, and I'm extremely happy with what she did. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any services from this salon but had a poor experience with their front desk or scheduling. I called Saturday morning looking for an appointment on Sunday knowing it was a very big long shot and even stating multiple times that if it wasn't possible it was ok. My stylist at another salon had called out sick and I was desperately looking for a set of highlight before I went out of town. I was told I would get a text with an update and I said ok. I called at 10:00am and then waited until 12:30pm. Called back and was told "it was still being worked on" and I would receive a text very soon. Called one more time in the afternoon and got no answer. I ended up called tons of salons with various success but just saying no is free and not leaving me waiting all day for a return call/text. I'm happy with the haircut itself -- they did a clean, simple bob from my long hair. But $120 for such a straightforward cut... $120! She just chopped it off easily before doing the styling, and the whole thing only took about 30 minutes. I still can't believe it -- way too pricey for something so simple. read more

I called this morning at 10 am because my usual stylist got sick and cancelled on me. I asked for a balayage and cut and they were able to get me in literally right away and Kathy did a fantastic job. I usually only get my hair done once a year for the lunar new year and last year I dyed my hair blue so there was some residual green in my hair still. Kathy was originally worried that my hair wouldnt take the color because of the green and she didnt want to bleach it more because my ends were damaged and she didnt want to compromise my hair. But we were able to figure it out and get my hair done how I wanted it :). She was so quick and so sweet and reasonably priced. I am glad I was able to get a super last minute appointment. read more

I inquired about costs of services and was referred to a stylist because each stylist has different prices. I spoke with Kathy and told her the services I wanted and the length and thickness of my hair and she said she couldn't tell me the price without seeing me. Upfront pricing is important for the consumer! Everyone understands that time and materials can vary per client and cost more for people with more hair, that doesn't excuse giving a base price for services. read more

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done with Takiri. I was looking around to find a great stylist and I was lucky enough to stumble upon her at the W salon. I was super unsatisfied with my hair color & cut that a pervious stylist did. She left me looking botchy, yellow, and my ends were super fried after bleaching. Takiri was able to cut off all the damaged hair and give me such a cute bob. She eliminated all the leftover orange without damaging my hair further. Then she toned my hair to the color I actually wanted! Yes, a stylist that actually listens to what you want! I was glad to have her as my stylist. Takiri was responsive to my call and even though I was new client to her she was able to fit me in her schedule on the same day. She is caring and her hospitality during my visit was amazing. She is professional and well mannered and very talented. I had a color and cut appointment with her today and she truly nailed it. I have a lot of gray hair and my hair was discolored very badly. She listened very carefully on what I was asking for and delivered above expectation. I was new to this salon and I must admit I was leaving on a vacation like 2 days prior. So I told them, thinking these were stylist who worked there all the time that I would take anyone that was available. WOW, I told the stylist that I was wanting to leave the length but just trim it on the ends following the cut I had. I ended up with the front of my hair cut about 2 inches shorter than the back. I think she was too busy with her phone call and texting while she was cutting my hair and forgot what she was doing. That is the only explanation for this haircut. Also I had brought with me the recipe from my previous stylist regarding color. I like having reddish brown color with lowlights. Guess what, I now have brown hair with BLONDE highlights. I guess she felt she knew better than I did regarding what I had TOLD HER I wanted. At least at the end she was really happy with what she had done. No tip. I think this salon rents out spaces with no vetting of who they use. I'm not sure how the structure is there but it's not working for me. I will not be returning!! read more

This review is for Liz Webster. She did a phenomenal job on my hair. It was a color correction with lowlights added in. My hair had been previously bleached to the scalp (what I wanted at the time) but it grew out with a harsh root line and NO dimension in color with added weird patchiness from a previous toning session. I wore my hair up 90% of the time bc it was embarrassing. I have naturally fine hair but a decent amount of it so I was nervous to bleach anything more but she did it perfectly and blended everything so well together without adding more damage. Not to mention the haircut at the end....My hair went from lifeless and limp (fine hair problems) to dimensional and fun with movement, JUST from the hair cut. No styling needed. Only products.
