UPDATE (August 13): After my initial Yelp review went up and while I was in the process of attempting to cancel my three memberships, I spoke with Jennifer Ramirez from the Corporate Office. She immediately contacted Ricky Flores, the Area Manager for this location, who called me that same night and followed up again the next morning. He went straight to work resolving my concerns about my car. Mr. Flores was extremely professional and handled everything the way it should have been handled from day one. I also want to give a shoutout to Abby (Front Desk Cashier), who was always courteous and helpful throughout this ordeal, and to Jennifer, who followed up with me the next day to ensure everything was taken care of. My only regret is that this should have been resolved at the store level by Ricardo and Christian, who dropped the ball completely and wasted nearly a week of my time over a simple issue. Had they shown even a fraction of the professionalism that Mr. Flores, Abby, and Jennifer displayed, this review would have been entirely different. That said, thanks to the excellent display of leadership from these three employees, I will be continuing my three memberships. This wash tub almost completely ripped my driver side fender off and then tried to cover up the damages. Not a single employee came forward and told me about the damage that they caused. The employees simply shoved my fender back into place and hoped I wouldnt notice. When I confronted the manager about the damages he said that he was told that the damage was preexisting to which I explained it absolutely was not preexisting. The damage that they caused is so bad that I do not believe they would have cleaned my vehicle had I brought it in with that 'preexisting' damage. The manager, Joseph Guerra, was extremely insensitive to the situation and did not acknowledge how hurtful it is that they could lie to me about it and only apologized after I requested a refund. I was told that they would not go through insurance for the damages but that they would call me back only after watching video footage. Joseph said that they would take responsibility for any damage or excaberated damages that were caused by them on their lot. Joseph did notice and acknowledge how terrible of a job they did at actually washing the vehicle. They left tar and dirt all over the vehicle. Joseph later called me back after watching the footage where you can see their machine damaging my fender, but still didn't do a single thing to make this right. All I was told was that the employee who shoved my fender back into place was 'talked to'. Joseph has done everything in his power to try to say that my vehicle had been previously damaged and therefore a panel was lose and thats why their machine ripped my fender off. Joseph said that Tahoe's are notorious for having lose panels, which is news to me. No accountability for the fact that their employee made damages far worse by shoving the fender back into place and by trying to cover up what happened. It's disheartening that a company can do this to you and not own up to their mistake or even meet you half way. I'm so incredibly disappointed at how i've been treated throughout this whole ordeal and I'm sad for anyone else who will go through this with these people. I simply want to be indemnified. I just want my vehicle back to how it was before I dropped it off for a cleaning. read more

This is my first time being at this location in awhile. I canceled my membership because my vehicle was coming dirty on the side rails, back & front bumper and around the areas around the tires. It's a shame that the quality of service has gone downhill on this location. Yet, they are eager to get a tip for a job that's supposed to be a lot better than doing it myself! However, that's not the case, once more! The blonde lady took the vehicle back to get it washed again! Hopefully, it comes cleaner than what it was! Membership is high, if you take into account that the car is still dirty after being washed. I have had a membership with the Schertz Wash Tub for about a year. I booked an appointment for an interior detailing. Of course, when I arrived they talked me into adding the seats and carpet detailing as well. I decided to splurge because we had done a lot of traveling over the summer. We paid $200 with our member discount and it took almost 2 hours. When we pulled out, I noticed that the spray they used to clean the interior was splatted all over the inside of the windows. The center console was also still dirty, but overall at first glance everything else looked fine so we just wiped those spots ourselves. The next day my daughter tried to use the seat warmer and it no longer worked. Additionally, on closer examination the seats were not cleaned well at all in spots. I called to explain my concerns, but the manager was too busy with closing to speak to me and told the receptionist to tell me that they would review the video and call me back. No one ever called back. I will be canceling my membership and switching to my neighbor's mobile detailing. It's cheaper, better service, and I know if he accidentally broke something on my car, he would at least address it. read more

I've come to the wash tub in shertz a few time and since I bought a new car I've only been taking my car to the wash tub but lately I have been so unsatisfied with how my car has been when I leave. I pay for the ultimate wash but my car isnt vaccines right. There is water spots on my car, bird poop still on my windows and frame... I should t have to come home after to fix those things. With the 3 cars ive bringing to the was tub maybe it's time I find a new place or person to detail my car. read more

Today I went to get my car washed and the service I received needed to be noticed. I did not get his name, but I believe he was a manager (Dark blue shirt/tan hat). I watched as the younger gentleman wiped my car down (making sure my windows were cleaned). After they finished, the guy I mentioned above double checked my car, wiped it down some more. The above and beyond was him opening my trunk to remove the dried up leaves!! For that, I made it a point to leave a review!! He called me by name and asked if there was anything else I needed!! The service was great! The intake process was easy and they were very friendly. I had my truck detailed and the process took approximately three hours. Unfortunately, they missed some spots, but they did take away a stain that I had on one of my seats. Since my truck was there for such a long time, I would've expected a better job on the details, especially around the seat mounts, and on the outside on some of the crevices. I have had good experiences with other WashTubs in the past. This experience left much to be desired. I arrived at and checked in at 1015. It was busier than normal, so I expected my wash (The Gleam) to take longer than normal. After over 50 minutes, I went to the front desk to ask about my vehicle. I said I had been waiting for almost an hour, had not received a text update/heard my vehicle called, and could see my vehicle sitting in the parking lot. The host said she couldn't see through the window to see my truck and if my truck was parked, it was likely finished. When I got to my vehicle, the staff member stated my vehicle had been clean for approximately 20 minutes. This WashTub needs some serious work in communication between staff members and should not force customers to waste an hour of their day waiting for a wash. I will not be coming back to this location and recommend others not use this location as well. read more

I have a membership for my cars here, it's not a bad deal considering they clean car inside and out for $20/month unlimited washes. The staff is always friendly but you can tell they are overwhelmed and work very fast. I almost always have to ask them to vacuum again, wipe the inside somewhere they missed , etc. they always politely fix the issue I have but it shouldn't have been missed. I get it, there's a large volume at this location but still. I'm paying good money and I want to tip but they make it difficult. Also, I feel like I occasionally see a new scratch on my car, I can't prove it. I just tell myself maybe it was already there but I feel like I'm going crazy sometimes lol. I still keep my membership and go back but I just make sure I take a better look at my car prior to and a good look afterwords. read more

Wash Tub Schertz. Dodge Ram Rebel pickup truck, year: 2023. As I finished wiping down my own truck, I talked to the young man that was standing there. He was very apologetic when he saw me wiping down my own truck, the two that were wiping down my truck walked away to another vehicle. I had an appointment, I had already been there for awhile waiting. No ones fault, it was just busy. As I get in my truck to make a right turn out of the lot, I noticed my windshield was busted. I had to make my appointment, so I called and reported the damage. I was told that Victoria Cox would call me. I emailed her pictures. Not good enough, so she requested more pictures. After a few weeks, I emailed her again to ask what next steps I should take to get my windshield repaired. Her response: "Unfortunately we could not find anything conclusive on the cameras due to the small nature of the seam. However we do know that fracture lines like this are caused from a rock hitting your windshield, could be the tiniest ding, and any heat or pressure to the preexisting pressure point can cause it to swell and then spread. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to fix it, however we can offer you a free detail due to inconvenience of delayed response. Sincerely, Victoria Cox Assistant Manager - NB/35 What a shame. They barely wash the car. They don't vacuum well. And you have to pay extra just to get them to wipe down the inside. Today, they left about 5 dings/chips down the driver's side rear door. When I pointed it out to the attendant, he said it might be the heat. Not sure what that could have possibly meant to him! I didn't take the time to go find a manager (nor was it offered) because I know I can't prove it was them. But I know. And I know that I will not be going back. UPDATE: Wash Tub reached out the very next day. Offered to rewash the car. They viewed camera footage and said they could see the damage when I arrived so they don't believe they did it. But they did offer to try and buff the scratches out. Though I still will think twice before going there, they were very responsive. UPDAT 2: took the car back today. Viewed the camera footage and they did not cause the damage. But Joseph worked really hard to buff out the scratches. He rewashed the car and personally made sure the inside was clean. read more

I came to this location for the first time a couple of weeks ago -- I usually wash and detail my car myself but ended up coming here because I was given a coupon book for a few washes. I'm really big on washing my car properly and was super hesitant to bring my new car here after I had my sharkfin antenna explode off of my previous car at another Washtub location (see photo). Everything went smoothly except for the finally step; When I had a manager call me over to bring me to my newly washed car, I noticed some yellowing on the paint on the hood and mentioned it to the manager. He brought over a towel with some substance on it and tried to buff it out to no avail. It was a stain on my hood and I'm fine with that, no biggie at all. But when I get home that night and look at my hood in the garage light, I notice a ton of swirl marks in the paint where that manager had tried to buff that stain out. It looks like a ton of smudging but won't come off the paint at all. I call the next day and let them know about the situation and I was told to come in the next day so that I could be helped out. So the next day I come in and the managers have no clue what I'm talking about when I say "swirls". I assume that they're thinking I meant "deep scratches" that the machine could have left and not paint swirls that are left when the paint of a car is handled improperly with an abrasive. In the end, I had some confused employees just rewash my already clean car and give it back to me in the same condition instead of treating and paint correcting the swirls that are in my hood permanently from a manager improperly trying to remove a stain from the paint. I suggest that if you care about the longevity and condition of your vehicle, do not come here. The employees just aren't educated on proper car wash techniques and you may leave with a damaged vehicle. Im having to go to a professional car detailer to try to get these swirl marks out from my hood, ultimately setting me back a few hundred dollars to hopefully fix a mistake that should never have happened. read more

I would like to give them 4 of 5 stars, I really would, because I know that is hard work. HOWEVER, every single time I've been here, my windows were not cleaned properly. At first it was just a streak, in a hard to reach place. Then I noticed hand prints on my back window that have been there for over a month, even though I've been in about three times during that time. I'm going to wipe it off myself, along with my wheels. The wheels should be the easiest things to clean, because you can clearly see the difference between the break dust and the alloy wheels.‍ These are common complaint issues that most (hand) car wash businesses get from customers. Having worked at a car wash before, I know what to look for and I really expected a little more attention to detail. I was very disappointed. I paid for the $36 for the vacuum, wash, and wax. Outside was clean however there were man size hand prints on the clean car. But what I'm really pissed about is the inside. I told the attendant that I was more wanting a good vacuum. I was planning on putting the car covers I bought on this weekend. I even unbuckled the car seat and moved it. Told them I did it so they could vacuum under it. They didn't. There are pieces of dried dirt all over the seats. The spilled McDonald's French fries are still on the third row and floor.
