Wonderful spot within walking distance of the cruise port. Sat at the bar as we always do. Attentive service. I would actually rate a 4.5. They don't offer "you pick" flights. While visiting Key West, I went to visit The Waterfront Brewery with my husband and my brother-in-law. We each tried some of their craft beers on tap. We all agreed that they had a good selection of craft beers on tap. Also, we ordered their Pretzel Sticks with Beer Cheese Sauce to share, and they were very good. We were there for awhile playing pool and having a good time. The bartender provided us with great service during our visit. Just OK. My husband loved the beers he had and I feel we should always start with the good! The waterfront setting was so inviting as well. Great location close to duval street. This could be the best fish and chips of my entire life. Great place right on the wharf watching the boats go by. All aspects of the meal were on point. Fries were cooked to perfection and the tartar sauce was plentiful and delicious too. Stopped here for dinner after a long day out on the water and glad we did! We were seated quickly for a Friday night and were close to the water, so go to enjoy the nice breeze and the large windows at the front of the restaurant. My husband and I started with the shrimp (similar to bang bang shrimp) and the pretzels with beer cheese. Both were delicious and filling. My favorite part of this brewery by far was the location -- being able to sit by the open air and watch all the hustle and bustle near the docks. The brewery is huge with lots of seating, TVs, and entertainment/games. The beers we tried were just OK - the couple that I really wanted to try, they were out of of, so that was a bit disappointing. For food, we tried the pulled pork nachos and the ceviche. The ceviche was just ok, I wasn't sure about the addition of conche in there for me. The nachos were amazing though! And I'm not even a huge fried chicken person, but holy wow it's delicious! Huge chicken breast soaked in buttermilk and fried to juicy perfection. It's my favorite thing on the menu. My other favorite is the massive brisket grilled cheese. It's soooo cheesy and with the brisket and gravy and cheese, wow, you keep eating even though you're so full!! I love these two sandwiches so much, my husband and I brought friends here and they all agreed it's the best fried chicken as well! The beer is ok.. it's key west and they aren't known for tasty craft beer, let's be real. But, they do a great job with some guest taps, and the atmosphere is amazing on the waterfront. We came by for dinner after doing a bike tour nearby. Surprisingly enough it wasn't terribly busy and we were able to get a booth right near the docks and watched the sunset while we dined. Our waiter was quick and attentive. It really was a nice place to relax and catch the sunset after our hectic time on the bike tour. I would say the food was average. We stopped in here for a late lunch early dinner after flying all day. The menu offered the usual bar foods, burgers, nachos, salads, some with a southern twist. Since this was a brewery, there was a printout of about 12 beers. The first two we ordered were not available. We settled on two others and they arrived flat and a bit warm. Not the best start. Moving on to the food, the BBQ pork sandwich served with fries was excellent. A bit smoky and a bit sweet on a fresh Kaiser roll with slaw. The burger was 1/3 pound, pre formed but was cooked to order and juicy. Our server was a bit cold to start but she got better as our dining went on, checking on us, refilling waters and quick to ring us out when asked. This was a good quick stop but not sure we will keep it on the list to visit again this trip. read more

We went to the Waterfront Brewery today on a school trip. Not thrilled with the service. The waiter was very rude and not understanding at all when we tried to order of the kids menus that they gave us and they only allowed one person to order of of it and he said and I quote "I'm changing you double" not appropriate at all. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Not to mention two of the girls on trip ordered a salad with avocado that was rotten and not good. As well as my friend got wings with sauce on them and they completely forgot it. Our sever never came back to check on us as well. Reasonably priced parking was available right across the street. Once inside, I thought the decor was cool and I liked the island, laid back vibe they have going on. They also have pool tables and quite a few arcade games. I did think they had somewhat limited options as far as brews available the night we visited but I did enjoy the Honey Blonde Ale. I normally make it a point to eat here when I visit Key West. The food is usually good. I always order an old fashion made with Makers Mark. Today instead of an old fashion I was brought some orange water down drink. When I asked the water what is was since old fashion's are not orange, he said it was an old fashion. The manager, Brian came over, I explained this did not taste like Markers Mark bourbon or was the right color. He say it was made the way it should be and he wouldn't change it for a new one. When I asked how it was made he said bourbon and soda-there's no soda in old fashion's. Brian lost a faithful customer. You would think that when 2 people that always get the most expensive item on the menu, fresh catch, the least a good manager would do is change the drink. read more

What an incredible experience. Just after we arrived the whole family was hungry and we were definitely in need of a drink. The waterfront brewery delivered amazingly with food great drinks and wonderful service. Unfortunately I'm a little late writing this review so I don't remember our servers name, but she was attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and fun. The blackened mahi-mahi was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic. The fresh catch was grouper I believe and it was grilled to perfection. My wife and I were enjoying our anniversary trip to Key West and were looking for a place to watch the NASCAR race. We picked this place, because it's right on the waterfront and has lots of TVs. They also have flights of beer to try, but you don't get to pick the beers to try. That's a bit of a shame, because they have plenty of beers on tap, that I would have liked to try. I don't honestly know how many servers were working the floor but the restaurant wasn't very busy at all and our waitress seemed non-existent. She asked how things looked just after someone else dropped off our food and then we sat for a good 15 minutes waiting for our bill after we were finished eating before she stopped again. It's a little bit of everything: a fun 2-floor brewery, an arcade, and an American cuisine restaurant with a waterfront view. Great location right in the Key West Historic Seaport and Bight. They constantly rotating their beers, most are brewed at the Waterfront brewery and others are guest beers. They only serve locally brewed beers. None are from the mainland. All wines and Waterfront Brewery beers are half off daily from 4 pm-6:30 pm. This is actually one of the few places where you can take kids. They have old-school arcade games, air hockey, pool tables, claw machines, shuffleboard tables, video games, etc. Servers and bartenders are outstanding and welcoming. The food is actually good. I highly recommend the Chop House Burger - a juicy sirloin burger. 4 stars. read more

It was well made, rumored tomatoes were firm and fresh as was all the ingredients. I really enjoyed it Main Dish. I was not fond of the buffalo wings. They were flavored but very very dry with barely noticeable buffalo sauce. The hostess seemed to be having a bad day but I will did not take away a star for that. Highly recommend either the Reserve Flight or Flagship Flight here! A great selection of their most adored beers and really good variety too. This is a big and spacious brewery that I think is pretty awesome. It can get pretty busy so service can take a bit at times, but they do a good job at managing the crowds. It's near Half Shell Raw Bar and Kermit's Key Lime Shop that I recommend as well. Half Shell for HH from 4:30-6:30 pm and Kermit's for either Key Lime Pie or Key Lime Ice Cream! read more

Easy solid four or more. One of my favorite goto places on the Harbor Walk providing a canaverous space when you're feeling done-in by the tourists. They'd be a respectable brewery anywhere but with this view, whew! Solid beers, good eats. And usually devoid of the Conch customer service you tend to get often enough down here. I'm always wondering when/if they're going to open the upper level but I always forget to ask. Good family fun too, with the whole super cool arcade games fun spot going on.
