As you would expect, they have a great beer list. Don't be afraid to try the local brews. What we didn't expect was the selection and quality of their sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any of these choices. I do hope at some point that they will add more pinballs to their arcade. It would be so appreciated.
I got the catch of the day, wahoo, which was served with rice and broccoli, and it was great. The boyfriend got ribs and a flight of beer. They only have preset flights and he wasn't overly impressed with the beer or the ribs. The brewery was huge, though, with an arcade inside and a marina outside. They tried to sit us near the windows which was right by the open door outside (this was August). It was hot, so we had to ask to move which made us feel bad since it meant a new waiter. She handled it well but I didn't like being put in that situation but also didn't want to sweat eating my food inside an A/C place. I'd appreciate being asked before being seated because I feel that is pretty common in places like this.
Service was friendly but the overall cleanliness here left me saying, no thanks. We were going to order food but when I saw how dirty the outside of one of their coolers was - I didn't want to risk getting food. If your customers can see visible dirt - who knows what your kitchen looks like. I started w the Crazy Lady and didn't love it. We decided to get beer to walk around with and half way through I discovered something in my beer. *You know their tap lines are dirty but how much foam pours out when they try to pull the tabs.* BARTENDER WAS BATTLING WITH YHE TABS TO GET A DECENT POUR. Disappointed w this place.
Cool spot to grab a meal or some locally brewed beers. The inside had a view of the beer tanks and brewery area, as well as an arcade and a gift shop. Our server did a great job (he was in training). Its located right along the waterfront and Marina so there is a nice view as well. Our meals were very good and came out fast and hot.
As a fan of beer and breweries, we were surprised to see that there was a new (for us) brewery right across the street from our hotel when we were in town a couple of weeks ago! Of course, we had to check it out! Overall, it was good! The place is enormous! Long bar with plenty of seats, lots of tables, 2 stories! There is an arcade room and also shuffleboard in the back (which we played!). The bartender was friendly and greeted us right away. The only thing that I thought was strange, was they only offered 2 types of flights - already pre-picked. Typically, you can pick any beer you want to try... which is what I wanted to do. But either way, I was able to try some of their staple beers and they were good! They did have a food menu but we only stopped in for a few beers to try them out.
After a flight cancellation and having to rebook through another airline we had an extra day to fill and decided to stop here for lunch! We shared their nachos and omg it was exactly what we needed. These were so delicious, the pork was so tender and I loved the beer cheese on the side. It came out super quick too! After we ate, we played some of the arcade games they had. It was a perfect start to our day! I will be dreaming of these nachos until the next time we are in town!
An awesome place with arcade games! Our server was attentive and really nice! (Forgot his name) it's a nice large location with plenty of seating and tvs. The food was delicious!
Mary and I stopped in for a snack while visiting in the area. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated. Our tasty beverages came right out. We nibbled on the bruschetta and seared scallops; both were delicious. We topped it off with a piece of key lime pie, exceptionally good.
Great convenient spot for bus tours and cruise visitors. Quite a big inside with booth, table and bar seating. Outside has a good view of the water but we were inside where it felt a bit worn. Game tables you can tell had been played hard over the years. We had the fish dip appetizer and fried shrimp. I thought the shrimp were really good but fish dip was just ok. I got the flagship beer flight and none of them were very good. Much likelier to find better beer in Islamorada. Still a cool local brewery and convenient to where we were.
Cool place We came here for happy hour to get a beer. They have a full arcade for the kids and two different rooms and also a pool table. Right on the waterfront with beautiful views. Lots of inside seating Kids menu. Gift shop. We didn't get any food but it all looked so good! We will be back . Friendly staff. Happy hour beer was $4!
We sat at the bar and ordered a flight of beer while we waited for a shuttle. Seems like there were some parking garages around. They had a preset flight for beer, the Flagship flight that came with: Island Life Crazy Lady Kited Cowboy Lazy Way Everyone was friendly and we didn't try any of the food but it looked delicious. In my opinion, the beer wasn't my favorite, they seemed a little flat and lacking in flavor. The island life had a weird after taste. Seems like a cool place to hangout with a nice view and there's some arcade games. We might come back to try the food one day.
My husband had a burger. I had a kale salad. He loved his burger. My kale salad was pretty good. The service was beyond excellent. She was super cute, her husband is in the Coast Guard! Go US! Love that! Even the hostess was amazing. He messed with my husband about being a Buckeye fan.
We stopped in for some cold water and AC Shari Bush Parsons ordered a Chilled Black Bean Dip w Crispy Chips ...I tried it and it was very good! The atmosphere was nice! The staff a little short but the island was packed today because of a cruise ship at Port. I definitely would go back again to this nice large Brewery! No traditional beer only IPAs of what they brewed so Tony would not have enjoyed! They also had a large Adult Arcade attached!

Even in this expansive brewery there doesn't seem to be a lot of space for social Distancing, but they pulled it off nonetheless. I thought the best draw to this place was that the meals were large and affordable in comparison to places nearby. The arcade was nice to look at, and even while overwhelmed and openly venting, the service was good too! read more

First time here, nice place on the docks with a sports bar atmosphere. Beer was good, but nothing noteworthy from the flight I had. Shared the pork nachos and the lettuce wraps. The nachos were outstanding and would definitely recommend; the lettuce wraps very good although they were heavy on the lettuce and a bit light on the toppings. read more

Found this place by mistake and was very glad we did. First of all, cold AC! Trust me, august in the keys, you'll appreciate it So this place is big! There's a large bar, a sit down area, a huge game room, it's really cool. We had the beer sampler so between us we tried 20 different beers. They ranges from ok to "hell yeah?" Service was super friendly and efficient. The menu looked really good but we just had lunch down the dock so we couldn't try any of it A definite place to hit when you're in key west read more

We were passing through and found a brewery that we wanted to stop by and have some drinks. Wished we would have eaten here. It's in a beautiful location right on the water in downtown KeyWest. The waiter we had was a tall guy and very good at his job. He provided quick service. I had the sampler which was large pours. I had the Lazy Way IPA, a tropical fruit and close to a hazy IPA, 35A IP NE Hazy IPA, Lighthouse Lager and Crazy Lady Honey Blonde Ale. They were all winners and tasted good. I went with the 35A IPA just enough sweet notes for me to get a hazy. Hazy is my go to with any brewery that I go to. I've tried over 50+ hazy IPA from San Juan Islands, WA - Key West, FL as far as you can get from two places in the 48 states excluding HI and AK. The brewery is spacious with lots of room at the bar. Two different bars connected to each other. The outside is right on the water, which would provide a great place to eat near the great view. They have a merchandise store connected to the place. This is a very large brewery that can accommodate large parties! You can see the boats cuz it's right next to the docks! The doors open and it become a refreshing and breath taking spot to having lunch. My husband got a flight of beers to try and we just got an appetizer to share while we waited for our ride. The conch and shrimp ceviche was kind of bland. Not really much taste to it. It definitely needed more lime and salt. The waiter was great and friendly. read more

We stop in here any time we are in the Keys for a quick brew and maybe a bite to eat. The most recent visit we enjoyed a shrimp and avocado blt that was wonderful! The little man enjoyed the chicken fingers and seeing the pigeons fight over anything he dropped. A great time! read more
Decent to watch games on tv. My friend came to watch the gator game and met up with us after it was over. The wait staff was friendly but no one had masks on during covid, including bartenders and waitstaff, which was a real buzz kill for me. If you like bar food that's cool but nothing more. read more
We wanted to eat on the water and this place was right on it. Our booth was next to large open garage style doors so we got to watch the lively environment outside along with being feet from the harbor. It was very busy (Sunday night) but we were taken care of promptly. It helps we are good at knowing what we want by the time we are greeted. The food was really good. We got scallops as an appetizer. Being on the water with fresh seafood and personally never having had scallops before I was interested in trying them. My boyfriend said they were cooked correctly and I thought they were delicious. My boyfriend got the roast beef grilled cheese and it was good but nothing that sent us over the moon. I got the pork nachos and they were awesome. We also started off with two drinks, something lemonade and they were very good. You could tell there was alcohol in them but it wasn't over powering. Came here for lunch, great location right on this boardwalk. Large building. No outdoor seating, but large garage doors are along the backside of the building like big industrial windows, one or two were open. I order a shrimp and avocado blt. And it was fantastic. Came with fries and everything was delicious. We also had a chicken sandwich which was also incredible. Had the blonde ale. Was decent. Weird though: when I showed the waitress the yelp check-in for a free flight she had to go speak to her manager and care back informing me it was for good for a free beer. Okay I'll take it. Wish they would have realized the providing a sampling of multiple beers likely would have lead to the ordering of more beers. No worries though. Still, good times. We had the best meal here last night waiting for our sunset cruise! The service was amazing, we sat at the bar and ordered way too much food! The portions are large! We ended up canceling our sandwich we ordered for it wasn't made yet, the soup and fish dip were plenty! The beer was wonderful, we tried their logger! Highly recommend this place! The word "waterfront" just screams beauty. I mean what's better than sitting and doing, well, almost anything with a view of some body of water? Maybe dentist offices should look into this...but I digress. The real focus of this review should be about the massive Key West brewery and restaurant. I had a chance to pop inside with some coworkers on our trip to the southernmost area of the U.S. back in February with somewhat positive results. I say somewhat positive because I can't entirely say a lot of negatives either. Things fall somewhere in the middle here at Waterfront Brewery, or at least it felt like that (hence the three stars). Positives are always a good place to start so let's begin there. For one, it's huge. A whole arcade area complete with several classic games, a pool table, skeeball, a bunch of other time consumers and one shuffle board table. This was key to our visit as a few of the guys I was with love this game and so we camped out right by it for the hour or so we were there. It should be noted that none of this area is actually by the waterfront. To get that, you really have to tap into the food portion of the place which is something we didn't come there for (part of the intrigue in returning). Also, a small side note about the entrance. You have to walk straight through their gift shop which I didn't love (even if I bought a pint glass and a sticker from them later on). What really had me wanting to come was (of course) the beer, and that should be the biggest piece of the review-rating pie. Unfortunately this pie wasn't the best (let's move away from this analogy). There are two predetermined flight choices to go for (strike 1, as I like to choose my brews). The reserve flight seemed like the way to go as it had more of the choices I would've gone for had I gotten to choose my own tasters. I will give them a thumbs up on the $8 price so kudos to WB for that. Though I can't give two thumbs up on the beer, not all of it anyway. Let's break it down. Stephen's Strong Blonde wasn't as "muscular" (get it?) as I might've hoped though had a slight exotic taste at the end of each sip, perhaps from the yeast choice. The Passion Fruit Shandy did what it should in being light, fruity and a little tart, but, perhaps too much of each of these factors, even for a shandy. The biggest miss was IBU Zero IPA as it's described as a hazy IPA and, well, it wasn't. I could see right through the glass of this rather basic, semi-bitter style beer. Let's finish on a high note as the S'mores Stout was super smooth, a little malty, mildly sweet, and drank well even in the warm Florida weather. This one was nice enough to get a full pour before we finished up for the day. Overall, Waterfront Brewery has a few positives in its setup, space, and (honestly) that it's (almost) the only brewery in town (check out First Flight, it's better), but that doesn't mean it's a "must visit" when down in the Keys, even for a craft beer fan. Though I'd say it's worth checking out again, if not just for a quick pint and a game of shuffle board, but to at least gain a feel for their food. And hey, perhaps even a view of the waterfront next time. read more

Very good beer! We loved the beer and food here. The only downside to the brewery is they do not have very many beers on tap that they make. The food was very good and extremely fresh! The service was good but the bartenders were not the friendliest. The place as a whole has a super fun vibe to it and it would be a great place to get a group together and hang out! The outdoor area is also very nice. We will definitely be back and hopefully they have some more beer options the next time! read more
Huge interior. On the waterfront. In Key West. Tons of beer options. Tons of games to try whilst getting smashed. The food was plentiful and tasty. This spot is a common drop-off spot for uber, lyft, and hotel shuttles coming from the beach-y side of the keys. read more

Fan of the fact that there's a great Yelp check in offer. Not a fan that the app wasn't working or internet funk so I couldn't use it. Fan that it's for a sampler flight o beer. Not a fan that if you're not an IPA fan they won't let you sub out that choice. Fan of the cheese sauce with the pretzels. Fan of the massive amount of tomato bruschetta in the order. Not a fan of barely toasted bread and slight mozzarella. Fan of the conch chowder, but it was so minced it could have been anything. read more

Read the previous reviews and I didn't expect a lot. We got A LOT! Food was excellent. I don't even LIKE nachos but I helped my husband finish his. The Mahi Mahi was super fresh- best I've ever had. We always come here for happy hour - great drinks and open atmosphere with the breeze. Pork nachos is where it's at - piled high with pork, cheese sauce, corn, tomatoes, and spicy mayo. Our favorite. This time we also tried the hot wings, which were okay. Not crispy at all but the sauce was nice and the tuna tartare, which I would not recommend for the price. Tasted like bland crab and a tad of tuna on top. Their fish dip is also one of the best we've had. Overall good spot. read more

Great food and service!! Had the Fish and chips for $19 and it was fresh Mahi with tons of taste and fries! Crisp and yummy! Asked for cocktail sauce instead of tartar which it came with. Also ,Cole slaw was fresh and delicious! We both had same and couldn't eat all the fresh French fries!! It was a ton and delicious! Came here for the ac and great food while in Key West for the day. Glad I did!! Erica was our server and she was smiles and great service!! Had many refills on our ice tea even tough tons of customers! Can't say enough about this place. Awesome place right on the water next to the marina. We stopped for a few apps and a cocktail; ordered the tuna stack and Baja pork nachos. Both were fantastic. Tuna stack was super fresh and full of flavor. Relaxed vibe and friendly staff. Definitely recommend for snack, app, cocktail or dinner. read more
This was our pitstop for some sports, food, and of course beer. I'm a big beer guy, so I did the flight. Honestly, can't say I was a big fan of any of the beers. The vanilla milkshake IPA was the standout of the bunch. Pretty good food options, however. The tuna tower (basically poke with blue crab) was fun. The scallops were good, but not great. The pretzels with cheese sauce are a must if you're into that kinda bar fare. Service wasn't great because they were severely shortstaffed, but that's understandable and our waiter was super nice about it. They have a gift shop near the front, and in the back is a giant projector screen and some arcade games. Good way to kill some time in Key West. read more

We stopped in for a couple cold ones before our Sunset Cruise, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of beer and and top of that, it was happy hour! Hard to beat $3 ice cold craft brews, a nice spacious venue, and a good server. I had a passion fruit Shandy, and it was the perfect heat quencher. We also sampled the 2 IPAs, both with their own unique flavors. We were told they're about to hit our favorite neighbors grocery stores. The brewery portion was actually huge, with over 15 465gal shiny brewing kettles. There was also a large gaming area with pool tables. A very nice place to stop. read more

A brewery in Key West? We were in Key West 4 years ago, and didn't remember such a thing. Turns out we were right, as this place says they opened just after our visit. As midwesterners, we like our craft beer. The Waterfront does a nice job presenting a wide variety of styles, which were all good. Not award winning but good. (Pro tip: check in on Yelp. Hint, hint, hint.) Our waitress, Melanie, was as pleasant as could be, and happily worked with our group's fairly picky custom order requests. We snagged a high top table with a great view of the marina and Watched the Saturday afternoon crowd roll by. Key West never disappoints when it comes to people watching. We ordered the chicken wings and the fresh catch sandwich, blackened . The fish in the sandwich was excellent. The wings were pretty good too, though the sauce (Hot) was pretty ordinary. Melanie quickly fixed a kitchen mishap for us. Remember, you're on the water in a tourist town. You're there for the full experience. Have a couple beers and roll with it! read more

There is an outside seating area at the brewery, but i don't remember seeing any signage that states dogs aren't welcome... I don't believe their actual website says otherwise as well. I would assume service animals are ok.
