For an airport restaurant this is a great choice! My flight was delayed so I popped in for a quick dinner. Everything came out fast and the servers were attentive and nice - even when they technically weren't my server. You could tell that the people that worked there get along well and have a good time at while working which always elevates the vibe of a restaurant. If I ever end up in terminal C with time to spare - I'll be there!

Most airport restaurant food is disappointing and wildly expensive. We've already accepted that bars are an amenity with a 20-30% tariff. This seafood restaurant is actually good and clean. The products are prepared fresh and fast with generous portions. Service is efficient and courteous. Although we dared not to order, fresh oysters were offered on the half shell, and Bbqed. They actually had $30 Lobster Rolls and Narragansett beer on draft. Prices were actually reasonable. Chicken, Shrimp and Fish tacos were fresh, moist and flavorful. The Fried fish sandwich was crisp, moist and not dry. Condiment trays were new, clean and filled, already set on each table, often a simple pet peeve. Being that this is Charlotte NC, the southern hospitality is quick, effective and welcoming, if not warm and sincere. If it's this good at the airport gotta wonder what's available outside.

Service was excellent, beer was cold and the food was great! We started with the new England clam chowder and that was amazing. I had the delicious shrimp po boy as well and the portions are very generous for the pricing!

This was obviously an in-and-out experience. I was sat quickly by the hostess, the service to order with Francisco was slow and the QR code was disabled or I would have done it myself, but once I was greeted and placed my drink and food orders, we were rolling! Everything came out quickly and was quite tasty. The ghost pepper margarita and fish tacos were fantastic! The fries and the slaw situation on the tacos get a separate honorable mention as well. I love a good airport restaurant experience when I have the time to spare, and Waterman Fish Bar did not disappoint. Cheers!

I had a pretty chill lunch experience here while traveling. I sat at the bar and was greeted pretty quickly. The restaurant is newer, fun decor and lots of windows so it's very inviting. They have tvs above the bar so you can watch or just kind of look out the windows. I ordered the shrimp salad and calamari and enjoyed both. My salad dressing was a bit too salty so I didn't finish the salad. The calamari was the star of the show and I'm glad I ordered it. It was popular too because two different people sat next to me and ordered them too. I would eat here again!

Literally THE BEST meal we've ever had in an airport!! The fish sandwich and fish&chips was amazing !!! We had the sweetest server too, what a great airport experience! I never have high hopes but this place was spot on and actually delicious!!

It's a solid airport restaurant that serves some great drinks and delicious fish and chips. Our server that day was very friendly and helpful. So glad we picked this restaurant while waiting for our flight to board

(3/30/25) I'm having a bite to eat at Waterman's tonight. The fish & chips was the item that fit in my budget & I'n looking forward to it. I have a tall glass of ginger ale to accompany it. The restaurant is fairly crowded. People seem to be enjoying their meals. My server is Brie tonight. I have a table in the back of the restaurant with a view of a couple jets.

The place was pretty busy, the staff definitely does a great job of hustling. I asked for a spicy margarita, but the bartender explained that the jalapeños aren't very spicy , so she recommended the ghost pepper... great choice ! The shrimp tacos aren't much to look at, and lack any color to visually be appealing. However the tangy taste makes up a little bit. It still felt like it was missing something. They also offer military discount (on food) , thank you so much !

Most airport dining establishments are both overpriced and mediocre. Well The Waterman Fish Bar is just one of those two, overpriced. Tim, you are at an airport you should know this? Yes, I do. Fish and Chips were pretty good. Solid 3 1/2 stars. Fish better than the chips/fries. More fries than I can eat. Large fish filet. They gave me one and a half filets. Not sure if the half was a bonus or if I go short changed. Also ordered a Hurricane drink. They have draft beer, cans and bottles available. Place also has a full bar and cocktails. The Hurricane was actually very good. Now I was shocked when I reviewed the bill and found out the Hurricane was $23. I should have paid a little more attention to the menu. The drink was more expensive than the fish and chips ($22). You can order and pay via the QR code on the table. Makes it faster to get out. I love it his feature.

It was average. Ordered the Connecticut lobster roll, lobster was 2nd tier, not much on it. Coleslaw was average as well.

We did not get tended to for our coal refill and repacking needs, even after going to the front several times. The guy kept saying he will come and we watched him go everywhere else each time. We waited way too long. The 1 line for drinks being made by 1 server took extremely long. Although the music was great bring played by the live dj, it did not take away the frustration. No one should have to chase for service that the establishment is known for. No one should have to wait on a extremely long line just to receive a drink at a hookah lounge. This is not a club by any means. Even if you have an event, the establishment should plan much better for the crowd by make it a more efficient and effective experience. The transition was horrible.

I had high hopes for this restaurant when I made a reservation for Valentine's Day, but…read moreunfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. While I take full responsibility for arriving 15 minutes late, I was shocked at how rudely the hostess--who we later learned was the manager--handled the situation. Rather than a simple acknowledgment of the delay, or improbability of getting a table, she made a point to shame us, emphasizing that accommodating us would be an extra burden for her. This set an uncomfortable tone from the start. When she begrudgingly seated us at a table that had somehow magically become available, she made another unnecessary comment, implying that I should do my part to not make her job so difficult again. My partner was immediately put off and suggested we leave, but I decided to give the restaurant another chance, assuming the manager might just be having a rough night. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The food, best described as uninspired frozen bar fare from the main Duckworth's kitchen, took over 30 minutes to arrive--and even then, it was served before our drinks. When the drinks finally did arrive, they were nothing exceptional. I ordered a French 75, and my partner had a Paloma, only to realize that even the drinks had come from downstairs at Duckworth's. Given the restaurant's supposed reputation, I was surprised that it didn't have its own bar, unlike how things are set up at The Cellar. The only redeeming aspect of our visit was our waitress, who was pleasant and professional. However, what puzzled us the most was that despite the manager's initial reluctance to seat us, nearly half of the restaurant remained empty throughout the evening. With at least three or four servers working in a relatively small space, it was clear that staffing wasn't the issue--so why the hostility? It was hard not to wonder if other potential diners had been similarly turned off by the manager's deplorable attitude and the underwhelming menu. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths--both literally and figuratively. Between the lackluster food and drinks, and the uncalled-for attitude from management (she is bald and was wearing a dress on the evening of 2/14/25 at 9:30PM-11PM), I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon
