We stopped at this "off the main road grill" by recommendation of 2 different friends. It was a good choice. I don't think We would have found it if We weren't looking for it. We sat on the quaint deck overlooking the river and it was a perfect lunch spot. I had the river burger and it was delicious. Couldn't even finish it and the fries, there were so many. We ate here on a Sunday night. We arrived around 7:15 and was told there was a long (hr and half) wait but we were seated before 8pm in time to catch the sunset too! We sat on a bench by the river w our drinks and waited patiently and boy, were we glad we did. Adam was our server, super friendly and attentive to the table. He accidentally gave our mains to the table next to us and immediately apologized to both tables and admitted his mess up. He gave both tables a discount for the trouble. Otherwise it was a perfect evening! We had the creole prawns and wings to start. We both have had better wings but the prawns were amazing and the sauce so delicious. Then I had the salmon burger w tomato soup - this soup was incredibly yummy and had a lot of character and flavour to it. My husband had the chicken Parm and thought it was really good and big portion as well. We usually come for the view but the food is excellent too! They had us at WOW! Found this place on yelp as we were passing through Squamish. Was #2, and had 108 reviews, VS the #1 that only have 36 reviews. Glad we followed our intuition. Thought we were lost at first and put in the wrong address, but came out to this little brown building. Walked up to the top of the stairs from the parking lot, and OH WOW!!! What a sight to see this massive beautiful flowing river, right in front of us! Ordered the Fish and Chips, and Pulled Pork, as well as the "Poutine"(A Quebec dish, we were told). The food was excellent! Sylvia, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu, very personable, just a great all-around and attentive server, as well as explaining about the river and the surrounding area. we went up to the hostess. She told us it was 10 minutes for a table so we put our name and number down. 40 minutes later a new hostess shows up and asked who was still waiting. She said that she had taken over the hostess stand and no one told her there was a wait list. We finally got a table after about 55 minutes of waiting. 10 minutes at our table and a waitress finally comes by to take a drink order. 15 minutes later our drinks show up. When we finally ordered our food we got the muscles. About 7 of the 20 muscles we were served hadn't opened while they were cooked so we couldn't eat them. It's a nice location, but after this experience we will not be recommending this to friends or coming back. The whole establishment seemed disorganized and we were pretty unimpressed. read more

Went for breakfast. It was subpar food. We ordered the eggs Benny, and watershed breakfast Bacon was over cooked. Would not recommend for breakfast food. The egg was perfect. Maybe for the price this is what you would expect? I also had the tomato soup with focaccia bread. That was delicious. Highly recommend. Covid protocol was great. My cousin said we should stop here on the way up to Whistler because she's heard great things. I would second that comment. I'm so glad we came here for lunch. First off the view is amazing. It's absolutely beautiful. If you can snag a patio seat, go for it. It does get hot because there are no patio umbrellas, but honestly the inside is not very appealing. There are great views from the inside as well I just prefer the outside. Also there's a bit of a fly problem. So the food was so good. I ordered the pulled pork burger with fries and it was delicious. I ate the entire burger. Seriously so good. My cousins also enjoyed there food as well. Decent prices, good food and a beautiful view! As well, our waitress was super awesome. I would definitely swing by again for food and drinks. Ehhhh... I'm going to guess we caught these guys on a rough day, but none the less, here is my review. This place was busy as the day was sunny. Luckily we were seated after a 15 minute wait or so. We had a stellar view from our seats! The waitress told us we would have a 45 minute wait on food, and then told us nevermind, we would have a 30 minute wait for food. That didn't sound bad so we ordered drinks and then food. Drinks came after about 15 minutes. Then food came...70 minutes later. We would not have minded the wait if we had known ahead of time, because we would have ordered an app to snack on during the wait. Our waitress didn't come by for 45 minutes to get our second drink order while we waited for our food. When lunch came, it was good but not great. I had a chicken salad and it was lackluster. My friends got burgers though and said they were awesome. As we ate, we heard the table next to us get seated and then were told that food orders would not be allowed to be made for an hour because the kitchen was so backed up. Yikes. read more

Every trip to Whistler we plan around a stop at Watershed on our way. Great beer and cider selection, decent wine and refreshing cocktails. But the best is reliably the food! This time I had the brie and chicken sandwich with tomato soup on the side and it was a perfect combination with the Gin Fizz to drink. A quick check for eagles and bears on our way back to the car (sadly this was our first time that we only saw people, not wildlife), another satisfying experience! We should have listened to the other poor reviews here. It was impossible to find parking anywhere, but we really wanted to try this place. Got there and found out that it was going to be about 30min wait for a table, which didn't sound that bad. What we didn't take into account was that despite ordering food right when we sat down, that it was going to take another 45min to get our food. We ordered two appetizers and two mains, and I guess we should have mentioned that we didn't want the appetizers to come at the same time as the meal. Other tables that ordered after we did ended up getting their food before us. Our waitress Aneta barely came to check in on us, did not thank us for waiting, and didn't give us any sort of idea how long it was going to take for getting food. The food eventually came out and the appetizers looked pathetic. They were half the size of the orders that were going to other tables. Also, how do you manage to get avocado into the poutine? My wife is allergic to avocado, so it was not a pleasant surprise to find that the kitchen some how managed to cross contaminate on a poutine. We politely asked Aneta to take it back and have the kitchen remake it, and she had the audacity of asking why we ate half of it before getting it sent back. We had four bites of it before sending it back, it was because there was barely anything there when you brought it out. To end things off, there was settling the bill. I didn't complain, I just decided that the service and attitude that we received did not warrant a tip. Aneta looks at the receipt as it is printing out, noticed that I did not tip, and then asks if there was something wrong with the service. I've already paid the bill, and trying to guilt me for not leaving you a tip is not a great way to end the experience. The food was mediocre, the service was terrible. Not worth a visit, unless maybe you work for the local food safety authority. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

We decided to check this place out thinking it was quit a different place to check out in Squamish and we really liked that it was set apart alone on the river side with a nice view and the ambiance is pretty cool I'll give it that. The portions are big but the food was so bland on 75% of what we ordered there was no flavour in any of our meals. My friend send back the cod tacos and if you order a set of four tacos you're stuck ordering all the same flavour and you can't order various types which sucks and they don't put any spices and sauces in it so they are so bland. The fries and yam fries were super greasy and the Caesar salad was very bland no flavour but the croutons were good and home cooked. The Brie appetizer was really good good read more

So my girlfriend and I have made it a weekend trip to Squamish and so far have had an amazing time. Until we decided to visit this place. First off, the location on yelp is incorrect. Not such a big deal. When we see it has an outdoor patio we thought it was great! As soon as we walked in we got smiles and greeting from almost the entire staff! Awesome so far. The trouble began as soon as we say down. We were COMPLETELY ignored. I had to grab a waitress 8-10 mins in to ask for menus. She came back and threw them on the table and gave me a scowl, like I was inconveniencing her. We waited another 10 mins with NOTHING. No drinks, no service and no waitress. 20 mins in and a table of 8 are seated next to us. As SOON as they sit down they not only get menus right away but also water! My gf and I promptly got up and left. I don't know how they run things in cottage country but im left utterly unimpressed. I recommend The Living Room at the Executive Suites up the road. Excellent restaurant right by the river. We ate dinner at the Watershed twice during our 4-day stay in Squamish and were super pleased both times. The beer is in the $4-5 range with a special each night, even on the weekends. The first night I had the shed burger with the side salad, both were great. This place is a GEM near Squamish. It looks like someone's waterfront house that has been converted into a cute restaurant and wine bar. I believe it has recently been renovated to include an indoor/outdoor patio. But anyway, let's get to the food. Absolutely great. Everything we had was excellent. It also helps that the waitresses that day were really cute and helpful. The draw about this place is that it is (the only place) located right at the heart of "Eagle Run" where the public can view up to 3,700 eagles between December and mid-January. So I guess I missed the boat on that one, but I will remember this place to come back, drink wine, and watch eagles all day. We visited here before hitting up the pub for the hockey game, but this place also has two HD flat screen TVs for your tube-watching activities. I also heard from a DJ in the area that they have a pretty good nightlife. This place is really good!! My family and I wanted to try this place and we weren't disappointed. It is difficult to find it at night, not enough parking, but it was very nice. The place was warm, had great live music, and the service was amazing. It was a really busy night, but we had a great server, the food was really good, and they always have something from the Sports Channel on.
