New place in town and so far I've been there three times. One each for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All three were excellent. Small but interesting menu. My favorite were the blue corn waffles. Came here on Father's Day morning and although there was a wait, I was able to immediately grab 2 seats at the counter. Had the shrimp and grits which was absolutely amazing with tons of flavor and fresh shrimp and veggies. We also had the smoked tuna melt sandwich which delicious and unique. I spoke with the manager about their blue corn waffles which I was dying to try, and he was gracious enough to get us one single waffle alacarte. The food was excellent and the staff was even better. Suffered a slight mishap with a pressurized salsa bottle and the staff was extremely accommodating. After helping to scrub me down (I was dripping in red salsa lol) they comped a few items for us, gave us a complimentary dessert and even gave us the contact to upper management in the event the salsa stains persisted. My husband and I found this place on Yelp and decided to go due to their high ratings and creative ingredients in their food items. I ordered the Tri Tip Steak bowl and he ordered a burrito with pork and sweet potatoes. Both of our meals were bursting with flavor! The staff was very friendly including the chef/ owner, Michael which came out to greet us and see how everything was. We plan on going back to try some of their other items as well as some items from their catering menu which looked like they would be really good. This is basically a Mexican place. Only two kinds of beer and one was pineapple.() other was extremely mediocre. I ordered quesadillas and they were absolutely dripping in Greece. There was six of them in the pure generous, but after one and a half I could not eat anymore. I had a stomach ache that night. My friend ordered a tri-tip bowl and the tri-tip was tough and the bowl was very boring with a lot of rice and not much else in it. We tried the French toast croissant (10/10 ) the breakfast burrito ( 9/10) tri tip tacos ( 9.5/10) ... restaurant is very nice inside nothing fancy just a nice place to sit and relax . Service is pretty good ... lots of kids as servers and I'm sure they will get better and better as time goes on . We went back for dinner it was just as good but it is a limited menu ( don't look at the website because dinner menu is much smaller ) the dinner burrito is great ( another 10/10 ) and the tri tip bowl was very good ( 9.5/10) give it a try u wont be disappointed read more
