What a vibe. The DJ was spinning old skool classics from Chaka to Michael. WHEW. I had killed my set at the Laugh Factory earlier that evening and needed to catch a vibe and this was the move. We both had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The fries were made to perfection and the sauce was also delicious. The bartender was super sweet and attentive and made a stellar drink. Next time I'm back to sling jokes, I will definitely be patronizing this gem again.

I love this place! Security is very friendly but professional! I would've given 5 stars but I ordered an appetizer and a couple of drinks and water! I pay! Then I ask for a cup of ice on the side! I could get it! I just tipped you over 25 percent of my bill and to tell me that along with I have to pick up my food when it is ready didn't vibe with me! It's still a nice place to come! I just took one star away! Service; once I got it; it was good! Anyhow; I'm here as we speak; 6-25-26; 2240 hours! I'm about to enjoy! At least I'm feeling good! The DJ Devoux is the shii! He is bumping!!! Loving the vibe tho!

This review is for the well on Saturday nights. I've been coming to the well for a few years now and normally I would just visit during the week. This past weekend I came in on Saturday and I had no idea this was the turn up spot. I showed up with some friends around 11pm and were greeted by security. After a quick pat down I walked in and to my surprise it was damn near elbow to elbow. The dj was spinning classic and I guess modern rnb if there is such a thing. All the tables were taken so we stood by the wall after ordering drinks. I saw people eating but I'm not sure if the kitchen was still open by the time we got in. The crowd was heavily melanated which was dope because I don't see that often in Hollywood. The drinks were flowing, the women were attractive and no drama so all the reason for me to keep coming back

4+ smallish cocktail lounge/ bar located in Hollywood conveniently located right across the street from the Hollywood Palladium. The few times I visited was around visiting the Palladium for concerts so the vibe was lively each time. Quick service and solid prices - there was a time where I had a somewhat rare pour of bourbon here for a relatively low price. My last visit here was before a show that me and three other friends were going to across the street and stopped here to kill some time and grab some drinks. They make some pretty good cocktails as well! I think I got an old fashioned. I can't say much about the food here, because I don't think I ever ordered any food here during my visits. Parking for this spot (and Palladium) is pretty tight but not impossible. If you are willing to walk a few blocks and depending on what night you are here, I think you should be able to find street parking no problem. There's always the option of the paid lot or parking when going to a show.

First impression is key for any establishment and to simply say; The Well's first impression from my experience is life changing. I found my new home. From the moment you enter, the Doorman, Ryan, let's just say whoever hired him needs to get a raise, including him... real, attentive, kind... bringing back those vibes of how a key member at any nightclub is the Doorman, because they are the first and last impression. The ambience, lighting, interior decor and last but not least, DJ As-Is brought me to cloud nine with the best disco, soul and funk Sunday evening aka OG Sunday. Best night in Hollywood that I experienced thus far, this decade. Period.

Went there on Skeleton Key night on a Tuesday shortly before Halloween. Great dimly lit atmosphere, amazing gothy vibe and music, and tasty themed drinks. The Well is a required stop when I'm in LA.

Love this bar! it's become kind of a home spot for me and my friends, during the summer especially it's ice cold in there, dark, no windows kind of feels like Vegas vibes with no way of knowing the outside.. eclectic, lots of different music and different nights. food is awesome. The wings are insane. They have two different types, sweet and spicy - my favorite, love their Tuesday night rock 'n' roll night as that's mostly my vibe. Definitely check it out if you're in the Los Angeles area.

I was instantly so glad we chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary because it was the perfect setting for a romantic date night. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything we ordered was delicious, with the exception of the Korean aguachiles, which we probably could've skipped. We also tried the bluefin bibimbap, oysters, and the oh-so-tender short rib that practically melted in our mouths. But the most unforgettable dish was also the simplest: the Korean fried chicken. It wasn't necessarily something out of the ordinary, but it sure tasted like it. The perfect crisp, flavor, and seasoning had us eating every last piece right down to the bone. Our server also made the experience even better. She gave us some of the best recommendations and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. My friend and I ordered the soy marinated prawns, beef tartare stone pot rice, creamy chicken soup, Wagyu beef soft tofu soup. The prawns were nicely marinated in a slightly sweet slightly salty soy sauce, and came paired with some barley and seaweed to make mini wraps. Delicious and a nice way to start the meal. The creamy chicken soup was indeed very creamy and smooth but the bowl is really small and would've been better with a higher soup to noodle ratio since the noodles soaked up the yummy soup. The tofu soup was surprisingly bland even though it was very red. It could've used more umami flavor or spice - something to jazz it up since the tofu, egg, and beef itself were not seasoned. My favorite dish of the night was the steak tartare stone pot rice. It came with a lot of veggies that helped balance out the sauce and I'm a sucker for crispy rice. However, the rice itself wasn't seasoned thoroughly as some spots had absolutely delicious sauce while other spots were bland. And the sauce wasn't a part of the tartare on top so it wasn't a mixing issue. The staff are kind and attentive, even with us being tucked away in the back corner and hidden by a curtain panel.

They started us off with chips and salsa which was so good! Then we had our first round of mimosas, I got cranberry for my first two rounds and then switched over to an espresso martini with whiskey (and if you haven't tried it YOU MUST!) Not just here but everywhere! For my starter I got the berries and cream which I usually don't do but it was so good I'm glad I went outside of my box. The Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries were amazing. For my entree, I ordered the French Toast, I did not realize it was stuffed with some sort of apricot or fruit jam and was not the biggest fan of this. For dessert I went with the churros and was left feeling a bit let down. The churros needed salt to bring out the sweetness, they tasted a bit bland and the sauce that came with did not add to the flavors. Overall because it's such a cute place, the drinks are good and priced decently as well as having a large enough menu where the next visit I feel I could choose something different I would 10/10 go back.
