    Tater tots

We came here after going to the dog park because they are dog friendly on the patio. They actually have a menu just for dogs. We got the poke bowl which was big and pretty tasty. They have a number of beers on tap. Service was a bit slow and it took a while for the food to come out. The caccio Pepe tator tots were tasty.

As you step into this beautiful hotel, an elegant restaurant immediately catches your eye on the right. The Wilson is a refined and vibrant spot. We were seated in the covered patio, which was decorated with beautiful, lush greenery. Their brunch menu is pretty solid. The chicken Caesar salad was a standout. It was crispy, creamy with perfectly grilled chicken - one of the best I had. I added fries, which cost a little extra. The prices are on the higher side, but it is an upscale restaurant. Service was friendly but a little all over the place. Overall 4 stars, beautiful decor and good brunch menu.

Great spot for brunch serving American food. Their enclosed glass patio is lovely, with lots of greenery. I ordered the Wagyu burger, and it was delicious. The patty was juicy and flavorful, which is saying a lot because I'm not usually a burger person. The fries were decent. We also got the bottomless drinks with brunch. Warning: their sangria is deliciously dangerous. The staff was friendly. Overall, great experience.

Came here for dinner and a drink. The service was a little slow and we actually ordered an appetizer that never came (though we were also not charged for it). We tried the bluefish dip and it was actually very good! I also got the burger which was good, but nothing to write home about. The place is kinda tight, but they allow for dogs inside, which was interesting. Overall, a decent place in the area, but would not make a special trip for it.

Located inside a hotel, The Wilson is great spot to eat at just a half block away from FIT. Maybe the best dog-friendly restaurant in the city. Almost every other table had someone who brought a dog. I also love that they have a dog menu as well! My friend's pup really enjoyed the broccoli. The restaurant is beautiful and has an inside/outside design to it. The walls are all windows so it feels like you're outside. They also dress up the restaurant with lots of greenery and plants. Love all the natural sunlight that comes in. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fried chicken which gave the dish a delightful crunch. It's been days since I ate it and I still think about it. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made my friend's birthday so special. They left a little birthday card for her on the table and even brought out a complimentary dessert for her with a sparkler.

    Chicken and Waffles

Really great brunch spot with a nice vibe and delicious American brunch food. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles ($22) - the chicken was fried perfectly with a nice crispy exterior and juicy inside. It was also a pretty good sized piece of chicken. The waffle was pretty good albeit fairly standard. There was a handful of blueberries on there with some berry butter as well. The inside of this place has a nice casual and lively yet slightly elevated vibe, ideal for most occasions ranging from casual meal to nicer brunch. There was plenty of seating available for weekend brunch without a reservation. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The service speed is decent. Overall, I would give The Wilson 4.5 stars if I could for that tasty chicken and nice environment. I think if there was just a little something extra to make the experience or my Chicken and Waffles stand out a bit more, I would've given 5 stars, but for now, it'll have to settle for a very strong 4 stars - highly recommend!

Salmon bagel with no cream cheese

Came here yesterday for brunch. The place itself is very nice, the "outdoor" patio was great. Lots of dogs, which I don't mind but some lady gave her dog a bowl of food to eat on the floor and it just felt weird to me. I got the avocado toast. I had asked for the sun dried tomatoes to be on the side and I was told that wasn't possible cause it's mixed in but there wasn't even red in the mixture? Maybe they did leave it out? Idk I didn't taste it that's for sure. The avocado mixture was just guacamole. It said it had chilis but it had no spice, it said it had za'atar but if it had any I didn't taste it. It was very blah. My friend got the salmon bagel and for being in NYC I was shocked at what they gave her. The bagel looked like a lenders frozen bagel and there was almost no cream cheese on it it was laughable. And they charge $22 for it!!! I wouldn't come back here

Tried this place for the first time today. Located inside a hotel, this place is great if you're staying on property. Interior is spacious and well decorated. "Outdoor" seating area is nice. Food didn't blow me away. For being the LITERAL city of bagels and lox, what I received was the saddest example of it. The bagel was not a NYC bagel, which is actually crazy to me, because we're IN NYC and you can get them from anywhere. It was a generic bagged bagel, plain, doughy, and just... no. It was also supposed to be smoked salmon and cream cheese. What I received was insane. I showed the server and she brought over a side of cream cheese and thankfully didn't charge for it. Extremely overpriced at $22. You can get a fully loaded smoked nova deluxe at Finn's with exploding ingredients and avocado for $19. I also don't know why it's the thing now to bring pets inside an eating establishment. Dogs just eating food and dropping it all over the floor, shaking and projectile shooting dog hair into the air. Didn't realize this place was like this, what if someone had allergies?

Pull apart bread, Parmesan was delicious. As was the chimichurri.

A fun after work hot spot located in the heart of Nomad just south of Penn Station. And it's convenient location, situated inside the Innside Hotel by Melia. There's a covered heated outdoor-esque garden patio open year round. Seasonal outdoor space available as well in the rear. And a main dining room with bar access as well as a huge lower level dining room that's perfect for private events. The food menu features bistro like fare and bar eats - think burgers and light appetizers and a pot of mussels and fries. The cocktail menu is even more fun - cocktails, mocktails, mixers and beers. My friends and I shared the pull apart bread topped with Parmesan and chimichurri served in a hot pan. Great flavor overall and the bread was shockingly huge! Light and fluffy. We also started with the tuna crispy rice. It was tuna poke drizzled with soy, Sriracha mayo and sesame. The tuna poke was a generous portion. For dinner, we shared the grilled Wagyu burger served with tallegio cheese, mushroom ketchup and truffle mayo. Everything you want in a burger, just elevated. The cheese really brought it all together. And we also shared the mussels + fries, which had a white wine, garlic and shallot base. I enjoyed this very much - wished I had not eaten so much bread before and saved my stomach for the toasted bread they paired the mussels with! The white wine broth was good but a little watered down. I had hoped for a more robust flavor and richer broth. Still good but they also could've given more broth. The mussels on the top had less flavor vs the ones sitting on the bottom. The fries were a generous portion and great for sharing. They were crisp and somewhat firm, good satisfying crunch. Wait staff and servers were all friendly and hospitable. This is a pet friendly restaurant so that makes this a great spot if you are a pet owner. The tables were nicely spaced out so you were still just far enough away to have your own conversation. And yet the space felt filled. Loved the heating lamps and garden decor in the front where we sat. Drinks were definitely strong, which I didn't mind at all. I'm looking forward to return for the weekends' bottomless brunch or venture in a little earlier as I just missed the Happy Hour special, weekdays between 3pm - 6pm.

I've been to the Wilson 3 or 4x now. Always for brunch. It's located close to my regular hotels and they always have spots open for reservations. I love sitting in the glass enclosed room full of greenery. You could almost forget that it's winter and -3° out. It's food and it gets the job done, but I'm never blown away. I'm mostly going there because you can spontaneously eat there, it's in the neighborhood, and I don't really care about what I eat for breakfast. Just as easy spot to choose. I've ordered eggs Benedict a couple of times. Both times, I got an overcooked egg. It's not a Benedict if the yolk isn't runny. Today I ordered the salmon bagel with tater tots. The tots were perfect. I don't usually splurge on those, but I'm glad I did. The bagel itself was okay. The cucumbers, cream cheese, capers, and smoked salmon were great I also ordered a Bloody Mary. It was verrry peppery. The most peppery bloody I've ever had. It was good, but hard to completely finish. Will I be back? Yeah. For all the reasons I listed above. Sometimes you don't want to travel far for food.

My friend and I were looking for a place to get dinner after visiting Poster House on a Friday night and discovered this hotel restaurant. We had a great, attentive waiter who made some menu suggestions. My friend ordered the falafel salad, which she loved: lots of variety on the plate and very filling. Her one complaint was that the tahini would have worked better on the side. I had the fried chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips. The sandwich was well made (the ingredients didn't make the pretzel bun soggy) and the chips were nice and crisp. I thought they would have been enhanced by a little sea salt or salt and pepper. Despite being a hotel restaurant, the kitchen isn't open much past 9:30 and the restaurant closes at 10. I think at least on Friday nights and weekends it should be open later since this is Chelsea. Good to know about this addition to the neighborhood.

Nice little lunch spot in NYC! I met a friend at The Wilson for lunch on a Friday afternoon this summer and we had a great experience. We made a reservation, but on this particular day it wasn't necessary -- the space was pretty empty on both inside and the patio. We sat on the covered patio and decided to try one of the summer cocktails, the green thumb, complete with vodka, elderflower, basil, lemon, and moscato d'asti. This was SO delicious and refreshing! I really enjoyed it. To eat, I went with a chicken caesar wrap and fries. I really liked this as well! I hadn't had a caesar wrap in a while, and this one hit the spot. It was made with romaine lettuce, garlic breadcrumbs, parmesan, and caesar dressing wrapped in a flour tortilla. Our server was very nice but a little absent. Overall, we had a great experience!

Such a welcoming space with delicious food. Dog friendly. Staff was attentive and not overbearing. Perfect especially for a spring brunch. Got their bottomless mimosas deal which was great.

Do we have to dress up or can we come casual?

You can go casual. As nice as this restaurant is decorated, not only can you go casual, but it's also pet friendly.

Are there TVs to watch games?

There are a couple TVs in the bar room area though I wouldn't consider this a sports bar where there are multiple TVs playing different games.

Reviews say that they are dog-friendly. I see pic of dogs sitting on chairs. Then I read reviews of folks saying that the dogs had to be on the floor. What is the real truth?

I have only seen dogs on the floor.

Is the Locals Lunch available on the weekends as well?

    No, just weekdays.

Hi, do you accept apple pay?

    not sure..

    Hi. Are pets allowed?

Yes pets are allowed & they even have a dog menu!

Are they decorated for the holidays? I have family visiting and we are looking for a dinner place that's festive. I've had dinner here before and would love to return.

Maybe. Would that make or break you staying here?

Hi, I'm picking a nice restaurant to meet with my friend, we both have a dog. Wonder if you are a dog-friendly restaurant?

Yes we are! Looking forward to having you!

    Do they happy hour?

Yes they have happy hour and it's very generous in portions and pricing.

Both failed epically. The bone marrow was inedible as it was like cold custard. Escargot had zero flavor and a real lack of garlic and good butter. Tasted more like vegetable oil than good butter. We shared the lobster pasta entree. Tasted more like Mexican goulash. No Italian flavors to be found in the sauce. Never once did the nameless waiter stop and inquire about our meal. Just all around a poor experience and a disappointing Friday night. There are far better places that appreciate your patronage. We will not be coming back. Not worth it.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. We were running a little late getting there because of traffic, but they were really nice about it which I appreciated. We ordered a bunch of things for the table so we could try a little bit of everything. The monkey bread was probably my favorite and definitely worth ordering. We also got the steak which was cooked perfectly, along with pasta and a burger. There was a small mix-up with our order and they accidentally brought out an extra pasta, but our server fixed it right away and took care of it without us even having to ask. Service throughout dinner was honestly great. We also tried a couple drinks and ended up staying for a while because we liked the atmosphere so much. It's definitely more of a special dinner spot than somewhere I'd casually stop into, but between the food, service and overall vibe I'd happily come back. Such a good dinner in NYC!

I was called back and the person who called me was very nice and was happy to make this change for us. Overall, the vibes of the restaurant were great I can totally see why it's hard to get a resy here! Service was excellent. First of all we were a bit late due to traffic and weather but the staff was really understanding! Next, our waiter accidentally put in 2 pastas instead of a burger we ordered but had that fixed immediately and took it off our tab which was a super nice surprise. We got a couple things to share and everything was delicious! The monkey bread was totally worth the hype! Steak was cooked perfectly and the pasta was delicious. Also got a couple drinks! Would totally come back here again.

They have to let you in. I didn't have a reservation, but was seated immediately. Win! I really should've asked questions instead of going rogue. My intention was to do the lunch prix fixe menu. The menu on the table was a la carte. This did however work out better for me as I had limited time since I was catching a broadway show. Started with the olives then followed with the hot dogs and closed with the gem lettuce. They did come at different times. This gave me the perfect time to nibble slowly. The olives paired perfectly with the salad. The hot dogs were my favorite. The whole meal was perfectly balanced for me. Just have to mention how amazing the service was. No table had anything waiting to be taken away because there was always someone walking around. At one point, one of the guys clocked I had just finished drinking my water and within seconds he was at my table refilling my glass. I mean c'mon. Will took great care of me. He even suggested the dessert I ended up getting which was the peach cruller. I'm gonna try to come back to do the lunch tasting before I go back home to LA.

Bursting with flavor and the potatoes made for a nice variation of textures. Salmon with endive salad was also great. Salmon skin was cooked perfectly. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the corn gelato. Just didn't taste like much and the peaches I found didn't really play well with the dish for me. Overall though, service was top notch and you can't beat the upscale vibe. Would definitely recommend this for restaurant week experiences if you're looking to get a fine dining taste at a reduced cost. Portions felt reasonable for the quality and left full (far from bursting, but definitely not hungry at all).

The hostess was welcoming, our waitress was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and the support staff kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. We took several of our server's recommendations and were happy with every one. What we ordered: * Butter Service Garni * Dressed Big Rock Oysters * Yellowtail Crudo * Filet Mignon with Pommes Purée * Nutella Opéra Cake Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the pommes purée were rich and incredibly smooth, and the Nutella Opéra Cake was the perfect way to end the meal. The only thing I'd mention is that the restrooms are located down a fairly long flight of stairs. If you're wearing heels, have a stroller, or have mobility limitations, it's something to be aware of. Overall, this was a fantastic experience with excellent food, attentive service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I'd gladly return and would recommend Quality Bistro to anyone looking for an upscale French dining experience.

We started with the kale salad (although it seemed more like spinach than kale), and it was still fresh and delicious. The tomato burrata was outstanding--definitely a must-order! I had the steak frites, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the French onion burger, and after trying a bite, I already know that's what I'll be ordering next time--it was incredible! The cocktails were made perfectly, and to finish, we shared the lemon ice cream cake. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet--the perfect ending to a great meal. Everything from the food to the drinks and exceptional service made this a wonderful dining experience. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I was lead to this great spot for a late dinner and cocktails on a Friday night. The hostess was really friendly and quicky sat us at a two seater near the bar, which we appreciated. The ambiance was light and friendly and they even had a DJ playing all the good jams! I think I danced a bit, (definitely liquid courage). The DJ read the room and created a fun ambiance. The waitress came over a few minutes later and quickly took our drink and meal order. We ordered the Tuna Crispy Rice ( Yum), Guinness Wager Sliders (Nom Nom), Korean Chicken Boas (My Favorite!) and Carnitas Tacos.....I'm embarrassed to admit that we cleaned our plates like a couple of savages. Bartley Dunnes is a great choice to come solo, meet up with friends or come as a group of no more than 4, unless you make a reservation. They have a second floor that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to check out, so I can't write about that. However, I did see people coming and going straight up. I'll be back!

They have a great happy hour running from open until 8 PM, including $6 beers and $8 cocktails, which is a great deal for the area. ordered the Bartleys Spritz (Aperol Spritz) and a Tequila Mule. We sat at the bar, which runs about half the length of the space, and there were also plenty of tables throughout. The back section of the bar feels a bit separated from the main entrance area. There are some TVs throughout, and everything inside seemed fairly new and well maintained. It was not very crowded on a Tuesday early evening, so service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We did not order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for happy hour drinks in the MoMA/Midtown West area.
