I've been to The Wilson several times now, and it remains one of the most dog-friendly restaurants I've found in NYC. The standout feature is the massive sunroom dining area where dogs are welcome. It feels bright and open, with lots of natural light and plenty of room to relax while your humans enjoy brunch. Unlike many places that simply tolerate dogs, The Wilson goes out of its way to include us. The best part? They have an actual dog menu. Not a secret side of chicken you have to ask for. A real menu with options made specifically for pups. Naturally, I took my responsibilities as a food critic very seriously. The humans have always enjoyed their brunches here, and the atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming. It's attached to a hotel, which makes it a great stop for visitors traveling with dogs. Was staying at the adjoining hotel and this is the restaurant on site, accessible right in the lobby. Walked right in and had the option of sitting inside or outside. Very nice ambience and attentive staff. Food was a solid 8.5 out of 10. Ordered the Mac and cheese and the rigatoni bolognese. All their pasta dishes are fresh, in house made pasta which was a pleasant surprise. Pasta was a nice Al dente and bolognese sauce was excellent. Really cute spot! Very open and bright ambiance. Makes you happy and wanna be chatty with your girls! If you are the type to like to take photos it's definitely a good spot because it's bright lighting and colorful. Service was absolutely attentive and they did a fantastic job. I didn't enjoy the dogs in the restaurant but that's just my personal opinion. One dog was yelping a lot and was weaving in and out of the table and it was just annoying. There were 2 other dogs in there that were sitting and well behaved but I just don't like seeing dogs while I'm eating out at a restaurant. It felt out of place. The food was all made exactly to order. They have an espresso rub that they put on their steak and wings and it's fantastic. I didn't love their cocktails. Found some of the ingredients a little too overpowering for my style. I wasn't blown away by any of the food we ordered but everything was still tasty. We came here after going to the dog park because they are dog friendly on the patio. They actually have a menu just for dogs. We got the poke bowl which was big and pretty tasty. Located inside a hotel, The Wilson is great spot to eat at just a half block away from FIT. Maybe the best dog-friendly restaurant in the city. Almost every other table had someone who brought a dog. I also love that they have a dog menu as well! My friend's pup really enjoyed the broccoli. The restaurant is beautiful and has an inside/outside design to it. The walls are all windows so it feels like you're outside. They also dress up the restaurant with lots of greenery and plants. Love all the natural sunlight that comes in. Overall, I would give The Wilson 4.5 stars if I could for that tasty chicken and nice environment. Lots of dogs, which I don't mind but some lady gave her dog a bowl of food to eat on the floor and it just felt weird to me. I got the avocado toast. I had asked for the sun dried tomatoes to be on the side and I was told that wasn't possible cause it's mixed in but there wasn't even red in the mixture? Maybe they did leave it out? Tried this place for the first time today. Located inside a hotel, this place is great if you're staying on property. Interior is spacious and well decorated. "Outdoor" seating area is nice. Food didn't blow me away. For being the LITERAL city of bagels and lox, what I received was the saddest example of it. The bagel was not a NYC bagel, which is actually crazy to me, because we're IN NYC and you can get them from anywhere. It was a generic bagged bagel, plain, doughy, and just... no. It was also supposed to be smoked salmon and cream cheese. What I received was insane. I showed the server and she brought over a side of cream cheese and thankfully didn't charge for it. Extremely overpriced at $22. You can get a fully loaded smoked nova deluxe at Finn's with exploding ingredients and avocado for $19. A fun after work hot spot located in the heart of Nomad just south of Penn Station. And it's convenient location, situated inside the Innside Hotel by Melia. There's a covered heated outdoor-esque garden patio open year round. Seasonal outdoor space available as well in the rear. And a main dining room with bar access as well as a huge lower level dining room that's perfect for private events. The food menu features bistro like fare and bar eats - think burgers and light appetizers and a pot of mussels and fries. The cocktail menu is even more fun - cocktails, mocktails, mixers and beers. My friends and I shared the pull apart bread topped with Parmesan and chimichurri served in a hot pan. Great flavor overall and the bread was shockingly huge! Light and fluffy. We also started with the tuna crispy rice. It was tuna poke drizzled with soy, Sriracha mayo and sesame. The tuna poke was a generous portion. For dinner, we shared the grilled Wagyu burger served with tallegio cheese, mushroom ketchup and truffle mayo. Everything you want in a burger, just elevated. The cheese really brought it all together. And we also shared the mussels + fries, which had a white wine, garlic and shallot base. I enjoyed this very much - wished I had not eaten so much bread before and saved my stomach for the toasted bread they paired the mussels with! The white wine broth was good but a little watered down. I had hoped for a more robust flavor and richer broth. Still good but they also could've given more broth. The mussels on the top had less flavor vs the ones sitting on the bottom. The fries were a generous portion and great for sharing. They were crisp and somewhat firm, good satisfying crunch. Wait staff and servers were all friendly and hospitable. This is a pet friendly restaurant so that makes this a great spot if you are a pet owner. The tables were nicely spaced out so you were still just far enough away to have your own conversation. And yet the space felt filled. Loved the heating lamps and garden decor in the front where we sat. Drinks were definitely strong, which I didn't mind at all. I've been to the Wilson 3 or 4x now. Always for brunch. It's located close to my regular hotels and they always have spots open for reservations. I love sitting in the glass enclosed room full of greenery. You could almost forget that it's winter and -3° out. It's food and it gets the job done, but I'm never blown away. I'm mostly going there because you can spontaneously eat there, it's in the neighborhood, and I don't really care about what I eat for breakfast. Just as easy spot to choose. I've ordered eggs Benedict a couple of times. Both times, I got an overcooked egg. It's not a Benedict if the yolk isn't runny. Today I ordered the salmon bagel with tater tots. The tots were perfect. I don't usually splurge on those, but I'm glad I did. The bagel itself was okay. The cucumbers, cream cheese, capers, and smoked salmon were great I also ordered a Bloody Mary. It was verrry peppery. The most peppery bloody I've ever had. It was good, but hard to completely finish. Will I be back? Yeah. For all the reasons I listed above. My friend and I were looking for a place to get dinner after visiting Poster House on a Friday night and discovered this hotel restaurant. We had a great, attentive waiter who made some menu suggestions. My friend ordered the falafel salad, which she loved: lots of variety on the plate and very filling. Her one complaint was that the tahini would have worked better on the side. I had the fried chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips. The sandwich was well made (the ingredients didn't make the pretzel bun soggy) and the chips were nice and crisp. I thought they would have been enhanced by a little sea salt or salt and pepper. Despite being a hotel restaurant, the kitchen isn't open much past 9:30 and the restaurant closes at 10. I think at least on Friday nights and weekends it should be open later since this is Chelsea. Nice little lunch spot in NYC! I met a friend at The Wilson for lunch on a Friday afternoon this summer and we had a great experience. We made a reservation, but on this particular day it wasn't necessary -- the space was pretty empty on both inside and the patio. We sat on the covered patio and decided to try one of the summer cocktails, the green thumb, complete with vodka, elderflower, basil, lemon, and moscato d'asti. This was SO delicious and refreshing! I really enjoyed it. To eat, I went with a chicken caesar wrap and fries. I really liked this as well! I hadn't had a caesar wrap in a while, and this one hit the spot. First they made us feel very welcome and actually produced "Wilsons Dog Menu" which had an interesting display of treats for your dog and even though we didn't order anything from it they brought my wife's service dog, Tucker, a bowl for water and two small dog treats. The service was outstanding w/ the staff paying just enough attention to make you feel cared for w/o them feeling overbearing. The food was EXCELLENT. I had the fish and chips w/ an extra order of tartar sauce and that was fantastic. I think the tartar sauce was probably home made in house. The fish was cooked perfectly. My wife got a burger (I can't remember which one) which looked fanatastic and she said tasted is good as it looked (she was surprised that they didn't ask her how she wanted it cooked) but that turned out not to be a big deal it was cooked very good. We started with the Brussels Sprout Tacos (Thai chili, pepper jam, caramelized yogurt) and they were DELICIOUS. The shells were crispy, the ingredients were creamy, sweet, and I enjoyed every bite. The perfect starter. My entree was the Double Patty Burger (pat lafrieda aged beef, American cheese, b+b pickles, black pepper mayo). This burger was juicy, kept its form throughout every bite, and I substituted their Market Salad instead of the fries. SUPER cute piece! My family and I decided to check this place out tonight for dinner while visiting NY. It's a super cozy place with covered "patio" seating, which is where we sat. There's a decent sized bar with seating. The hostess was super friendly and sat us right away (we had a reservation). Our server was SO nice and helpful when we asked him different menu questions. He did a great job clearing plates and giving us refills. The food was awesome! We started with the crispy tuna rice & wings. The tuna app was amazing. It had so much flavor and I loved the little kick. The wings were perfectly cooked and had excellent flavor. The only downside was that we had to have ranch (they were out of blue cheese), which was sort of flavorless. I got the pasta and the portion was huge! We came here while visiting some friends in New York. We arrived as a group of humans and dogs. Their outdoor terrace was dreamy, and the space was very accommodating of dogs. Practically every table had a dog at it. The food and drinks were amazing. The decorations on the outdoor seating area was nice; however, they couldn't sit us there because of the reservation, so we ending up sitting indoors. My friend's order was not good. First they gave her the wrong sides and we had to ask for tater tots again. Second her bagel was soggy. How can a bagel be soggy?! It was because they put pickled onions and they were still dripping wet. It wasn't a cheap bagel so I was extremely disappointed. On top of it, they barely checked up on us because we were indoors. We asked for the bill and we got it few minutes later. I knew they were going to take forever to get back to us so we paid online. The receipt said we can scan and pay online, so that's what we did. My friend paid on her phone and we got a digital receipt. After that, we left. Nobody said anything so I thought we were good to go. Several minutes later, as we were walking towards ktown I got a call from the restaurant. They said we didn't pay the bill and I explained we paid online and got the receipt. They said maybe the server didn't explain to us how it worked. But they were supposed to get a notification on their computer that we paid and they didn't receive anything. So we had to walk back to see what's going on. We went out of our way back to show them our online receipt and waited for them to figure out the payment. Just for them to tell us that they had to restart their computer and we had to wait AGAIN!! Few minutes later, they got our payment. The server apologized to us once but I was extremely upset. This was a waste of our time and calories. I wanted to give a one star for this place but my friend said she would give a 3 star, so I averaged our ratings. A great place to meet friends! They have great happy hour deals at the bar which we did not partake but I look forward to coming back to try it! We started with the margherita flatbread to share which was yummy. For my main, I got the seared tuna platter which came with cous cous, chopped salad, and a chimichurri sauce which was delicious. A true dog friendly restaurant housed inside The INNside Hotel in New York City. There is a designated area where humans with their pets were gonna be seated. I heard that this section opens up on warmer days. But at this time on February, it was warm and cozy, not to mention beautifully decorated. I've seen a cute schnauser, a maltepoo and a yorkshire terrier, behaving so well. Wait staff were so nice, and so professional. Sweet and sour Crispy Calamari was my favorite among the starters we had. I tried one of their mocktails, too- pineapple ginger and lime fizz. An enjoyable concoction, while my daughter tried Fiona's Apple- which was pleasant as I've tried its diluted leftover, lol. I ordered the Fish and Chips but let me tell you, their Double Patty Burger was formidable. So flavorful in one bite. I wish they had soup though. The Wilson located in the INNSiDE by Meliá New York NOMAD had very nice ambience. Located right when you walk into the hotel to your right. We went around 9 am on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. They had a decent menu for breakfast. I got a croissant with egg and cheese and swapped out the ham for turkey sausage, it also came with a salad. And I got a side of the crispy potatoes which were so good. I also got an orange juice that tasted so fresh. And I actually really liked the croissant it was nice and soft and the egg inside was so yummy. We sat in this inside patio and it was really nice, beautiful ambience with flowers every where and they had heated lamps so it was nice and toasty. If you're staying in the hotel I definitely would come here for breakfast, it was quick and easy. Though towards the end they got a little busy and we had to go so we had to find the server to check us out. Overall was a good experience though. read more

Brussel sprouts were soggy and didn't have the best flavor. We got a third app - the crispy rice tuna. It was solid. I've had some that were better and some that were worse. This is right in the middle. Solid but not a standout per se. A few of us for the steak frites and it was really good. One of my coworkers steak was over cooked but the rest of us were all medium rare. Someone got mussels and another got the branzino. Mussels were a hit. The branzino was probably the least favorite of the meal. I didn't have any but it tasted really fishy and we weren't sure if it was a bad dish. She just ate the veggies. I came here for a dinner with my brother, his wife who was in from Arizona, along with a few of my cousins who live in New York and New Jersey. We had a surprisingly great experience. Our waiter Carlos really owned the business and he is someone I would consider for management. He was personable, attentive, did not rush us and really showed he cared about the client and the business he works for. The restaurant is located in the hotel, is clean, modern and spacious. You can dress as you want, its dog friendly the converted outside space which is a plus or minus for done. The food was good quality, freshly prepared, fairly priced for Manhattan or NYC and portions were adequate. It has a good vibe, is located a few blocks from Penn Station which is convenient if you don't have a car or do not want to deal with parking. We shared several appetizers including the Crispy Brussel sprouts which a lot of people do not like although these were great. We also ordered a few of the Ahi tuna flatbread, my personal favorite. We also had the pizza that I think they list as Margarita flatbread. For mains we had the seared tuna pasta special, the salmon, the double burger, the 12oz pork chop, seared tuna dinner, the spinach ricotta ravioli, and the "whole grilled Branzino/ open face head to tail". (You have to see my photo lol). Really excellent taste although you may want to ask them to take off the head and tail first. For desert we had a few orders the cookie skillet which was my favorite and the gelato. They have several dining and bar spaces upstairs and downstairs. Sunday brunch We sat in bright and airy enclosed atrium abutting the street. Ample radiant heat for this 45° day. - The Crab Benedict is fantastic. Perfectly poached eggs on top of excellent crabcake. I applaud chef's decision not to complicate things by putting bread or a muffin under the crab cake. - The tots that come with the crabcake are archetypically perfect. Light, crisp. - The "med bowl" includes avocado, hummus, cucumber and tomato salad. I think the hummus is lovely, but my lovely counterpart comments that it has more cumin than she would like. Overall she was pleased: "I would get it again." - The cocktails were anemic: very light pours on the base liquors. - Service was impeccable! read more

food (4/5) had the brick chicken and the fried chicken sandwich, and shared the tuna crispy rice app. the app was great, came with 4 pieces and seasoned very well. spicy but also flavourful, and didn't set your tongue on fire. brick chicken had absolutely amazing seasoning especially on the crispy skin, and the edges of the chicken were perfectly moist with a good fat to lean meat ratio. fried chicken sandwich was the best execution with the slightly sweet pretzel bun contrasting well with the punchy spicy sauce. chicken was moist and breading was crispy, bun did not soak through. service (5/5) - helped accommodate us on short notice when it was pouring out, and with a dog also. appreciate the attentiveness. price (3/5) - a little upscale for gastropub food. read more

A friend and I visited here for a networking event on a weekday. We very much enjoyed the cool environment and welcoming staff. It's a pretty restaurant to dine at and just enjoy your time. I'm such a fan of the vivid decor in the restaurant; I felt as thought it adds a nice glam to the overall experience. This time around I was able to try a few glasses of rosé as I vibed with good company and good choices of music. I so definitely would like to visit again and try the food. read more

3rd time at the Wilson and it's always a pleasant experience. I bring my dog noodle with me to my visits here and they are very accommodating and friendly to your fur babies. Food is standard, nothing to write home about but always decent. I'll be back for a dog friendly brunch and it's connected to a pet friendly hotel in which I've stayed with noodle and it's really nice! read more
