As promised, the new Andersen windows and doors across the back of our house have reduced road noise by approximately 70%, which was our primary reason for replacement. The glass is 75 feet from a 45mph roadway, the dramatic reduction in noise has been impressive. Very expensive, but then the best usually is. We also replaced several windows on the sides of the house that were functionally in much worse shape. To be clear upfront, I have not engaged them in an installation, I am rating on their extremely aggressive sales tactics. I submitted an online request for a brochure or sample pictures for inspiration and some ballpark costs pretty late one evening and they called within minutes. I let it go to voicemail so they called twice more and then sent me a text. I replied the following morning to say that I was at a very low commitment phase and not planning anything until next year. They said they don't provide quotes by phone, everything is custom so they have to visit and measure in person. So I indicated I was not interested in that. They asked me to confirm where I lived so they could verify they serviced my area (which has already been established via the web form), then asked for my address. At that point I stopped replying. They have since called my phone 2 or 3 times a day, every day FOR WEEKS! I blocked their number but I can still see when it called and they are still calling 2 or 3 times a day 3 weeks later. Extremely disappointed with Renewal by Andersen and their customer service. We paid a premium price for what is advertised as a premium product and service, but our experience after the installation has been anything but premium. Our windows were installed in February 2026, and SIX MONTHS LATER we are still trying to get a simple window screen corrected. They have been out three separate times, and they still cannot get it right. I contacted customer service about this issue back in February, and the lack of follow-up and returned phone calls has been unacceptable. Today they came out yet again with another screen, and unbelievably, this one does not even properly lock into the window. If Renewal by Andersen cannot successfully resolve a SCREEN issue after six months and three service visits, what confidence am I supposed to have if something actually goes wrong with one of these very expensive windows? That is what concerns me the most. These windows are a significant investment, and part of what you are paying for is the reputation, warranty, and service behind the product. Based on my experience so far, I have serious concerns about whether they would actually be there if I had a major window or warranty issue. Repeated service appointments, poor communication, calls that are not returned, and months of waiting for the same simple problem to be corrected is completely unacceptable for a company charging premium prices. Andersen sent their service manager Zach and Cody to look at our windows and said nothing was wrong with them. They said the cold drafts we felt from the expensive windows were "normal." Zach said the cold air results from the laws of physics, convection of room air, etc. None of it explained why we replaced 20-year-old windows that leaked cold drafts and replaced them with new Andersen windows that also created cold drafts and cost us over $60K! One of them tried to make us feel better by saying the new windows would save us money during the hot summer. I reminded him I bought the windows for all four seasons, not one. This is not the quality and service we expected from this company. If the Andersen salesperson Kris Riggs told us to expect cold drafts to occur, we would never have signed the contract. I produced a video documenting this draft problem with the Andersen windows, so none of these problems are in our imagination. This video was shown to Zach and Cody. My father and I purchased 2 new doors and a new window. it took about 6 months for them to be put on. The worker took our storm door off to put our new front door on and waited until afterwards to tell us he could not reinstall our storm door because he would get in trouble because it's not an Andersen door. spoke with the manager and she apologized and told me she was going to try her best to get our storm door put back on. I waited a few days before calling back and the female regular associate had a condescending tone and once I said I was going to have to write a bad review she got an attitude and I had to put her in her place. I told her my father is elderly and he would not stand up for himself so that's why I am doing it for him and she said "we aren't against your father". Sure seems like taking advantage of the elderly to me. They also said putting our storm door on would affect the warranty of the new door? um sounds highly suspicious to me, but I made a good point in saying that this should be something disclosed up front and not told to us literally after the job was done. It has now been over a week that we've had no storm door. My father enjoys the extra protection and so do I of having the storm door. Female associate was totally unprofessional and condesending. manager seemed nice at first, but obviously was just telling me what I wanted to hear and had no intention of working anything out with us. Do not hire this company To do anything! They will not receive any more money from us ever! Very rude and unprofessional! Didn't even offer to give us a discount on one of their storm doors. I spent over $50,000 having all my windows and doors replaced by Renewal by Anderson. When I called Thursday to inform them I couldn't get out the front door of my home, the only access to the front of the house, they said they couldn't get anyone to fix their defective door until 6 days later. I expressed my concern about it being a fire hazard since I could only open the garage door to get out to the front yard in case of a fire or for any other emergency, but it made no difference. Renewal by Anderson still said it would still take 6 days before they could send someone to fix their defective door. I spent a huge amount of money after they promised they stood behind their self manufactured products with an extended warranty. But when it comes down to it, they have horrible customer service. Renewal by Anderson is Fantastic! We found them at Art in the Park and made an appointment for someone to come by and see the windows and explain their products. He was very thorough and made sure we understood everything. Very polite and professional. When the date came for the installation the guys that came were Amazing! Again everyone was professional and very polite. We did our best to try and stay out of their way. They put plastic up to replace a sliding door so the mess would stay contained. And in the end everything looked great. Everything was clean and well put together. They really know their products and how to install them. Now I know they can be a little pricey BUT you genuinely get what you pay for. The windows and doors block a lot of the outside noise and we can already tell the difference in the temp of the rooms. So they're gong to be very energy efficient. I 100% recommend Renewal by Anderson. My house looks better than it did the day we moved in. read more

We had a shorter sliding glass door installed. The wall above the door had to be filled in with plywood, drywall, & had to be texturized to match the rest of the house. The outside had to be re-wired and stucco added. They did an excellent job all the way around. Left the work area very clean. Door was expensive, but you have to take into consideration what the doors are made out of, the quality of the glass and the insulation. No other products on the market compare in durability & quality. read more

I had Renewal by Anderson replace 6 windows in my home. Two of the windows are fine. The other 4 have terrible condensation problems. Any time it gets cold outside these windows have lots of condensation. When it gets below zero, this condensation will freeze. The old windows never did this. I also have other older windows that were not replaced and they do not have condensation problems either. I have contacted Renewal by Anderson on this several times and sent them pictures. They insist this is normal and if there is a problem, it has to be with my house. I will never use Renewal by Anderson again! read more

Requested 3 indoor doors for large patio 1 sliding screen door . Salesman said that Renewal by Anderson would replace storm door which has a sliding (up and down) storm window. Cost, almost $18,000 !! I was foolish and fell for the sales pitch! One month later salesman called to tell me they could not replace the storm door with the sliding screen/glass window! We received a quote from Renewal by Andersen back in 2021 to replace our windows to more energy efficient windows. The sun sets on the back of our home so we only wanted to do the back side of our house to start but Anderson was very pushy with their sales tactics and only provided a quote for the entire house which was $39k (not including the sliding back door or French doors for the master bedroom). I was shocked it was so expensive and decided to not move forward. Fast forward to this week and a salesperson knocked on our door to try and sell us windows again. Keep in mind we live in a gated community with "No Soliciting" signs on our gates. Not sure how an Andersen employee got in but he did and was knocking on doors. The salesperson gave his pitch and I explained I'm not interested and the last quote I received was overpriced. He then went on to explain how the company was bought out and that our previous quote was pre-covid and the prices are better now with certain "deals" they are offering. I again declined and he just kept going on about pricing, energy conservation, he even made comments about our solar screens on the back of the home telling me how cheap those are and don't actually do anything. I am happy with our shutters and the solar screens. They actually help a good bit! The reason for this review is because of the pushy sales tactics of your employees along with talking bad about other options we have on our homes to keep costs down without paying you guys outrageous prices! When your salespeople are told "no" that's not an invitation to ask 10 more times and become more pushy. We had Andersen replace two sliders and 7 windows. I was happy with their sales and installation people. They did a great job and we are very happy with the windows and doors, they are top quality. We didn't do all our windows because Anderson is very expensive. A year later I got a price from another company (highly rated on Yelp) and the price was less than half of Anderson. Candidly the windows weren't the quality of Andersen but they are darn good and you can't t tell the difference unless you look really close. We live on a golf course and Anderson offered no breakage coverage and the less expensive company gave us a full warranty against golf balls ( which we haven't had to use). This review is for the sliding glass doors that replaced my French doors. During the sales process, I was emphatic that the sliding glass doors MUST be ADA-compliant. Of course, those "famous words" from a salesperson of "trust me" were utterly false. I should have pulled out my walker/tape measurer during installation and rejected the sliding doors immediately during installation. Silly me, I trusted the installers. Now I need to move furniture in/out of my casita, and I can't even get a basic single chair out the door. DO NOT REPLACE YOUR SLIDING GLASS DOORS WITH RNA sliders. Gigantic $12K mistake on my part. The purchase of our windows started out a bit rocky but the Sales Manager Jeff solved all of our problems in a timely manner. The best part was getting our windows installed. A team of 8 installers arrived on time and began installing this past week. They were the most professional and efficient installers I have ever seen. Each installer knew what their specific job was to remove the old leaky windows and put our new windows and sliding patio doors in. Although we didn't replace all our windows. On 2/13 we attended Andersen's dinner seminar at Spiedini's in Rampart Casino. There were only 10 of us in attendance & the dinner was described as "family style." The woman presenter was in her 20's & gave a canned speech right out of the playbook. There was not a Q&A session after, nor any camaraderie except going around attendees for appointments. We told her our schedule & that we were interested in replacing our 1987 windows. The "family style" as I know it from the Midwest means platters of food & lots of it. But not by Andersen. In fact, it was pitifully scarce & certainly not gourmet. We all kept wondering when food would be replenished, as we quickly passed around the small plate of fatty short ribs & not enough dessert for everyone. We have still haven't heard from Andersen, but when I called today to find the right person to write to (giving only my first name), lo & behold ! The person quickly said my last name & address. I am writing this review to make sure SENIOR CLIENTS shop wisely! Three came to the house and gave us quotes on several projects: 2 sliding doors, one window in San Francisco. We ended up changing our order due to the incredibly high price quoted for each product. There was a conflict with the City regarding one window installation so we wanted to cancel that one part of the order. We had already signed the contract but were told that was ok it could be amended. Yes, it could but apparently they rolled the original quote for 3 projects into 2 projects. While for the most part, we are happy with the finished windows, we felt that the sales person rushed us. Also, the contract was offered up to read on an 8x10 Ipad (hard to read). I never did get an actual hard copy of the contract! WHAT WE LIKE: 1)They offer a very high end, substantial product with a lifetime warranty. That used to mean something. (hopefully, the company will be around in 10-20 years to make it worth it!) 2) The installation team was fast and efficient although there is a small issue we are now trying to have corrected with one of the windows. WHAT WE DO NOT LIKE: Due to the high cost we decided to take them up on their offer of an 18 mos. interest free payment plan. This loan is NOT through Renewal but a company called Green Sky. I find the "Green Sky" website & monthly statements opaque & confusing. We were warned to pay off the loan early because the interest is outrageous if you miss the deadline. With the payments we've made, I notice that the processing is extremely slow so buyer beware if you go for the interest free loan route and If you pay by check (how old school!) allow two weeks for your payment to clear. read more

We bought a brand new build end of 2013. They installed the windows but not a year later the rubber seal on outside was coming off. It should be a very simple fix to reseal the rubber. Instead of coming out and fixing their shotty work, they rather send a huge outrageous quote of couple hundred $$$ to fix their miss up -.- We asked a third party and they said $30 to get it sealed. I hate when companies tries to profit off their mistake and shotty work. Terrible service and terrible company. There's a reason why they only 3 stars out of all the window companies in Las Vegas. The prices were way out of site to replace just 5 of the 11 windows it was also stated that I'd be better off without their buy 1 get 40% off the 2nd the estimate was well over $74,000.00 to replace 11 windows and just a 10 yr warranty I went to Milgard windows with a lifetime warranty and all 11 windows priced at 10,000.00 would NOT recommend Anderson Windows to anyone read more

The Quote was Sky High and when we said that we could not afford to do that, the sale person suggested that we take out a home equity loan to do it. So arrogant and pushy. Actually made us feel bad about the age of our beautiful home. The reason that I am finally writing this review is because , somehow, I have found myself on their email list and not mater what I do, I continuously receive SALES emails from them.
