Updating my review to include that my nail chipped after 24 hours and where the gel polish came off you can see there is no builder gel under it. Upon looking very close it looks like the builder gel stops and doesn't go to the tips of my nails on most of them so they'll likely mostly chip. I just don't have it in me to go back and deal with the attitude of the front desk again. So unfortunately I'll have messed up nails that I paid 80$ for.

So after a year of not taking care of my feet and hands I finally decided to come get it taken care of . So after reviewing some local areas this one was highly rated so decided to stop by . First and foremost shout out Ngyuen for the great customer service today upon arrival . Lilly and Thursday are the ladies that took care of me and definitely want to say they deserve a 10/10 Lea and Nancy took care of my wife as well they deserve a 10/10 ! So let's start of with customer service overall it's a 10/10 the patience they had with us was over the top our 8 month old woke up midway and I believe it was Lilly that helped grab my son and pass him to me thank you very much the vibe here also is a 10/10'the complimentary drinks are a 10/10'the margarita was a hit !! Overall I give this spot a 10/10 . But let' me rate the pricing I won't lie I was upset a bit but I can't be mad at them or the establishment I should have checked before booking but the price for a manicure and pedicure I won't lie was crazy overly priced just in my opinion .. I should've asked for a better breakdown but I didn't it's a lesson learned . Will I return here again I won't lie more than likely yes will it be continuously probably not tbh just because of the pricing . But don't let my review deter you away they have a lot of choices for women when it comes to designs and the ladies here first impression they are very nice and patient !

Tai is my absolute favorite and always does an amazing job. It's so clean, open, and gorgeous inside. A lot of the stuff is pricey but they really do an outstanding job. My daughter loved getting her nails done for her birthday. I probably would not bring her back because for a 9year old gel polish with a little design ended up being $75 without the tip. I'd say this nail place is more for adults. Love that they offer drinks from water flavored teas to wine and mimosas.

Broken fourth nail. You can see the frayed nails under the polish which makes it look horrible. I could've done this at home.

So update - I went back a few weeks after my initial review. I spoke to the person up front and they only told me no drill would be used. The girl who did my nails listened and did seem to make them smoother. But I'm still highly unsatisfied. I wasn't offered a discount or anything other than no drill to be used on my nails. My nails are growing out but also because I use supplements and use a nail growth oil and polish now. I'll add pictures of my nails from today after taking the growth polish off, but they do have a serum on so they look more hydrated. You can clearly see the parts of my nails that were massively damaged. I will not be coming back.

I wanted to try the x nail because I live near this new place, I thought it was going to be a good place I took care of Kathy the truth she looked like she was lazy I had to ask her to make me an almond shape and she could never do it and in the end she ended up leaving my fingers all stained and sticky, I won't come back here they should have more professional nail technicians and that if they want to do their job

This was my first experiment here and they were able to accommodate me on a walk in on Saturday morning. Natalie my tech was very attentive and gave the best customer service I have had for pedicure in a while. They also surprised me with a complimentary drink. Prices are reasonable and the place is very clean. Music was at a perfect level and chairs were soft.

My first time at this salon. I normally do my own nails since I have found salons don't sanitize their tools or keep up with cleanliness anymore. I was scrolling through yelp and found this gem! I called last minute to make an appointment for my boyfriend and I for pedicures and they were able to take us in due to cancellations. I'd recommend making an appointment in advance as they get booked up. Everything about our experience was amazing. We were greeted and sat right away. They have a drink menu with a wide selection of beverages. They give you a nail menu and we ended getting the P1 and P2 option. I got the P1 which is the cheapest option and added gel for +15 and French tip +10. I'm very picky with my nails and like for them to be straight not rounded. My pedi came out the best I've ever had. My bf got P2 which included sea salt soak, sugar scrub exfoliation , callus remover, heal balm and a 7 min massage for a total of $110 for two pedicures. The chairs are very comfortable, the salon is pretty quiet so you can relax and the cleanliness of the salon is impeccable. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family. Will definitely be going back regularly. read more

Okay so it's been 2 weeks since I got my nails done from here. Backstory in a nutshell of my OLD nail salon: I had a regular nail tech that I would go to that is close to home. She's been busy so I got a different tech and my nails were not only botched, but the manager thought they were fine when I brought up the issue. I am a loyal customer and I am pretty understanding if people have an off day. We are all human. But I needed a new salon anyway since my old salon didn't have the Korean jelly gel colors that I wanted. The X Nail is fairly new but I went to give them a shot. They took me in as a walk-in on 2/17. I stepped into the salon and let me tell you: it is absolutely beautiful inside. I was greeted and offered a drink by the super kind staff in front. I got a mani-pedi with gel. The service was a whole experience! Flowers, wine, rose petals, scrub, foot+hand massage, steam machine and hot towel. The ladies here are super detail oriented and made sure I was happy with my nails before I left. (I showed them my old nails and they were so taken aback.) I am not only a nurse, but also a rock climber so my nails get pretty roughed up regularly. My skin also gets calloused and cracked very easily. The butter treatment on my skin (which was included in the package I got) was AMAZING. I haven't felt my hands this soft in years! Also, my nails are STILL INTACT! I'm not sure what coat they use but it is SOLID. I don't have any chips at ALL. I've been rock climbing even more recently because I'm getting ready for a competition in a few months. I've really been getting more comfortable in my soft-girl era and The X Nail gets a spot in my life. This salon is farther than my old one but WORTH it!! read more

First time customer and I am so happy with my experience! I had gel builder on from a different salon and needed to get it removed and wasn't sure what to do next and the lady at the front desk was super friendly and helped guide me on options that would be best for my nails. I really wanted to like this place because I live so close by, so much so that I gave it 3 different chances. But unfortunately, each experience was not any better than the previous one. 1st visit - Got a basic pedi. The pedi itself was decent, but the tech did cut me once. The cut wasn't that bad and I figured it happens, so I didn't think much of it because the rest of the pedi turned out fine. 2nd visit - Gel manicure. The tech cut me twice. She was very apologetic, but wouldn't you try to be more careful after the fist cut? She basically blamed it on my hands being small, which they are, but I saw that they offer kids manicures, so small hands shouldn't be an issue. Also, the gel manicure was meh. There was some dust or something that got inside so it was a little bumpy on some figures. 3rd visit - Gel manicure again. I thought maybe trying a different tech would do the trick, but nope. This tech cut me too, and it was the worst cut by far. While apologetic, this tech also tried to laugh it off by saying my hands are small. The gel was again just meh. Lots of polish and chrome powder were left on the side of my nails. Another thing is they're pretty pricey, especially for what you get. Maybe I haven't gone to enough nail salons, but I usually don't see an extra charge just for cutting/shaping nails. TLDR; techs are not good and not careful with cuticle cutting/cleaning. The quality of the gel manicures were very whatever. Not worth the expensive price. read more

Had an X1 pedicure by suri today.Made an appointment online - process was quick and easy . when i arrived i was greeted and was asked if i had an appointment - i said yes and checked in via thier tablet - waited less than 5 minutes and was greeted by the nail tech who had a warm smile and got to work confirming my services . Suri was very thorough , she took her time and was attentive to detail , she engaged in friendly convo and had outstanding customer service, she offered me complimentary beverages and continued to check in to ensure i was happy with each step of the service . Waited a while to post this because I wanted to see if the nails held up... and they lasted for so long. I got a regular full acrylic set, with french tips. She took everything I said into consideration. I also got a pedicure... also with french tips, but the lady who did my toenails didn't cut my nails enough and they grew so quickly so i had to cut my own nails and the design went away :( Overall, the manicure was perfect, no nails were crooked. And they ended up looking really nice and lasted about 1 month with out any nails falling off! In total, I spent around $150 bucks for both services! Would definitely go get my finger nails done again. Ambiance is really cute, and the chairs are very comfy! read more

*****Update ***** I received a call from Leslie. She claimed to be the manager. She started the conversation by saying the girl that replied to my yelp review is not associated to their business, she is." marketing." ‍ To be completely honest, she was all over the place with the conversation, and when I mentioned to her, her reply to me was yes I know I am. I'm not quite sure how someone like that is able to be a manager in an establishment like that. How did I expect for the other girls to communicate to me they were running late, if they were trained by someone like her? She continued to say that all she could do for me was offer me 50% off my next visit. I politely declined. My time is not worth way more than that. I'd say this place would be a 4 for the techs being nice and polite and they do a pretty good job. My problem is that the two times I've come to get an acrylic set and fill, they've used bits and files they just pulled out of a pile in their bins and put back in when they were done with me. She mocked my appearance, made comments about my relationship, and even made fun of a bruised toe I had, which was honestly humiliating. At one point, she commented on the price I was paying and implied I was "dumb" for it, which is completely unprofessional. I also offered to pay extra for a calf massage, and instead of accommodating or politely declining, she continued with the same dismissive and mocking attitude. On top of that, she made a comment suggesting I might not pay and joked about me going to jail, which felt extremely inappropriate and honestly intimidating. There were also moments where she spoke in another language while looking at me and laughing, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I came in expecting a relaxing service and left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are paying for a service.I would strongly recommend management addresses this kind of behavior immediately, because this is not acceptable in any professional setting.

I had the best experience at The X Nail. (: I went in for a manicure and a pedicure, both of which were amazing. Firstly, they have awesome customer service. I was warmly welcomed and offered a drink upon sitting down. The iced coffee was delicious and I was even asked multiple times if I needed more. All the nail techs and employees were kind and communicative. For example, Chloe, Tina, and Kate asked me questions about my preferences throughout my appointment. After I selected a nail color, Chloe would swatch it and show me how it looked like. This allowed me to make any changes if I decided it was not to my liking (although I loved the colors I chose and stuck with them--it was just nice being asked to make sure). Secondly, the services themselves were of great quality. I chose the recommended pedicure and felt so pampered! I got a gel manicure from Chloe and the hearts add-on came out so clean! I've been a client at this location since it first opened, and I've always appreciated the level of service it initially provided. Unfortunately, over time, a few of the more experienced nail technicians have moved on, so the overall experience can vary depending on who you're scheduled with. During my most recent visit, my technician, Owen, was not as courteous as expected, and the quality of my nails did not meet the standard I had experienced in the past. I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon today. My appointment was at 1:00 PM for a pedicure and a gel polish change for my hands. They started working on my nails, but it took a whole hour just to change the polish because the technician kept stopping to answer phone calls and take appointments. I wanted to try a new nail salon, so I came here for a Gel-X set. At first, I was happy with the…read moreresults and thought the technician did a good job. I got my nails done on the 4th, but by the 9th, one of my nails had already fallen off. That's only five days later. I wasn't able to come back until the 10th to have it fixed. When I arrived, I had to wait because the technician who originally did my nails wasn't there. They eventually seated me with someone else, and then we had to search for my nail color because they didn't have it on file, which was frustrating considering I had just gotten my nails done there. We eventually found a close match, and the repair itself only took a couple of minutes. While I was getting my nail fixed, there was a mop bucket full of water right next to my chair. One of the employees was wringing out the mop, and dirty water splashed onto me. Instead of apologizing, he laughed about it with another employee, including the person doing my nail. I stayed patient, didn't say anything, and waited until my service was finished, but that made me feel very uncomfortable and was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after the repair they charged me $10 to fix a single nail that had fallen off less than a week after my original appointment. I expected them to stand behind their work, especially since the nail came off so quickly. The person at the front was also rude and dismissive when I questioned the charge. Now, only six days after having that nail repaired, another nail has already broken. At this point, it's clear that the quality of the Gel-X application is not lasting as it should. I've never had this many issues with a fresh set of nails in such a short amount of time. The salon itself didn't appear as clean or well-maintained as other nail shops I've visited, and after this entire experience, I won't be returning. I was disappointed because my first impression was positive, but the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, the cleanliness concerns, and charging me for what should have been a warranty repair completely changed my opinion.
