Membership is much too high for this dump! It's filthy, poorly managed and does not have enough plates or clips for their machines and barbells. Their store front sized windows are just disgusting, inside and out! There has been a face mask under a machine for over a month now because employees never clean. Every concern I have had has been brought to employees attention but to no avail. The way they handle complaints is to lie in hopes to stay in business! They will not reinvest into the business as it falls apart! Many members are just as frustrated. You are better off going to a clean gym that has what you need available with a helpful and well trained staff that can actually stay off their phones or not take smoke breaks to help someone when needed. I've been working out at various gyms for more than 30 years and this place is truly a joke and embarrassment to the fitness industry. Son and his friend went in to try the place During the beginning of the Covid out break , The Person at the front desk told him there was a special to try the place for one month. He paid for a trial membership. One month. He didn't like it due to the exposure risk for our family and didn't return , months latter find out they were billing him for a regular membership and sent it to collection , He explained that he had not been going and it was a miss understanding , They held his credit hostage to get paid ! Pretty dirty business practices they have there !! I would not recommend using them! I am ashamed they are in our town. That's not how we do business in Epping! Their carpet is always dirty - I can't believe they don't vacuum more often. Weights are always strewed all over the floor and I've tripped a couple times!!! Never see a staff member walking around cleaning up weights around which are a serious hazard. Also I've never ONCE seen a staff member clean a machine. Apparently they depend on members to clean which is ridiculous. They're often out of cleaning supplies at more than one station. They are missing several common machines. They're only competitor is planet fitness (lowest tier) and they're losing. read more

Gym is great, atmosphere, equipment and staff. Back office to cancel is horrible, lack of communication and conveniently not receiving emails on cancellation forms. Worse gym experience to cancel and charged on 2 accounts during Covid and not credited... read more

First the facility is not bad but would consider it average and more expensive than planet fitness. Plus you get hit with a maintenance fee once a year. The real problem is in canceling. Not only are you hit with a cancelation fee, you are charged for the full month no matter when you cancel. read more

Nice Gym but lacks enough equipment for a truly great experience. Decent amount of treadmills, only 2 steppers. 1 piece of equipment for most body parts. Including 1, yes 1 bench, 1 cable cross over station, 1 preacher curl & no Olympic preacher curl bars. The most maddening thing is that they lack paper towels - Really? Even planet fitness provides them! Unfortunately, I know several people that go to Derry just to avoid this gym. They can do much better, but after more than a year it doesn't seem so. Pros and cons. Pros: commuter friendly, affordable @ $25 per month, Thursday 430 yoga teacher is excellent, decent parking availability. Cons: rude owner, small space for classes, trying to turn left onto 125 South at rush hour is unsafe without a traffic light or other means of egress, along with an ineffective system to book classes- -you register for class online via a mindbody app that isn't easy to find (I've used at other fitness centers without issues) + you have to check-in upon arrival to get a class pass?? Its a hassle and a deterrent. Sales staff is friendly but use shady, outdated practices. Specifically: just post the prices online! Also, I overheard a potential member asking a sales rep about the free 7 day trial advertised on the corporate site and the staff member ignored his request and tried to get him to sign up as a member without the free trial - - they pulled the same with me when I asked for the free trial. These tactics are outdated, disrespectful of prospect's time, and come across as insecure in the value of your product. On the bright side, I'm super happy I joined because I love the Londonderry branch, but Epping has a lot of annoyances. read more

I drive an hour just to work out here. So friendly, staff is great, love the kids care new equipment and I love the fact they always have trainers on the floor. Everyone is so willing to help. I would absolutely recommend this gym to any of my friends and family. So worth the hour drive here! read more

I like the equipment and my trainer but the way they handle finances is abysmal. I recently got hacked and instead of letting me know they racked up seventy dollars worth of fees for me. When I signed up for personal training they were going through an ownership change. I was quoted a certain price but when I went back they increased it and charged me fifty dollars to have the amount put on my credit card. The man I spoke to was as fast talking and misleading a salesman as I've ever seen. He never told me I was signing up for a year commitment and that if I cancel before that they can take a years worth of fees. Absolutely horrendous. Be very cautious. read more

I have no complaints, the Zoo is my favorite gym. I feel so comfortable here and the staff are friendly. I have never had to wait too long to use something. If I would have to make one complaint it would be that the big workout zone room isn't always open due to classes other than that this place is great read more

The customer service is horrendous. When trying to cancel you find out that you have a one year contract that you didn't actually know about or a yearly maintenance fee 6 months after signing up and being hit with those fees, again that you didn't know about. There is never anyone there that can help you. And because you have a signed contract its your problem not theirs even though no papers were presented just sign the little electronic box. The owner is rude. It was a hassle to even get her contact information and even that is just the gyms general info. STEER CLEAR FROM HERE! read more

I suggest that everyone avoid this gym completely and seek alternatives. I don't trust this gym since the COVID pandemic since they have been absolutely terrible to deal with. I have attempted to cancel membership by sending a letter (as stated in the contract as the cancellation method) and the gym would not respond or recognize the receipt of my letter. It appears that the gym continued to charge me (and many other patrons) while being closed. The owner has even distributed member information with fictitious debts to various collection agency for those who could not pay for the gym while it was closed and is ignoring further attempts to discontinue membership. This is a clear example of dishonest business practice as the gym did not uphold their end of the contract, which stated that they are a "24 hour access facility", yet they are trapping individuals into a debt using this same contract. read more

Very convenient, clean, and affordable. The group classes and daycare add a great benefit to being a member at this facility. It is open 24 hours with scan card entry which make for no excuses to get in there! There are always wipes handy to clean equipment if staff doesn't beat you to it! Stay away, their billing practices are borderline fraudulent. After paying the annual fee upfront for basic gym services, which is what I wanted, I was consistently bugged to sign up with a personal trainer. I finally agreed to try ONE session since I had never worked with one before and typically liked doing my own workouts. Told them I'd try it but didn't want to commit. Attendant who convinced me to sign up said that was fine but I still had to sign the paperwork ( should have known right there and then, my stupidity). Showed up for my first session 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The trainer never showed up. One of the " managers" did basically a strength test to see what I was capable of. I told them I hadn't been to the gym in over a year, had weight to lose , and needed to go slowly. He contacted the guy who was supposed to be my trainer, set up another appointment. Again, that guy didn't show up at scheduled time. This time they found another trainer who was there and available. She never looked at my "chart", I told her my workout history and that I needed to go slow. Slow to a 57 yr old woman is completely different to a 20 something weight trainer. Ended up pulling a muscle. Called the next day and told them I did not want to continue with the personal trainer. Was told this was fine but couldn't be refunded for that months sessions. Fine, not happy but understood. I've now found out my credit card was charged the following month (June) and then not charged again until Oct and then Nov. I called them to find out why. Rep I talked to said I was signed up for personal trainer, I explained the story above. He looked up my contract and said " yeah we had a lot of problems with that guy who signed you up, he's no longer here for reasons like this". He didn't have authority to do anything but said he'd have manager call me back. 2 days no call so I called again, spoke to the same guy. Tells me manager is due in at 3, will have him call as soon as he gets in. By 4 no call so I call back, get the same guy, tells me manager in but busy, I expressed my displeasure, he puts me on hold, comes back and says they won't refund me but I have 12 weeks of personal trainer available to me. I repeat to him that I canceled it in May, didn't want it, and why wasn't I charged between July and Oct if I never called to cancel . He responded that I supposedly called in Sept to unfreeze my hold. Wrong. I hadn't stepped foot into the place since May. I was willing to forfeit the annual fee but not the $150 month personal trainer. He told me I could find a member at the gym who was willing to " buy" my 12 weeks. By this point I'm done. I call my credit card company to file fraud, they try to call the gym. They explain why they were calling and hung up on, twice. Filed complaint with BBB, gym responded saying they would refund the December payment. I never paid a Dec fee because I had my credit card block them from further charges, they have no idea what's going on with their own billing system. At this point haven't been refunded for anything and doubt I will. Much happier at Planet Fitness, better equipment, much more helpful and friendly staff, no hassles about signing up for extras . read more

Oh my God....I have NEVER in my life had such a rude interaction with a "professional" sales person. When I called to get prices for a basic membership for my daughter, and did not want to come for a tour, I was accused of being from a competitor's gym fishing for prices!!!! Nori was incredibly rude and for that, I ended up calling the corporate office. A call was returned to me and the woman in FL was equally as rude! It must be part of their culture. It's no wonder the parking lot is always empty when I drive by. I will NEVER entertain the thought of giving this place my hard earned money!!!! EVER! read more
