I had a rough day at work, but Trevor made sure everything was arranged so I could pick up my car after work, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. When I arrived, Kentrel handed me my keys, and after I mentioned that I'd had a bad day, he brought my car back freshly touched up and even had a cold bottle of water waiting for me. Those little things truly make a difference. These are the type of people who genuinely care, not just about taking care of your car, but about taking care of you as a person. After the kind of day I had, their kindness meant more than they probably realize. Thank you, Trevor, Kentrel, and the entire service team for going above and beyond!

How can you make an appointment and be there almost 3 hours. When it was done, I asked the advisor. How do I check my tires for the pressure and he didn't even know how to do that. He had to ask for one of the staff to help him . When they finally figured it out, my tires were a 27 and 28 way too low. They are supposed to be at 30 therefore they did not even check my tire pressure during the oil change which is part of an oil change. I wonder if they checked my fluids? I will never go back there. I was really horrified by the experience that I had. The advisor wasn't even nice about anything. Plus when I was done, he gave me the receipt. There was nothing on it like the fluid change or what they did or the air tire any other information. He said," oh yeah will text you that ", i never got that. Horrible horrible experience that I had.

I dropped off my vehicle at Nissan 777 Service for my 8:30 AM appointment for a multipoint inspection, synthetic oil change, and to determine if my vehicle was good to go for an upcoming road trip a few months ago, with Haley. There was only one person in the waiting area where I sat. The other area on the sales floor had a few more people sitting there but I don't know if it was for service or a car sale. The service bay was fairly empty and it wasn't very busy so I thought I would be out quickly. I answered an ad for "$50 off of any service at Nissan 777" and Kelly at Nissan initially set it up for me as well as arranging for my shuttle service. When I called to confirm the appointment and what I needed I reached Izzy, who let me know (after checking who this "Kelly" was as he could not find her at Nissan 777) that she was an AI. (Which is weird as "she" never identified as an AI which is something that I would expect from a professional organization). He also said that there was nothing so far set up, so Izzy took care of my appointment. He also said that Nissan took away the shuttle service about four to six months ago, but that it would only take about an hour to an hour and half so I should be fairly quick. While waiting, I had coffee (very clean setup) and I purchased a steering wheel cover at the Nissan 777 Parts and Accessories boutique on site and Andrea said she would have them put it on for me and brought it back to the service area. I inquired about my car near the end of the hour and a half time frame and they said that they would check for me. At 10:17 AM my car isn't finished yet. At 10:22 AM, Izzy came over to tell me that they would comp my oil change to make things right. At 10:30AM, while we talked, I saw the service department just driving my car into the service bay which had been and still was fairly empty except for a couple of cars! So nothing had even been started yet! Izzy was upset for me but by this time I was becoming frustrated as my time is valuable and the shuttle service would at least have brought me to a place where I could actually accomplish what I needed to to stay on schedule. There were no problems after that and my car was eventually serviced. -------------------------------- Another time I brought my car in and Izzy wasn't in date but he made sure to take care of me again and set me up with an incredibly knowledgeable and super service center representative, Brandi! Also , met the manager of this establishment and he let me know that whatever was needed on my end, he would make sure that it would be handled promptly and professionally. ---------------- There will always be hiccups along the way but I appreciate everyone's attention to detail here. They are personable and appear willing to go the mile and have proved it on many occasions, either in person or on the phone when I had a quick question. They don't talk down to you and are patient and courteous, and willing to take responsibility when they screw up. I guess the only complaint I have at this point is that I really would appreciate a shuttle service. They said they stopped it because people were abusing the free ride. The way to put a stop to that is to NOT allow their clients to demand that the driver take them on errands. If they do they should charged for the additional mileage plus a trip/service charge as that can be recorded. These instructions can also be included in the service agreement clients sign off on before they give the keys to the service department. Any of these charges can then be added to the final bill. I find it very sad and frustrating that the few inconsiderate people are making it harder for everyone else.

Service Experience -- 8/24-8/25…read more 8/24: I brought my truck in for what should have been a very simple oil change. While I was there, the service advisor strongly recommended that I have the multi-point inspection done as well. No problem. I was told the entire process would take approximately 1.5-2 hours, tops. Well... that estimate aged about as well as a gallon of milk left in the Nevada heat. After waiting over two and a half hours, one of the people from the service desk finally came over and told me there was an issue. Apparently, the technician assigned to my truck cross-threaded a lug nut onto the wheel stud and snapped the stud off inside the wheel/rim. So, instead of leaving with my truck after an oil change and inspection, I left without my truck and had to pay out of my own pocket for an Uber ride home. Not exactly the complimentary experience I was hoping for. 8/25: The next morning, I received a call informing me that they needed to locate a replacement part, with an estimated 2-3 day ETA. Today also happens to be my 37th birthday, so naturally, having my truck unexpectedly stuck at the dealership for several days was exactly how I planned to celebrate. Later, the service advisor called back and said they had located the part and that my truck should be ready around 1:00 PM. Great! Problem solved, right? Nope. I received another call letting me know that the truck would not be ready by 1:00 PM after all. Because the lug/stud had been cross-threaded and then snapped inside the wheel, they now had to drill it out in order to complete the repair. So, once again, I had to pay for my own transportation back to the dealership. At this point, I'm being put into a rental vehicle for an unknown number of days because a vehicle that came in for an oil change now requires additional repair work due to damage that occurred during the service itself. And honestly, that's the part that bothers me the most. I understand that mistakes can happen. Things break. Mechanical problems come up. That's part of working on vehicles. But cross-threading a lug nut onto a wheel stud and snapping the stud inside the wheel is a workmanship issue, in my opinion. The threads should be properly aligned before applying force, especially when dealing with a component that is being tightened onto a wheel. If something as basic as properly starting and aligning a lug nut isn't being done correctly, it naturally makes me question the quality and care being put into the rest of the work. At this point, I'm seriously wondering if I would have been better off taking my truck to a damn Jiffy Lube, getting the oil changed, and being on my way in 30 minutes. Instead, I brought my truck in for an oil change and an inspection and somehow ended up with: A broken wheel stud A repair that wasn't originally needed Multiple unexpected delays Two Uber rides that I'm paying for myself A rental vehicle for an unknown amount of time And a birthday spent dealing with dealership service issues That's quite a lot of adventure for an oil change. I sincerely hope the repair is completed correctly and that the dealership takes responsibility for the inconvenience and additional expenses this situation has caused. I brought my truck in expecting routine maintenance--not to have a simple service turn into a multi-day ordeal.

I've worked in auto and tech for a few decades, including as a senior executive (and for a few automakers), so I've had the chance to work closely with several dealers over the years. Not to mention, I've purchased a few cars during that time! In all my years working with dealers, this was genuinely one of the most seamless, pleasant and professional experiences I've had. I found the car through Porsche Finder, so the initial outreach to John was completely cold. I also contacted several other dealers simultaneously, most of which were in California, where I live. Hands down, John was far and away one of the best sales folks I've dealt with. And while the deal was very competitive, I primarily chose Gaudin because I knew I could trust John to execute cleanly from start to finish. It's also worth mentioning Matt Dagostino in finance, and Tony, who delivered the car, both of whom helped make the overall experience smooth and easy. Gaudin has a model that is totally dialed in. Well done, Team Gaudin! Thanks to the team there and special thanks to John and the folks I worked with for a really great experience.
