I came to Dr. Gregorious with a serious rotator cuff issue. I had no idea how serious till Dr Gregorious showed me the MRI and how massive the tear was, I was actually borderline needing a shoulder replacement! Yikes! But Dr. Gregorious said he would give it his best shot to repair the cuff thru surgery, which was my request. Just the way he approaches and explains his procedure instantly makes you feel at ease. The before and after pictures were a miracle for sure! My Cuff is holding up by literally a thread but Dr. Gregorious and his team saved me a great deal of limitations and it is healing very well. Like everyone else on here commented, he is a sincerely caring doctor! He makes you feel so confident and to me?, cares more about your recovery then you do, if thats possible. I was recommended to Dr Gregorious from a friend who had a reverse shoulder surgery. I didn't know much about reverse shoulder surgery and quite frankly I was not looking for that type of surgery. My cuff wasn't in that bad of shape but I had worn out the rest of my shoulder. Dr Gregorious took pictures and had a MRI ordered. During the meeting in his office he showed me a reverse shoulder and a anatomic total shoulder repair. He clearly indicated I had a good shot for a anatomic repair for which I wanted, but he wouldn't know until he was inside my shoulder. I am now about 3 months post op with my new anatomic shoulder doing great. I can't say enough about Dr Gregorious caring personality and a person who will spend all the time you need discussing the situation with you. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Loma Linda University graduate and the Hoag Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Gregorius is my hero and literally reinstated order and happiness in my life. My story began with bilateral hip dysplasia which led to two hip replacement surgeries. While both surgeries were successful and I no longer had pain in my hips, I unfortunately (due to no fault of my surgeon) ended up with iliopsoas impingement which basically meant I had hip flexor pain whenever I tried to lift my legs. Imagine my discomfort and frustration after enduring two serious surgeries just to welcome an entirely new world of pain and limited mobility. I felt like a complaining hypochondriac, trapped in a dark future until I spoke with Dr. Gregorius. He was quick to diagnose my symptoms and got me on his calendar for surgery within weeks. He went out of his way to thoroughly explain what the procedure entailed (he even drew pictures) and took the time to answer all of my many questions. I was unable to sleep at night and wasn't able to do the activities I like to do. Dr. Gregorius spent an ample amount of time with me, examining and discussing my symptoms. Dr. Gregorius referred me for an MRI and requested I follow up after the imaging. After my MRI, Dr. Gregorius spoke at length with me, going into detail about my shoulder diagnosis and discussing treatment options. He discussed the risks and benefits of all my options, surgery included, along with my medical history to make sure we made the right call. Together we moved forward with an injection. I am a 62 year young man who was in need of medical intervention on my left shoulder. I had a fall on a set of concrete stairs and I knew there was some structural damage done. I tried rubbing dirt on it, telling myself I'm not really hurt and yes...even resting! None of theses actions worked. In 2011 and early 2012 I had two surgeries on my right shoulder. The second surgery was a "salvage job" leaving me with no cartilage and two thirds of the rotator-cuff is gone. The pectoral muscle was detached and moved to a higher position to stabilize the shoulder. Today, I am still in enormous pain with that shoulder (pain management). NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS...I asked and checked around about the best surgeons in the area and found Dr. Ted G. I went in met him and knew this was the guy who could help me with my left shoulder, I had a MRI the next day. This confirmed what I had thought --- two massive tears all the way though and considerable amount of debris including bone, cartilage and dare I say arthritis. Ted and his team (including the office staff, surgical team) did a spectacular job with everything. My recovery continues to great and at a record pace, I have full ROM (range of motion) which is absolutely amazing. If I had another shoulder, I'd have him work on it IF NEEDED.
