I trusted Michael and had him ship them to me; I didn't even need to come in; it was a very premium experience. The second time I purchased a suit, the experience was exactly the opposite. The woman who helped me seemed uninterested. She really didn't want to help at all. Given her brash, unenthusiastic behavior, I was hoping to go through the process myself, so I asked if she could pull up the profile Michael had made for me. Turns out they only save the customer measurement details for a year now. Seems ridiculous to save money on basic data storage rather than keeping customer records to expedite and provide good service. When I was trying on the suit, I felt rushed, and she never made me feel confident, which is always appreciated when making a big-ticket purchase. She didn't show me options or explain anything beyond saying the old color I had was no longer available, and the one I was holding was the new version they carried. When I received the suit 2 weeks later, the alterations were sloppy as well. Loose threads and not packed well. You'd think it was a $200 means warehouse rental I received. Just got another suit this month and found out I can get a made-to-measure custom suit in Soho for 30% less! They lost a lifetime customer, as I have been buying suits from Nordstroms since I lived in Chicago starting in 2014.

The downside is that the dressing rooms don't have a seat inside and due to a knee injury i had to wait a long time for the only stall to become available. The dressing room area is extremely busy and the staff appeared overwhelm with the consumption of clothes left behind by customers. The space in the store is good, nothing appears cluttered or scattered and the floors are kept clean. Needed to use the restroom and that is also an area that only has one per gender and the lines become a bit much. Due to the restrooms overuse it definitely requires additional cleaning to maintain it clean and stocked with toiletries. Overall ok experience, I was not asked if I needed assistance by a staff member.

Americans are still getting bigger despite ozempic and are here to stay. Nordstrom has already done away with their plus size section in store and Macy's was one of the few places left to shop in person. It is very disappointing to see this happening and very fat phobic of Macy's.

After just 3 months, one of the shirts developed a huge tear--not even at the seam, but right in the middle! I only professionally dry clean all the shirts, so it's highly unlikely this happened due to poor cleaning techniques. The shirts from other brands are holding for years. This is my new favorite store…read more I love places that sell slim fit shirts with no pockets. Here you can get them without spending $150+ per shirt. I like Hugo Boss, Pink etc but at CT I can get 4 shirts for $200. There suits and ties are also reasonably priced. I am going to do some serious damage here.
