Wow wow wow. Where do I begin? The sun soaked, exceptionally clean, and modern salon itself or the amazing people that run it? From front desk, to stylists choosing Theory to go from brunette to blonde was the BEST choice I could have made for my hair and my soul. Everyone gets nervous when they try a new salon but when you're greeted with smiling eyes (masks required - thank you) from every person you walk by it instantly puts you at ease. They're consultation process is superb, I was not evaluated during my consultation- instead it was a conversation. I got to meet my stylist and talk about my hair goals and the way she hyped me up made me so excited to return. Post consultation it took about a week to get scheduled (no more waiting 3 months to get scheduled like at other salons) and when I arrived day of - my stylist knew me, knew the plan but was sure to ask if anything had changed and if I had any preferences for the day. I was never passed off from stylist to wash specialist, to blow dry bar etc. my stylist and her assistant were the ones who put in the work which I appreciate. Everyone is just so kind, welcoming, and helpful I can't praise them all enough. I worked with Abigail and Brittany was her amazing assistant. Abigail is a hair god. I dont know how Orlando got so lucky. This is talent we see out of New York or L.A. so if you want to feel like one of the badass models from Rihanna's Fenty promo on Amazon. GO HERE. I loveee this place! I've been here twice since I moved here from California and I'm pleased with both visits. Since I'm not very familiar with the area nor knew anyone to turn to for my hair needs, yelp and IG helped me select this place as my new home for my hair. I'm definitely glad I did! The salon gives off a chic and non-judgmental vibe and welcomed me with open arms. I went once last year and had an appointment with Alexia after someone literally botched my long bayalage blonde hair!!! I was mortified!! Alexia is the definition of cool, calm and collected. She assessed the situation and helped me fix my long locks. Well I told her to chop it off and she happily obliged. I was first in shock of how much blonde I chopped off but I reassured her i'll come back to have her get me back to blonde ( I have yet to do so... I hope so soon!!) I came back during Covid for another cut and met up with her again and she was as nice as ever and happy to catch up. Though we had to follow CDC guidelines, I still enjoyed my time there at the salon. Definitely my new spot to care for all of my hair needs. Check them out! I don't have enough words to describe the Theory Salon family and I say family on purpose. Never in my life have I ever walked into a place and felt so at ease. From the moment you walk in the door everyone greets you with such kindness and respect and the energy of the salon is an instant mood booster! The fact that the staff takes COVID precautions so seriously speaks volumes about their desire to take care of both their clients and one another. I really love this Salon! If you're a new client please be patient, trust me it's worth the wait! After you get your consultation and actually get your hair done you'll be so happy you came here. These ladies are artists and are really passionate about hair and what they create for each and every one of their clients. My hair stylist is Abigail and she is a master of color! She has an amazing way of balancing your desired look, with keeping the health of your hair in focus! I'm very picky about my hair and not an easy girl to please. I started out as a brunette and Abigail gave me the most beautiful blonde balayage and trim. I have very fine hair with some hair loss due to years of wearing hair extensions. I started going to Abigail in May and she didn't disappoint, my hair looks fuller & better than ever! Brittany is her assistant and is another super talented gem, getting ready to embark on her own stylist journey and after the tutelage from Abigail she's going to crush it! I have extremely fine, very oily hair, and had a horrific experience with another salon in South Orlando a few years ago using a razor on my hair despite me asking several times not to. Both my husband and I ended up with Sarah after a few other appointments here and there, and we followed her from her last salon to Theory. Theory has more than exceeded my expectations. The owner is the sweetest human being, the amenities are extremely clean and well thought out, and they instated safety measures quickly to make sure all of their stylists were safe and could work instead of closing down. All of the stylists are extremely talented, and it seems like one big family. Sarah has maintained my hair style, and also has done an incredible job maintaining my teal color, she's always got cool ideas for new cuts and color ideas up her sleeve. I love letting her do her own thing with my hair, knowing for a fact that a razor is never coming for my ends and I'd still be within Disney Look guidelines before I was furloughed. I started seeing Erin Mills four years ago after stalking her on Instagram for several months! We first met and consulted about my hair, which made me truly feel like I wasn't just another client in her chair. She cared about what I wanted and was willing to answer all of my questions before the big day! I have had great experiences at this salon and they do great work but my last visit was terrible customer service. This is why I am not coming back. I come all the way from Tampa to drive to the salon that took me about two hours because of traffic. I was thirty minutes late and even though it was my first time being late and I called them as soon as realized, they still overcharged me for being late to the service. I just felt that was unfair and that it showed how little they cared for me as a client. I was late also because my hairstylist abruptly changed my appointment time the day before and I didn't realize there would be so much traffic at that time. I just feel uncomfortable coming here now seeing how easily they overcharge individuals. Customer service in a salon is important and it is very poor quality at Theory. read more

I've been coming to Theory Salon for a year now and I've been treated with nothing but respect, support, and kindness over that time. They're welcoming, and make you feel like you've known them forever. All the stylists take their time to get you to the look you want to achieve! Which is why consultations are required, it made ME feel secure in what was going to be done, how much it was going to cost, how long the process would take etc. These stylists put in the time and work and it shows. I highly recommend going to Theory Salon and getting to know all the awesome stylists there. I drive 45 minutes there and back to my house just to go here. I am a natural red head and I finally decided that I wanted to put some color in my hair. I went to the salon with an inspiration picture in hand and showed it to my stylist Star. She looked at the picture and adapted it to make it work for my natural hair color and it turned out better than I could have ever dreamed! I was a little nervous about putting color in my hair for the first time but Star was able to put my mind at ease by telling me that she wants to enhance my natural hair color. Star took the time to listen to what I wanted and she also took the time to educate me on how to care for my hair now that it has color in it. LOVE this salon! Sarah has been my stylist for a few years and I happily followed her to Theory Salon. I am SO glad I have. The staff are all incredibly friendly and they are taking COVID safety precautions very seriously. The salon itself is beautifully decorated and bright, with big windows and cute plants. It's an incredibly welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through the doors. Not only does the salon have designated parking (which is hard to find in the area), but the hair washing stations have these blocks you rest your head on so your neck doesn't cramp. It's the little things. My hair always looks amazing when I walk out the door and I leave feeling like a million dollars. I've been going here for a year now and every time I have been in the salon it has been super clean and the staff has been so helpful! Alicia is a Color Queen. I was super nervous coming in to have Alicia correct my balayage. I had gone somewhere else originally and was told that she could do it too, and she couldn't. I'd been keeping my hair up to hide the bright golden yellow. Alicia was not only beyond sweet she was super efficient and professional. I had never gotten such treatment in a salon before. She talked me through it all so I not only felt like I understood but I could calm down a little bit. Bottom line is I have never loved my hair more. This salon is AMAZING!!! I've followed Lexie on Instagram for a while but finally booked an appointment for the first time to see what it was all about. Even in these crazy times, Theory and its employees made me feel SO safe and comfortable. I called the salon when I arrived and waited in my car until my appointment time. Temperatures were taken at the door and I was led to the bathroom to wash my hands. Theory is taking precautions to best serve their clients and the salon. I went to Camille at Theory salon for a color correction. After years of box dying my own hair black I was ready for something new and healthier. I had a consultation and was given a price following. As soon as I walked in I felt immediately comfortable and welcomed as I waited for my appointment to begin. It was a LONG day in the salon but all day everyone was so nice and professional. My hair ended up being more work than originally thought with the consultation and they honored the originally price. I've never been happier with a hair appointment or a stylist.
