Great little gift store/card shop/clothing store in historic, downtown Campbell, CA. The owner is great, and his employees are super friendly. I believe he owns five locations throughout the Bay Area, and I think it's extremely important to support locally owned businesses. They have some unique, creative gift ideas that I haven't seen elsewhere, so if you're looking for something special for the person who has "everything," then this could be your store. Are the prices a bit higher than the chain stores? Of course they are, but you're also not going to find as many original selections to choose from at the chain stores. read more

I love love love this store! I, too, have been to most of their locations and I think all of them are great. They always have the cutest selection of clothing. The best part is that you don't really find these clothing items at any other stores/boutiques. The employees here are always very friendly and helpful. I've had to get things transferred from other locations plenty of times, and they always do so very willingly, and call you as soon as the item(s) arrive. Their prices are high, but their store's layout and design is perfect, and they have all kinds of quirky things you won't find elsewhere. I truly appreciate stores that put thought and effort into their interior decoration, and make the space feel artful and cared for. I bought a beautiful little Glam Naturale wallet/cardholder here which has a handy mechanism that pops your stuff up when you open it (it's rather hard to picture, sorry). The fabric is a rustic canvas-y material with a birdcage and free flying bird printed on it. I wanted to buy lots more stuff here, such as a floating bookshelf that makes your books look as though they're hanging out on a wall all by themselves without any support. And a whale-printed wallet and matching purse. And some art. And other myriad goodies. But it was cost prohibitive to buy all that I wanted to get. The BF picked up a little tool here for only five bucks; it's a flat piece of metal that fits in your wallet with all kinds of tools built in, such as a bottle opener, a knife, and I don't even know what all else. Just remember to check it in if you're going on an airplane; who knows what airport security would think of you if you tried to walk through the metal detector with that in your wallet! I always come here before or after my meal at Stacks. I enjoy browsing the store. They have really cute clothes, purses, and accessories for both men and women. I give this place a two stars after visiting the mountain view and burlingame therapy stores. I don't know if I came in on an off time when they could have been restocking, but they had a very small selection of clothes to choose from (for both guys and girls). Not what I had expected! I came in, walked around for literally 30 seconds, then went out. Oh, and be careful when looking for the store -- there's no large "therapy" sign or anything. If it gets any better, tell me about it so I can come back and check it out! read more

I drug my boyfriend and his brother here on Saturday - I've been wanting to go forever, and now know that was justified! My boyfriend's brother is a self-proclaimed hipster, and he loved this store. It's a lot like Urban Outfitters, but a little more reasonably priced, and a lot cooler (in my opinion). I was looking for a dress for a wedding we have to attend, and actually found several that I really liked. I usually don't like paying much for a dress, but here I felt comfortable doing it. It's local, super cute, and the staff is pretty insanely helpful. Someone came and asked me if I wanted to start a dressing room, checked in with me regularly to bring the items I was carrying to the dressing room, and was just overall really really helpful. I was carrying around the dress I wanted, and another woman came up and asked me if she could hold it for me at the counter. This is the kind of customer service that will keep me coming back. When I did check out the clerk was really sweet and friendly. I'm usually really cheap and wouldn't spend as much as I did on the dress, but I felt really good about making a purchase here - and will certainly be making many more! read more

Love this shop. I made a quick trek here during lunch just to check it out, expecting mostly funky home decor stuff. Check! However it is so much more than that. This boutique came highly recommended so I thought I'd drop in to check it out. My first impression was Wow this looks just like a mini Urban Outfitters! There was a lot of trendy boho fashion, quirky accessories and random knick knacks like ceramic pigs (really who goes into any store to buy ceramic pigs??). Price-wise it was about the same. I read the reviews below about friendly service and for the most part I have to agree. But I was in the store 30 minutes tops and asked if I needed a fitting room no less than 4x. Just a tad bit annoying but hopefully that was an exception to the norm. In the end, I resisted the urge to buy jewelry way too young for me but did walk out with a really cute dress. Overall, an interesting shop to browse on a lazy Sunday with good chances that you will find something you'll like! read more

I have been to all 4 locations (Campbell, Mountain View, San Francisco and Burlingame) and all of them rock! Not only are the clothes cute and original but the service is pretty darn good too. Anytime you have an item in hand, they will ask if you want a fitting room started. They also offer you advice and suggest similar pieces. They will try to help you shop for an occasion as well. If you need a larger size, they will offer to call the other stores for a transfer. I believe they originally started in San Luis Obispo. They also carry a small selection of home decor, jewelry, cards, books, and other kitchsy things. Their prices is what keeps this place at 4 stars. Keep in mind, some of their items are worth the price because they are better made (craftsmanship with better materials) than what you will find at Forever 21 or H&M. Their items are also more unique. I would continue to shop here and pay the higher prices if they keep up with their attentive service and quality items. read more

The customer service at Therapy is the best! It was my birthday last week and I wanted a dress that couldnt be sold to me because it was on hold. They went out of their way to find the exact same dress at another location, and had that one shipped to their store right away so that I could buy the dress that was on hold. I know no other store would go out of their way to do that for me. This place is like a smaller version of Urban Outfitters. Definintely a place to come if you want to do some impulse shopping! read more

I love going to Therapy! Oh, and that's Therapy with a capital "T." It's an awesome boutique that I guess I'd describe as a cross between Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Great clothes, shoes, accessories, knick knacks, gift items, and even stuff for your home. Frankly, I'm in Therapy to work out my clothing issues. The girls who work there are amazing stylists, and super helpful without being pushy. And there's an impressive range of styles appropriate for young-at-heart fashionistas of any age. Don't see your size? No problem. They're happy to call one of their other locations to find it. When I leave Therapy, I feel validated that I won't end up looking like a cookie-cutter clone. Unfortunately, I love this store way more than my wallet does. Super unique clothes, hats, shoes.. and it's all color coordinated!! My eyeballs water upon entering and my credit cards tremble. I love buying clothes for myself here, and then scarves and jewelry as gifts - and my friends loves the gifts : D I always have an issue with the clothes fitting up top, but then too short but... that is a common problem of mine. Any time I'm in downtown Campbell, I am sure to walk through Therapy - but WITHOUT coffee... you can't shop properly when holding a cup. read more

I love this shop because of all the unique clothing and trinkets. You will find canvases, humorous dress socks, home essentials, jewelry and more. They have items you won't find anywhere else. Their clothes are unique and of quality. It's the type of clothes you find in nearby boutiques. At the risk of sounding like a broken record I loveeeee their items because it takes me back to my home away from home...Portland. I also truly appreciate that they have a 10% "teacher discount". So if you're a teacher come and shop your heart out. Minus 1 point for the the insane prices. Sometimes I am surprised by how overpriced their items can be. I'm not down to pay $12-15 for a pair of socks or $50 for a top no matter how unique and cute they may be...discount or no discount. read more

What a fun and hip store! It's like urban outfitters but without the store-chain stigma and hipster kids out front trying to look cool by association. This store has a good array of clothing that doesn't seem to be too mass produced, although I may be way off on that judgment. They had a small corner of the store dedicated to novelty, cleaver items that you would buy as a gag or funny gift. Some of them included "micro-organism stuffed toys" which were hilarious. There was the "influenza virus," a sperm, an ovum, and chicken pox. As far as jewelry, the store had some pieces that were made by some local artists and architects. They had some lasercut wood pendants and earrings and cool necklaces that aren't found in many places. It's worth a look if you're a little interested. They have 5 more locations i think from what i saw on their business card. This store would definitely be "Therapy" for your shopping itch. So scratch away.... here. read more

I'm a fan of the Therapy stores. They have a good collection of super cute clothes and accessories. Reason for my rating is that when I came in one morning after having breakfast at Stacks, I didnt get so much as a "Hi" when I walked in to the nearly empty store. There was more than one girl working and the best I got was a "Bye" when I finally left the store and I was there for a good hour; at least. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the fake, hovering, and pushy sales people; but I expected a little more from this place. Maybe I just wasn't cute enough in my SJSU sweatshirt...I prefer to go to the Mountain View location. I'm a sucker for good customer service. read more

Which doesn't bother me because I know it's there, and I tell everyone to shop here for cute, unique clothing and home accessories. Great selection of inexpensive jewelry and gifts, too. Walked in earlier this week and was taken aback at how many things I wanted to buy, keep, have, covet! Spoke with an employee, Amy, for quite some time. Clothing, candles, jewelry, gifts- Therapy has so many great things. Michelle is AMAZING! I can go into the shop, tell her what I am looking for, and she will bring me an assortment of things that are exactly what I am looking for that I can choose from. She listens to you, and genuinely wants you to leave happy. FANTASTIC! I went into the Campbell location a couple days after it opened in November. The merchandise was cute, stylish, nicely displayed, and really reasonably priced. The sales girl was patient and friendly, you could tell that she liked her job and her customers. I bought a pair of sunglasses, and when I broke them a week later (because I am a klutz), I went back and the salesgirl remembered me and even gave me a small discount on a replacement pair! I was just in the other night (a week before Christmas). The store was calm and organized, unlike the mall. The salesgirl even asked me how my sunglasses were working out! It is such a treat to have a great boutique in my neighborhood so I don't have to go the the mall. LOVE LOVE LOVE! read more

I love this store - they always have unique gifts, fun stuff for my house, and cute clothing that isn't super expensive. Even my husband likes looking around at the men's clothing and home wares. I actually like that they move stuff around a lot so that I see different things when I go in to shop. My only complaint is that I went in there this morning to make a purchase, I had only brought my VISA card with no ID (I walked from home). The woman at the register refused to check me out, even though the VISA merchant agreement states that merchants cannot refuse to complete a transaction without an ID. See the excerpt from the VISA guidelines below: "When should you ask a cardholder for an official government ID? Although Visa rules do not preclude merchants from asking for cardholder ID, merchants cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance . Therefore, merchants cannot refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to provide ID . Visa believes merchants should not ask for ID as part of their regular card acceptance procedures . Laws in several states also make it illegal for merchants to write a cardholder's personal information, such as an address or phone number, on a sales receipt." Otherwise a really great store! I think there used to be an antique store here. This store has a lot of eclectic merchendise,but not as diverse or as large a selection as Anthropologie. Lots of fun tee shirts, and relatively classic style dresses. They even have a Forever 21 style- like brand of polyester dresses called Everly. I have no idea if this brand was named after the Everly Brothers --the brand website gives no clue about this.Much of the stuff is overpriced, but there is plenty of room to walk around; it is not tightly packed with stuff.Might be a good place to find a souvenir tee shirt.However, I did not find any Campbell ones--that might be a good idea for merchendise to carry. Therapy is such an interesting and fun store to explore! Every time I go in there, I discover humorous and unique items good for my desk or gag gifts. Think of it as a smaller, more affordable urban outfitters. I'm making a note of coming back here for White elephant themed parties :) The employees are very nice and helpful as well. While I haven't actually made a purchase here (yet!), one of my best girlfriends swears by the amazing shopping at this adorable boutique. Every time I complement her on something, whether it is an outfit, shoes, or accessories, it is always from here. I finally made the trek over to find a quirky birthday gift for a friend. Though I didn't find anything (there was plenty of options, just nothing jumped out and slapped me in the face), I can see why KO loves it so much. Fun gifts for men and women, some inappropriate (love!), huge assortment of clothing (didn't get to look much though - I had a manfriend with me), and to die for shoes, particularly ankle boots. Kind of reminiscent of Bunny's in Santa Cruz, which is very special to me. I will return when I can waste an entire afternoon and do a thorough "power shop." read more

Therapy is the best places to buy gifts, hands down. Lots of fun trinkets and useful kitchen and household items alike, all with a handmade or personalized flair that only Therapy can provide. You can even buy greeting cards and have your complete gift ready when you leave the store. They have lots of selection and are located on a cute shopping street in Campbell, which is a super great town. Prices are in the standard high boutique range, but that is expected. I love Therapy! I do all my clothes shopping here and have been a regular since they came to downtown Campbell so many years ago. The variety of current styles that are reasonably priced will make you a regular as well. Love how the clothes are organized by color. Constant influx of inventory can have you coming back week after week. Wish I could decorate my house with many of their home items but have to be selective as my husband would then catch on that I'm a regular and might need to be kept in check! Very cute clothing. A bit pricey for pieces that fall apart after 3 wears. I bought a necklace and within 3 days of me wearing it the chain broke. Then, I bought a wallet and within a month it had a rip where the money is placed. I also bought sunglasses then after 2 months the screw on one of the hinges fell. A belt that came with a dress feel apart on the first wear. I had to super glue it.Their items are cheap and ridiculously over priced. I'm not buying anything from this store again. The reason why I kept coming back is because I did get a dress that has not fallen apart yet. read more
