It's jam packed with precious finds, and I was impressed at the range of styles- there were all types of earrings and rings- old world studs, hippie danglers, modern sleek. Oh what a special day to find a rare treasure in Pam's "art" shop! The shop carries pretty much a curated work of art pieces which comes with an artist's story and history! Pam is already a gem herself! What a pleasant, kind, brilliant, ray of sunshine she is! We were checking the unique and functional face masks displayed outside the cute shop and we felt like we never wanted to leave the shop anymore! Such a gem in the guise of buttons but mind you, Successories sells or actually keeps (the store owner would not want to always part ways with her craft) one of a kind, historical, masterpieces! I was specially enamored with its collection of jewelry! It is your valuable museum pieces only that you can buy them in this shop! So long story short, we got those masks that were really cute and surprise, surprise they were designed by important artists! I wish to visit again soon!! Very grateful to Pam for all the valuable lessons she imparted to my 14-yr old daughter today! We spent a couple nights in Pacifica and I went to this adorable store!! I bought a few pairs of earrings. I wore one that evening and it had a short back and fell out and I lost one. I was so sad. My boyfriend was going to buy me another pair before we headed home. When I told the owner what happened she offered to make me a new one! She was true to her word because I just got a call and she will be sending me my earrings! I can't wait to go back and support this place again :) read more

the two women working here today were awful--hastled my sister about paying with card (when we said no worries and tried to leave, they agreed to try it, and it worked), then when i asked about the price of an unmarked item (a button), the snobby older woman said it wasn't for sale, told me (someone in my mid-20s) that i couldn't pay the price she had for it anyway, and then said that it should have been tied down and why wasn't it, implying i had ripped it out or something (?) when it was literally just in a drawer with a bunch of other items for sale. she then bragged that it was a famous button, but she'd once made one into a pin. i shrugged and told her i would've made it into a clasp on a journal. so mark the whole experience up to prententious and rude. we walked out, and my sister said, "wish we would have had that interaction before i paid--i would have never bought anything from them." read more

I have been going to this store in years. Pamela, the owner always have some eclectic, unique and beautiful handmade items. She turns an old buttons, coins or any other items into something very special and one of a kind. I have bought some few items for myself and gifts to special relatives and friends. I've been going to Successories for ages. The jewelry there is always classy and gorgeously made. I've gotten gifts for my grandmother, made out of real antique bulgarian glass beads, for not only a decent and fair price. I just got a set of framed earrings for my gal. We stumbled across this lovely shop on our way to dinner. We were so warmly welcomed by the sweet shopkeeper who greeted us as we walked in and chatted with us as we perused. Filled with so many vintage treasures and unique handmade jewelry- new and used. I collect boxes of all kinds and I love statement necklaces. There were a few necklaces that were absolutely stunning but a little out of my price range. We ended up scoring a couple of unique boxes and left so happy with our finds. This is a small shop, but so unique. My whole family had a wonderful time exploring the jewelry (mostly handmade), hats, clothing, and other treasures. We were there looking for a present for a relative who is celebrating her 100th birthday, and we found a beautiful necklace made from a mother-of-pearl button from the year she was born. The owner even engraved it for us. She was so kind and helpful, and gave both of my kids a bag of buttons. My daughter has been making her own jewelry out of buttons all day, and keeps saying that Successories is her favorite store. Happy to have such an unusual shop here in town. I will let you know that this store is charming! The minute I walked in, I was immediately drawn into another world of beautiful, artisan treasures by the owner's own hand, among other artists in this shop. The owner is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and caring, even gave me a discount on my purchase, "just because", to welcome me and believe me, I felt welcomed. She was very kind, sweet, and extremely thoughtful to me, even gave me a seat so I could feed my baby. Here you will find gorgeous, dainty, flattering, unique pieces of jewelry that are quite stunning as well as textile goods. I loved so many things! Each inch of the store is an adventure of treasures to discover. When the owner wrapped up another customer's purchase for his wife, she attached a fragrant geranium from her garden to the wrapping. Very thoughtful, indeed! This is a classy, charming beautiful store and Pacifica is lucky to have it in our midst. I rarely leave reviews because I do not make it a past time to ruin people's livelihoods as some people care to do through social media. Instead, I understand what goes into owning a business, working hard to make it work, and feel people who leave poor reviews are on some kind of ego trip, especially when I read they are chronic yelp reviewers, as if their opinion seems to matter. It's unfortunate people are so cruel. Don't be swayed by one bad review people. People who don't appreciate the hard work that goes into creating a successful business have probably never worked as hard to understand how hard it is. Leaving negative feedback is vicious and mean spirited. The energy you put out is the energy you receive. Maybe someone needs to get over herself. read more
