Even though this Thai restaurant is a bit farther out in Brooklyn, the food is so delicious it's worth the commute! I was so addicted to the squid ink fried rice and the 3 mushroom larb that I couldn't stop myself from eating one bite after the other.

What an incredible hidden gem. Located off the Wilson stop of the L Train lies this brand new Thai restaurant, that has already amassed a cult following. This is the one cult ever that I will gladly join. I mean seriously, their crab Rangoon, their braised beef soups, their pad see ew, their service, the ambiance.. everything is top notch. Ugh, I've already said too much... well the cats out the bag. So enjoy it as much as I do... I know you will!

New spot to hang out in Bushwick! Food is good my fav bowl is Panang Curry Mc n Cheese. Flavor is unique and yum! Crab Rangoon is a must! Cocktails are good also lots of wine lists.

The nastiest Sauv Blanc we've ever tasted.

They say that this is the best Thai restaurant in bushwick.... I say otherwise. Cute place, but the food was not what I expected based on the reviews. Real Thai flavors? Definitely not for my husband and I. I'm Thai & he's Colombian. Dishes were missing flavors. Food was not spicy at all and the server didn't ask about spice level for the papaya salad, which was interesting to us since every Thai restaurant we go to would usually ask. These Thai flavors were Americanized. My husband ordered a Rosé and it tasted like it was opened for a long time so we ended up switching that to a Sauv Blanc. On the menu we saw there was a Sauv Blanc from Argentina & one from France. He wanted the one from France but they never asked which he wanted and just brought him the Sauv Blanc from Argentina which was completely different in color than we are used to since we've never tried one from Argentina before (it was disgusting). They already made us feel like we were a bother asking to change the Rose. I asked to see the bottle of Sauv Blanc (just so we know to never order that anywhere) and the also seemed bothered. I could have sworn I heard them say "what do they want now" and other things as well but they were at a distance. I wanted to know what Riesling I had since I enjoyed it and I take notes of what bottles I try, but they made me feel uncomfortable to even ask again. If it was properly printed on the menu, that would have saved us the trouble but the "Chardonnay" was crossed out and they wrote in "Riesling," but no info on the vintage or region. We live right around the corner, but definitely won't be coming back. If you want real Thai food, Som Tum Der is the place to go.

Sauced is such a gem. The food, wine, and ambiance were all amazing, but what truly stood out to me…read morewas the service. We were served by Mehdi, and he went absolutely above and beyond. He was so kind and warm and genuinely treated us like he knew us personally, which added so much to the cozy, homey vibe of the place. The space itself is really cute -- perfect lighting with red tones, exposed brick walls, and such an intimate, inviting atmosphere. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was one of the best I've ever had. It was packed with an incredible variety of meats and cheeses and was more than enough to generously feed our table of four. At a lot of wine bars, I leave still feeling unsatisfied, but this one was filling and so well done. I had the Riesling and it was amazing -- the perfect balance of sweet and dry. And the real star of the show was the grilled cheese with ragù. So delicious. I'm from LA, but we will absolutely be back every time we're in Brooklyn. Highly recommend & cannot say enough about this place! It was one of the highlights of our trip :)

A very cute and cozy wine bar, with a really nice outdoor patio. I enjoyed the decor with the disco…read moreballs and the chalk on the walls. It can get quite busy here, so it may be difficult to find seating. They ask you what type of wine you like, and let you try a few different ones before settling on a glass. I was only given two wines to try though, and would have liked to have sampled a couple more.
