My first time here even though I saw it many times when I pass by it to take the L train at Bedford Avenue. I decided to give it a try with my daughter. Too bad the entrance got 2 steps that I have to get my stroller though. It was tough but I made it after some difficulty maneuvering the stroller inside. So it is not that handicapped or stroller convenient. Other than that the ambience is very intimate especially all the way in the back and deep into the restaurant you have a nice lit background of trees. I wanted to sit over there but since I had the stroller and a toddler, the waitress made me sit by the entrance where it was empty. It was just the 2 of us. The waitress offered me a baby high chair but I denied it. I kind of regret it because my baby started running back and forth on the long bench the tables were piled up against. Luckily there was no one in that section except us. The staff were also friendly and kind and did not complain so I was happy. I got a chicken pineapple fried rice and a chicken pad Thai to share with my daughter. We had to wait a couple of minutes for the food to arrive. When they did arrive, I was shocked at the portions. The portions were huge enough to share with 2 people. The staff were kind to offered to small plates to put our food on. Initially they did not give us small plates but they did after the portions were big. The pad Thai was silky smooth and tastes really good! I liked the texture of the noodle. The kitchen cooked it really well. It did not come out soggy as other places. The pineapple fried rice was very good too although it had a lot of ingredients in it and not so much rice. It got raisins, which I didn't really like. But I was okay with the raisins since the rice had scallions, onions, tomatoes, and chicken to go mix and go with so the raisins did not really stand out in my tongue. It was just a lot of ingredients all at once seasoned so well in my mouth. My daughter kept wanting more rice and she loved it a lot! They also gave my daughter a sippy plastic cup with a tight lid in case she spills it. I got a glass cup of water. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and chill. Came here on a saturday evening around 9:30 PM, and they only allowed takeout since it was close to closing time. We ordered a tom yum soup, pad thai, and some rice, which came out very quickly. It was a decent amount of food for about $30. I liked that the tom yum soup came with veggies in it, and it had a good sour flavor. The pad thai was also pretty good. After a week of eating pizza and pasta, I was craving some delicious, fresh, and aromatic Thai food. Williamsburg Thai Cuisine turned out to be the perfect choice to fulfill this craving! In addition to the great food, the service was efficient and incredibly attentive; my friend joked that you wouldn't be able to hear a pin drop because the waitress would catch it before it hit the ground. I spilled some of my Thai tea boba (which was super yummy) and she immediately swept in with napkins; each finished plate, dish, or skewer stick was quickly removed; and all of this was done with kindness and courtesy. Onto the food! We ordered the Pad See Ew, which we all would order again-- HIGHLY recommend! The Massaman Curry was also delicious, with little carrot spears and thinly sliced chicken pieces in a fragrant curry. The Drunken Lo Mein, which were made with egg noodles, were good but a bit too spicy for my own (admittedly pretty delicate for spice) palate so keep that in mind. And lastly, for appetizers we shared the Chicken Satay (also HIGHLY recommend) and the Fresh Summer Roll (which I would skip ordering next time and instead get more chicken satay; nothing bad, just not epic). read more

We order the Vegtable spring rolls, it was okay but love that they were hot and not cold.. Then we had the Pad Kee Maow with Chicken, It was flavorful and was very fresh.I did wish it had more broccoli and carrots but nothing to complain about. if you know thai food it was better than SEA Thai. I live nearby and order takeout from here all the time. My favorite thing they make is probably their khao soy super flavorful and well balanced. Soupy and crunchy I just love it especially on a cold day or when you need to kick a cold. I have also tried their pad Thai which is very consistent as well with just the right amount of peanuts. Today since I had wisdom teeth surgery and needed something soft without nuts J opted for the pad see ew which was delicious and flavorful and nice and soft for me to eat! Quick tip - if you do not like spicy foods, make sure to inform your waiter how spicy or not you want your food. They will try to accommodate you. We ordered green papaya salad and curry puffs for appetizers. Loved both. We each ordered an entree. I got the basil fried rice with shrimp and it was spicy. My husband got the Tom Yum soup and red curry with chicken, and our friend ordered green curry with beef. I enjoyed my dish except next time I'm going ask for mild. I thought I could handle the heat but it was a little too much for me. I tried the red curry with chicken that my husband ordered and really enjoyed it. The Tom Yum soup was okay. Our friend enjoyed his dish as well. The service was good. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. My friend had dropped his drink on the floor and someone came and mopped it up pretty quickly. This is a great neighborhood Thai spot. In Williamsburg there are alot to choose from (SEA, Savory Thai, Noods N' Chill etc..), but don't sleep on Williamsburg Thai Cuisine despite the generic name. You can usually expect to get a table relatively easily with no wait, a great way to escape the bustling Bedford Ave. I am a regular with ordering their pineapple fried rice (probably have gotten it 10+ times at this point) for pick up, I've also eaten indoors. The portion sizes are generous whether you order delivery/pick up or eat at the restaurant. The staff is friendly as well. There was one time where I ordered curry puffs and it came out frozen in the middle, however they promptly fixed it. read more

Quick stop for Thai lunch on Bedford Avenue on my way to a Yelp Event, Nippon Cha which was so far away from Williamsburg Thai... like...2 feet! Lol! Anyway, I've had a craving for Thai food since last week eating at Little Tiffin. Thus, I Yelped some recommendations and this place looked really cool and had a nice Lunch Special menu. I was greeted and seated right away to a nice cozy table in the back. I had a craving for Drunken Noodle. I've eaten this dish spicy, medium spicy and today mildly spicy. There are noodle options and I chose egg noodle.There is a choice of appetizers: Veggie Spring roll or Thai salad. My lunch was ready in five minutes and looked scrumptious. I unsealed my chopsticks, practice, practice, practice and dug in. I must say, for a lunch entree, the portion was generous. The Drunken Noodle was delicious and perfectly spiced and there were delicious chunks of chicken, broccoli and carrots. The noodles were easy to twirl with my chopsticks! A big plus for Fawn: minimize the spillage! The Thai salad was your typical salad with a big tomato and cucumber but a watered down peanut sauce. I prefer the sauce to be thicker. The interior is cozy with a nice back table which if you have ever dined at Nam, an oldie but was a great Thai place on Broadway. Nam had a bamboo backdrop and WT has a similar one. The vibe is relaxing with soothing music. The lunch specials start at $10.95 but go up depending on meat chosen. The service is quick and mildly pleasing. So why 4 stars? The entrance is a bit steep.. you practically have to climb up to get in. I noticed there was a door adjacent to bar and wondered if that used to be an entrance? We came as a large group of 10 without a reservation on a Saturday and were able to be seated immediately by pushing some smaller tables together. The service was very quick and efficient, and the restaurant was clean. Even with such a large group, all of the dishes came out at the same time and very quickly after ordering which was impressive! The menu is large so there are definitely options for everyone and all tastes. The summer rolls ($7) were somewhat loosely rolled and messily plated so they did not hold up well when eating. The rolls were mostly fresh vegetables with a few mini shrimp in them. The pad woon sen with chicken was, again, not plated well but it had a good sized portion of chicken and was overall a filling portion size. My first review of the year goes to Williamsburg Thai cuisine. We came here for dinner without reservation one Saturday evening. We were surprised that they still use a partition in-betweens dining tables indoors, but we didnt complain about it since we felt safe and had some privacy while dining. We ordered crispy shrimp rolls and fried calamari for appetizers, both dishes were delicious starters. We then ordered whole fried red snapper on tamarind sauce together with traditional fried rice with chicken. It was delicious and the portion is good to share by two people. I added an extra star when our server offered to debone the fish and he practically removed all the meat from the head to tail of the fish. We were completely satisfied with our dinner here, good food and efficient service. We are looking forward to trying other dishes on their menu soon. read more

The staff gave us such a warm welcome I immediately forgot the disappointment I was feeling. We tried the soups, appetizers and yes.... I was back on track. The calamari was crispy and spicy. Just like I like it. We had the snappers with different sauces and no one was disappointed. My favorite was the coconut milk n curry and lime n cilantro. The tamarind sauce wasn't bad either.
