I didn't notice until the following morning they had hit my car with that giant blue thing they lug around and it had pushed in my backup sensor. So now I get to hear a fun high pitched sound whenever I back up until it's fixed. I also noticed they had turned my basement breakers off and never turned them back on. My reptile room and incubator are in the basement as well. They're on timers so I didn't notice until I went to do cleaning and feedings. Thankfully they were ok. Accidents happen but they took zero responsibility when my husband called on Monday and basically called us liars. The cost to fix my sensor is more than what we were charged for the service, so I'd say they're not worth it. The person that hit it knows they hit it and chose to not say anything at the time and then chose to straight up lie about it. Find a more honest company when choosing a place that has to come inside your home. One that accepts their employees don't walk on water and accidents happen. Instead of blaming your customers.

He also took photos of the work and promised electronic copies which I have not received. The ceiling tiles in the basement were damaged by the solution that was sprayed in the duct work. I've asked him to address this but he has been unresponsive. His work was good and Justin is very passionate about clean indoor air but the amount of work getting a quote and trying to get information back from him is just not worth it. I'd suggest using a more professional company.

Edward went above and beyond to clean the vent, spending much more time than he anticipated. It turns out that there were items in the vent pipe causing a significant lint buildup. Recently, we bought a new home and have had a number of contractors over for various repairs and…read moreupgrades. One of the upgrades required was a new furnace as the original one was on its last leg. I called for 3 different estimates and received offers from 2 companies, including Betlem. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Craig from Betlem knew and understood HVAC. Not only was he knowledgeable but he took the time to explain in detail what I needed and why. I had numerous questions, all of which he answered. He spent a good hour at my house walking me through the various options available. It took me only a few minutes to decide to go with Betlem based on Craig's vast knowledge and customer service. On installation day, Betlem showed up on time and did everything they said they were going to do (Installed furnace, installed new thermostat, extended the exhaust piping, installed a new pump for the whole house humidifier, etc.) When I examined the work it looked clean and professional. After a few hours, I noticed that some of the pvc work was leaking. I called Craig and he sent over a service team the next day. The piping simply needed some additional glue to secure the fittings. While Aaron was here, he also setup the system so the furnace would turn off if the pump ever failed. He could have charged me for this because it wasn't in the contract and never came up but he did it free of charge. Ken Bird came to our home and showed me how false readings can occur when you put the meter near metal. He found no high readings in the area where I was told was excessive moisture. I said yes I went down a little bit later and I said what died here.. did you find a dead animal?? Quality of the job was not good after they got done and put the vacuum away. I had to ask something vacuum other parts that they missed they weren't happy.. they didn't even say goodbye when they left so I didn't even know that they left. I called the company and said I didn't get a receipt.. pricing of the job was reasonable. Peter Gordon the manager called me and sent me for free $20 filters to make up for the four poor performance of the crew.. I told them they didn't need to send me anything. The only reason I called was for a receipt.. but I did accept. I would use them again if it was a different crew.. I am happy with the work that was completed. If they did the job properly, it would've been four or five stars instead of just three.

(Then made a phone call to his boss, who called us lots of names while the kid's volume was all the way up. My husband had a few choice words, then he was summarily removed from the premesis.) IAP were very professional from start to finish. We found them at the Buffalo Home Show initially, and were able to make an appointment very quickly with a quote over the phone. The guys who came out were quick and efficient. They have a completely enclosed vacuuming system, so no gross stuff gets away. When they are done, they show you the filters they used and all your bagged vent bunnies. Our system was resealed, and we have had no problems since. It has been 3 years, so we are due to get our system cleaned again, and as an added reminder, IAP was at my school last week cleaning the vents before the kids start. The guys there were very friendly and spent 2 days making sure the entire system was good. Can't wait to work with them again.
