All of them taste pretty good, but I will have to say that the fried food like the cheese curds, comes out a little bit too greasy. Just stay away from the fried foods. Me and my husband went to Thirsty Lion mainly because they sent out a coupon and new in the neighborhood. First of all, the customer service was top notch! It seemed like everyone loved their jobs and were team players. We had 1 main waitress but if our drinks were ready someone bought them to us and same with our food. I am happy that we were attended to so fast. The hibiscus basil lemonade was sooooooo good! I had 2 glasses and would have had more if I wasn't so full from the delicious pork dish that I had. The pork was tender. I enjoyed the sauce. I meant to order it without the egg but whatever the yolk touched I did not eat. Not an egg fan, however, I really liked the dish. Needed a late night spot to grab dinner and this was an incredible find. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Stopped in really late on a Friday night for first date drinks. The drinks were tasty, lots of choices and good recommendations from the bar tender. Loved the Scottish eggs. Went for brunch today and sat at bar. Breezy was our server and she was great! Very friendly and checked in with us often. The bad - I turned to see hostess cleaning her feet with a wet cloth at the hostess stand which is as soon as you enter!!! Pretty cool spot north of the city with lots of things to do in the area. The layout and ambience are pretty good and the menu is quite eclectic with fare ranging from sushi, to tacos, and everything in between. The edamame is actually really good with a spicy garlic chili sauce although it makes it messy to eat. We tried a couple of sushi rolls for apps... they were good and we also ordered the Brussel sprouts which were also good. I ordered the gochuchang Korean bbq with kimchi rice. Now I normally love gochuchang and the spice level in it but this one was a little hotter than I expected. There wasn't enough sweetness in the Korean bbq sauce to counteract the heat so it overpowered the meat. The rice was also spicy which I didn't recall reading in the menu but maybe I missed it so there wasn't any relief from the heat of the dish. While the pork was tender it all just got muddled together. It took our server FOREVER to finally bring our bill so it was good that we were not in a hurry but she did great otherwise. Hostess great, bartender fabulous, food good nice variety however our server was horrible, I like leaving good reviews, but am compelled to leave this one because we always tip well 30-35% for good service, I was disappointed that we had to leave a minimum 18% tip for service that was tremendously sub-par. She let drinks run out multiple times, while we watched her on the phone in the kitchen OR nowhere insight. I get it- people need breaks- bathroom, phone calls etc. however this was not once but repeatedly and we were left without too many times when we needed something. The restaurant was slow therefore service should have been even better not worse. Disappointing... we will not return to this location and will likely hesitate to stop at The Colony's location. read more

I had lunch with a friend at the Las Colinas location. While the waitress was very kind and courteous, the food was cold, and it took forever for it to come to our table. When we complained and asked for it to be remade, they did so, but it came back out, cold again. This was my first experience with thirsty lion, and maybe it just wasn't a good day. But what I appreciate the most was the Manager, who made things right and the rest of our experience with someone enjoyable. read more

Place is nice, clean and big! I got the spicy sausage Mac and cheese which was delicious as an appetizer. I later got the ramen which I was not impressed with AT ALL. If you're between the ramen and something else, get something else. read more

The place that used to be here was sectioned off into cozy areas with lots of booths. It was remodeled to be completely open with a sea of bar height tables set very closely together. I will say though that they have cushioned barstools that are not all that uncomfortable. The food was delicious, not exceptional, but not disappointing in any way. The drinks were as good as you'd get anywhere. We had two happy hour drinks each, I had a burger, husband had a Reuben, and the final damage, including a 20% tip, was just over $100. My husband and I are not all that young and to be honest we were annoyed by the super loud music. Everyone in the place had to shout just to carry on a conversation resulting in an incredibly noisy atmosphere. Even though it's by my house and the food was tasty, we won't be going back because we prefer a relaxing atmosphere. I could see some younger people being okay with it. Thumbs down If you want to go have conversation with a friend or loved one. If it's happy hour with friends, or you and hubby are going to be shouting at the kids anyway - thumbs up. read more

We were seated very quickly which was nice, but the wait ataff took a long time for everything. Not sure if this was because they were understaffed or just slower. The food was tasty but dont get a sandwich or burger of you want to eat it with your hands. They were extremely big and hard to hold so we just used silverware. Honestly so disappointing. This place has a lot of potential because of the area and amount of space they have. However the service was extremely disappointing. We were greeted by their less than friendly hostess and then decided to go to the bar. The bartender was fine. The manager served my meal to the wrong bar guest where I had to correct her that it was mine: the manager proceeded to ask my boyfriend what he had ordered ( as if she forgot) and it wasn't until 15 minutes after I had got my salad that his sandwich came out.
