The drinks here are great. Mai Tai here is the best drink I've ever had. As for food, it depends on what you order. Our first visit we got a current stew but didn't like it. It was very oily. We tried it again recently and got spicy baked salmon. It was really good with fresh garlic and smoked cabbage. The jasmine rice was excellent too. We will give it another chance for sure. read more

As a result, the place was slammed but they did a remarkable job of trying to keep up. I would like to go back when it was calmer and quieter. My noodle dish was much spicier than I had anticipated but really well made. We also had terrific appetizers. My favorite dish that my husband ordered was the pineapple chicken. I live a block away from this restaurant and this was my 2nd time that I have been there. You can tell that the owner takes this restaurant very seriously. It is run like a well oiled machine. The staff is extremely nice and professional. The food is so fresh and not at all greasy. The flavors were so good I ate everything, no leftovers! I had the sesame chicken with the thai eggrolls as an appetizer. My husband had the halibut with the pork meatballs as an appetizer. I also had my first martini. The waitress recommended the grapefruit basil. Oh my.....so good and refreshing. I will be back. What a great gem to have in Evergreen Park. read more

Cocktail was decent. Crispy avocado rolls were good, dipping sauce was amazing. Servers were prompt and polite. Green curry tofu was definitely one of the best I have had, I usually get this at a thai restaurant. Pad se ew was great too. Portions are generous. Owner greets regulars. Our friends saw this on Check Please and invited us to join them. We were lucky that they were able to snag a reservation as the whole world had also seen them on Check Please. We all ordered different dishes but I thought mine was the best. I had the pineapple chicken stirred rice and everyone loved it. Very flavorful with no heat. It was hopping the night we were here, probably a good idea to let the crowds die down a bit. Between them getting slammed and the fresh approach to each meal, it took a while to get our food. Thithi's is my favorite restaurant in the the area. I've been going here for a few years now and I've tried a lot of things on the menu including the pad thai, Panang curry, pho and cocktails and I've never been disappointed. So good, in fact, I tired my daughter's dish: the pineapple curry shrimp and decided to order an additional to go, to have for lunch the next day. The wait was ok. As expected for good food. If you are looking for a unique martini, this is the place for you, The martini book is extensive. If martinis aren't your thing they have a full bar that delivers anything you want. The slowest service I have ever experienced! 30 minutes to get a cocktail. 45 minutes for the appetizer to be served then another hour wait until the entrees arrived. Total time for dinner 2.5 hours on a Tuesday night at 7pm. The food quality was about the same as the other huge popular Chinese restaurant on Kedzie. The cost was way more than other similar restaurants. I will not be coming back to this place. It's over priced and a waste of time. read more

Waited over 75 mins for an available table (no appt) after being told it would be 35 minutes. This was not the worst of the matter. We expected to wait, as we did not have a reservation. However the response from the staff when i asked how many people were in front of me after waiting twice as long as told was ludicrous. I asked how many people were in front of me. I was told 3, which was impossible as all of the people in the waiting area had walked in after us and the front desk didn't take down phone numbers or give buzzers to alert when it was our turn. The manager then came to explain to me how reservations work. That's when i got a little perturbed. She then told me that it would be another 30 minutes wait. I called bs. I saw at least 2 couples who came in after us (overheard that it wasn't a problem that they didn't have reservations) who were seated but they were of a lighterpigment than us and the others waiting. Not calling anything, just stating facts. Seems like an ok place if you have a reservation or look of European descent. read more

Went here yesterday with some co-workers and the food and drinks are amazing! The martinis are great. I tried the upside down pineapple cake and the berry peach one. If you like sweet drinks than they are perfect for you. The cost is reasonable for the amount. I tried the pad thai chicken and enjoyed it very much. The portion of the food is great too. I was extremely hungry from not eating all day and I still had to take a box home. It was a bit on the spicy side for me, but something that I could tolerate considering I usually hate any sort of spice. I will definitely be back to try some other foods! read more

Came on Friday at 5:30pm. The 3 of us were seated immediately. Ordered Crab & Cream Cheese Crispy Rolls and Seafood Crispy Rolls which were brought out within 5 minutes. They were ok. Couldn't really taste the difference as the wraps were too thick. Pineapple Curry Shrimp was very soupy, but nice and spicy. The Pad Thai with Shrimp & Scallops was delish, but also overpriced at $24. The Sea Bass had a great ginger sauce and flaky, but was a small piece of fish for $30. Mai Thai tasted like a Pina Colada. Have to note that the service is horribly slow and most servers do not speak English. A glass of Plum Wine took 10 minutes to pour. Our server never checked in on us after our food came out and we waited approximately 20 minutes to order another round of drinks. But our water glasses were refilled every few sips. Would like to try Thithi's again when I'm in the area to try their Martini's but understanding that I will be waiting awhile and spending 50% more than nearby Asian restaurants. read more

Finally got around to this new place. Their pork chops were fantastic. My wife had some kind of cheesy asparagus ham spring rolls which were excellent and I could've had twenty more of those. The pho looked good. Hesitate to say this since they're doing something rare and fancy in the burbs, but I think it's a biiiit overpriced. $18 for two thin (though delicious) chops and a small (though delicious) salad. Wife had a small bowl of thai coconut soup, $8, would've been $12 with shrimp. You're just gonna drop four frozen shrimps into it, and there's excellent coconut soup within blocks of here... Lots of enticing-looking cocktails - lychee, peach, ginger - in the the $10-12 range, but my wallet's feeling light, maybe next time. I have never found a place outside of the city to get Thai food until now. Eons better than the Thai down the street. I have been here a few times. This most recent time was a disappointment. I ordered the Pho Shrimp. It was horrible. I wanted to ask for a refund but didn't. I saw people posting how good it was and figured I would try it. I travel all over the city for Pho dishes. I am a Pho lover but this experience made me think twice about trying it at new places. The broth was dark brown and not clear. I should have known then not to try to eat it. It also had way too much ginger flavor. Next time I will stick to the rice dishes.
