Last night, I accidentally dropped my AirPod (the left one) on the fields and could ot find it. Today morning (July 8, 2026), I drove there and asked the ground staff, if they found it or if, someone turned it in. A ground maintenence staff, Ms. Josephine, came to me and showed me, where I should look. Then, she drove a cart herself to go look for it!! AND, she found my AirPod...! Thank you, Ms. Josephine! It almost seems like they didn't know what to do with the land so they made it into a grassy area and put a play structure there. Now I am sure a lot of people walk through here, especially with dogs. But there is no properly gated area for dogs. It's close to a busy street, so would you even feel comfortable taking your kids here and possibly running by cars? I am not trying to make this out to be a terrible area and I am sure it serves its purpose. This is very much a local's kind of park and it gets its occasional use. But definitely not something to drive out of your way for!

This is not the closest place for me to go but it's by far the best. 3 large fenced in dog park areas, many types of friendly and fun pooches will be there for your fur babies to play with. It's fun for me to see all the different types of breeds that come here. Most of the pups are well behaved. I've seen a couple times some negligent owners on their phones so spaced out, don't pick up their dogs poop or watch what their dogs are doing, but as far as dog parks go- it's the best for not having to stress that something negative will happen. I've been to other dog parks in the area that just had bad vibes. This one is nice and happy. It's as clean as a dog park can be, they do regular maintenance to the grounds, and there is a huge parking lot. It's also nice to walk the dogs in that area as well. My boys love it here and I'm happy to take them. Important to note- check the hours on certain days since they do the maintenance and close the parks. I've shown up a couple times forgetting about this and it was closed, so we just went for a nice walk instead.

We rode by a few months ago and discovered that they had installed all new play structures and some great shades! My kids hounded me incessantly about returning so we could play and test everything out. We showed up the other night and they got a chance to try it. They gave it an enthusiastic thumbs-up! There are enough climbing bars to satisfy even the pickiest kid, and there are swings for the non-climbers in the family. There's also a full-size basketball court, with a decent playing surface and hoops that are still in good shape. There are garbage and recycling cans next to the playground and court. The only unfortunate thing is that there is no drinking fountain and no restroom facilities. Make sure to bring plenty of water and a strong bladder to hold it in!

I found clean restrooms. The grounds seemed well maintained. At Lake Serena was a sign which read: Don't Feed the Ducks, odd wordage, can one feed the other water birds? We saw 28 species. The 3 Harris Hawks on the lamppost was brilliant.
