SO GAS. We've tried the octopus tacos, fish tacos, and their aguachile. All were SO good and my family has already gone multiple times.

Terrible service! Drive all the way out to the lot the food truck was parked in and nobody was there. Every source and even their website said they were open 9am-6:30pm. That's clearly a load of bs as they never opened. In addition to this they never had a voicemail set up and for over 10 minutes of calling nobody answered the phone. All their social media accounts backed up that they were open 9-6:30 so the fact I wasted my gas and time and couldn't be given the courtesy of being told they are closed is highly outrageous. I would not recommend to anyone unless you are looking to waste your time and gas as well. I would give 0/5 stars if possible but since the lowest is 1 then I will leave it at 1. Once again absolutely horrendous service and to anyone reading this I would absolutely avoid at all costs! read more

I always drive by this food truck parked here in Chula Vista and decided to give them a try. So glad I did, because now I have a good taco truck option close to home. I just ordered a shrimp and a fish taco. Probably should have tried more because the other orders that were coming out of the truck looked very appetizing. The tacos I ordered were delicious. I really liked that the batter on the fish wasn't too thick or overwhelming. The tomatoes, onions and cabbage were fresh and crisp. I think the sauces they give you really elevate the tacos. A chipotle cream sauce and a cilantro sauce really upped the flavor profile. Overall, a good spot for a taco craving. We enjoyed fish tacos , a shrimp taco , aguachile, cóctel de pulpo and tuna tostada.We liked our tacos a lot a bit pricey though. The aguachile was pretty good spice and good amount for a tostada. The octopus cocktail was super plain not sure what it was missing but needed something. The tuna tostada was okay but wished they added the tostada on the side because it was a big soggy mess when we got home. We had also had the aguachile spill all over the bag. Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. It's located on the side of one of Eastlake's main streets in a parking lot right off the road. Kind of super random placement not gonna lie but also convenient at the same time to local residents. Looking at past reviews, it does sound like this truck is newer and replaced another one. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Birria and it was amazing. The bread is buttered and toasted perfectly, and the birria tasted great. I honestly wouldn't order any tacos here, one taco was around 4-7 dollars EACH. They look really good but I wouldn't be able to justify one taco for $6 when you can get a whole burrito for around $10 from the same menu. I'm guessing the taco price is because most of the options are seafood. There are some tables under a huge tent right in front of the truck, so seating wasn't an issue at all. They also have condiments and napkins on the tables so you don't have to worry about getting messy! read more

Can't believe I haven't gone to this food truck until recently when a friend of mine invited my to grab a bite after playing tennis at the Eastlake Club just down the street from the hill this spot sits on. There is a dedicated (gravel) parking lot as well as a tent setup with bench seating--a big plus and the staff keeps the tables wiped down frequently. The Taco Tuesday special on discounted fish tacos is a great deal, and the portions are filling. I went for pick up and when I got home they had not customized my order as I requested. How hard is it to skip the mayo or any ingredient with mayo (chipotle sauce)? We found this seafood truck when we were driving down Eastlake street , my husband loves seafood and decided stop and try it out. He has probably ordered every single taco on the menu , his personal favorite are the spicy shrimp tacos , aguachiles and a tostada de ceviche! I am a HUGE fan of the ceviche here, one of my favorites! The only thing that upset me about this place is their Instagram; they have their hours posted, Monday-Saturday, 9 am-6:45 pm. I was meeting my family at the food truck at 6 pm for a quick bite to eat. I got there 5 mins before 6, ordered my food and waited. The rest of my family got there right at 6pm and they closed. I ordered a green agua chile and it was overflowing with shrimp and then ordered 2 large shrimp cocktails and the cup itself was HUGE! every time i come here i have a bad experience. i went just right now for an order i placed on the phone, after i placed the order i called back 2 minutes later to change the order and the girl who took it the first time said they already made the food and i couldn't change it? not a big deal but any other place would've let me change it especially bc i called back so soon. next they forgot to add my aguachile when i came to pick it up, i called to let them know & they didn't say sorry or anything and they said they can refund me another day and i can come back? so i came all the way back for it. the younger girl at the window didn't even say anything , just handed it to me which is a shame. this was a big inconvenience & they didn't even seem like they cared or was apologetic about it and mind you my order was $40 worth of food that i had to drive all the way back for just to get the whole order i bought. this place has good food but lacks customer service BIG TIME and for that reason i will not be back. read more
