    Fish tacos

Best fish tacos in town! Especially during taco Tuesdays!! Food truck in a church parking lot. Patio dining. Super casual. Quick service and specially when you have a steady flow of people coming in & out.

$4.16 for a fish taco. Apparently fish tacos are $2.50 on Taco Tuesdays. Music is a little louder than I would prefer.

For coming at lunchtime, this place had lots of customers and had the pleasure of talking to a few that come regularly. Nice shaded patio area for food truck, which is nice during sunny San Diego summers. They also had heaters and music, which is nice specially since it's cooling down this winter. I got aguachile verde and quesabirria. The quesabirria was good but they limes with no juice at all and a tiny amount of sauce. The aquachiles was excellent and better than most of the restaurants i have had it at. If you're simply driving the Southbay or you're looking for a good place to get lunch during work, I recommend this place.

Hands down the Best Carne Asda Fries in Chula Vista! Cheaper than TEG but has more flavor and their sauce is AMAZING!

Fish and shrimp tacos. Don't sleep on those sauces.

I always drive by this food truck parked here in Chula Vista and decided to give them a try. So glad I did, because now I have a good taco truck option close to home. I just ordered a shrimp and a fish taco. Probably should have tried more because the other orders that were coming out of the truck looked very appetizing. The tacos I ordered were delicious. I really liked that the batter on the fish wasn't too thick or overwhelming. The tomatoes, onions and cabbage were fresh and crisp. I think the sauces they give you really elevate the tacos. A chipotle cream sauce and a cilantro sauce really upped the flavor profile. Overall, a good spot for a taco craving. I definitely have to return to try some of their other items on their menu.

    Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. It's located on the side of one of Eastlake's main streets in a parking lot right off the road. Kind of super random placement not gonna lie but also convenient at the same time to local residents. Looking at past reviews, it does sound like this truck is newer and replaced another one. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Birria and it was amazing. The bread is buttered and toasted perfectly, and the birria tasted great. I honestly wouldn't order any tacos here, one taco was around 4-7 dollars EACH. They look really good but I wouldn't be able to justify one taco for $6 when you can get a whole burrito for around $10 from the same menu. I'm guessing the taco price is because most of the options are seafood. There are some tables under a huge tent right in front of the truck, so seating wasn't an issue at all. They also have condiments and napkins on the tables so you don't have to worry about getting messy!

SO GAS. We've tried the octopus tacos, fish tacos, and their aguachile. All were SO good and my family has already gone multiple times.

The fish taco and shrimp cocktail are super! Must try place in Eastlake. Try to avoid lunch time, they are too busy and hard to find seats.

I honestly can't taste the difference between the two, I just knew I wanted to keep eating them(even after eating 3). Sturdy tortillas so the tacos weren't falling apart as I was eating, I also really liked that each table had two squeeze bottles of salsa, so convenient -orden/order, if you come here, you have to order this soup with the head meat. It's the essence that sums up the restaurant, it's a little peppery with the sweetness from the diced onions and meaty goodness. It comes with about 4 tortillas and there's a lot of meat in the soup to be made into more tacos Ambiance 5/5 -restaurant was full of people eating food happily(obviously the food was delicious) and there was a guy that sang for donations and vendors that came through selling trinkets, just a mixing pot of life and happy place to eat

I've had the pulpo tostada and taco multiple times and they're always amazing, super fresh and never overcooked. I usually get the macho sauce on the side so I can spice it up to my level lol. My family has also tried the tuna tostada, micheladas, chilaquiles, and even Dino nuggets for the kids, everything has been consistently great every time we go. The service is always on point, the ambiance is nice, and it's in a great central location. We usually stop by Wood Market afterward to grab a few things. Everyone running the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating to special diet needs as well. I'm glad we tried this establishment. It was quite busy that day, but there was still plenty of parking, and they had booths to sit and enjoy the experience. Portions were large - we all had leftovers to take home. I would love to come back and try more of the menu!

These tacos were delicious, juicy, packed, and crafted so wonderfully. The people were very nice, and i loved that they had the salsas at the table with chili oil. I had never thought that chili oil would be good with tacos? But it works! The carne asada here is the star of the show. We had a al pastor one and it was ok but not better than the carne. This place was so good we came twice on our trip (we had wanted to try new restaurants every day but this place was so good we had to come again) - now we did go to Tacos el Gordo and all I'll say is if you love carne asada go to Chulas, but if you like a pork taco go to Tacos el Gordo! **One of my main issues with tacos is that the tortillas are thin/dry? I'm a handmade kind of tortilla person don't like the banderitas brand style of tortillas - now they said they didn't make these by hand but they're definitely not the prepackaged ones.

They were very wet and didn't even taste seasoned. Also they put way too much guac on the tacos. The pastor was the most flavorful. I've had better tacos even outside of San Diego. This place was overhyped and not worth the hour drive I made.

First, I ordered an adobada taco. The meat wasn't cooked properly on the trompo why ? :( then they threw it on the grill and ended up burning it. That completely defeats the point of even having a trompo if you're just going to burn the meat afterward. It had a bitter, burnt taste. Next, I got a carne asada taco, and it was completely overcooked and dry:(honestly, drier than the Mojave Desert. The tortilla was hard and didn't taste fresh at all. Nothing about the tacos tasted like the quality I remember. The customer service was just as disappointing. I stood in front of the carne asada guy for about 5 minutes before he even acknowledged me. What made that worse was that there were no other customers there t wasn't busy at all. The workers seemed more focused on talking and laughing with each other than paying attention to the food or the customers. I even think I saw what might've been the owner there, which makes this even more frustrating because this place used to be good. It feels like they're letting it go downhill. I'm giving this a one-star review, but I'm being honest when I say I actually want this place to get better. I'll give them one more chance in the future, but as of right now, this was a really bad experience.
