Did I just step into the Island Life!! What a great and relaxing atmosphere. The drinks are like art pieces! Very creative and beautiful presentation, a perfect balance of alcohol to ingredients. The food is super tasty and original. Service is excellent and friendly. Come here you will not be sorry

Wonderful little bar to take you away to a Tiki Vacation. The service was excellent. They were attentive which we appreciated as we wanted to have a couple of rounds. The featured drink of Tsunami Unami was funky and flavorful. We loved the Lumpia! Can't wait to come back and try more drinks on the menu. Great selection of small plates that are filling. Such a good bar!!

We are from New Mexico, and in the area for a family event. Decided to check out Three 9 Lounge before driving to the airport, and I'm glad we did. So much immersive tiki decoration, delicious cocktails, and a wall of bottles of rum. I ordered the Buddha and was delighted by the figurine glass it came in. Nice touch. I hope we make it back. Meanwhile, West Seattle, you've got a great little place here.

This place is pretty dang cool! You definitely need to be a fan of rum, and if you like rum and tiki bars, this place is surprisingly awesome! We went here after bowling next door, and after wanting to stop in for a while, we were glad we did! The service was fast and friendly! They were nice and knowledgeable and the food turnaround was fairly quick. Vegetarian wife ordered the Crispy Tofu Sliders which were substantial portions - to the point where maybe it is too big to be a slider! Great deal for $13! The Ponzu Steak tips we ordered were okay. Great flavor, but came out a little closer to cold than hot. Which made them sightly tougher to eat. The cocktail list here was awesome! Lots of fun drinks that come in whimsical or unique glassware and presentation. Even something more simple like the air mail comes with a unique stamp. Definitely will be coming back, especially for the cocktails!

Went on Valentine's Day, we reserved our valentines dinner and bowling online. Dim lighting and relaxed atmosphere with a tiki vibe and decor. Plenty of booth, bar, and bench type seating. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. We loved our pu pu platter and mai tai cocktails! Definitely will return again for a night of drinks and bowling!

This place blew me away! I felt like I was teleported to another land and was instantly at ease. The vibe is immaculate, fun colors and a relaxing atmosphere. It's well decorated and not overstimulating. I got the troubled waters and was obsessed with the presentation! It was like my own mini fish bowl with gummy sharks. The waiters were so cool and I loved the space, so I ended up ordering another. The best part? It's connected to a retro bowling alley!

If you're a tiki fan, you absolutely should make this a priority to visit. The food is good and the drinks are even better. Ambiance is what you would think and the service is fast and friendly. I would recommend the shrimp tacos (even if your a little meh on shrimp!).

I love the vibe at Three 9 Lounge for a group hang outs, trivia night, musical bingo and date night! I frequently have meetups here with friends and love that we can have craft cocktails, delicious bites (especially the fried rice bowl with tofu) in a tropical atmosphere then hit the lanes for bowling after. A solid night out in West Seattle, cheers to Three 9! P.S. the options for mock-tails for Dry January have been delightful!

I'd seen that this new Tiki Bar was open in West Seattle and I hadn't had an opportunity to stop in until now. I have to say that I've been to a lot of bars in the are and am SUPER impressed with the Three 9 Lounge. It's a surprising refreshing change for West Seattle, we totally needed a tiki lounge. Even though it's 40 degrees and overcast outside, I can feel a little if that feeling come back from my tropical vacations. The service is really great, almost like a resort where they make sure you have a drink and are having a good time. I didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but planning on coming back as there were some great things on the menu, particularly the chicken lumpia! The bar had some comfortable stools and there are some nice 2-person booths, if I ever get a date to go with me. Music choices were great the night I'm here, a real great way to end the weekend.

This tiki bar is so fun! We came in on a Monday night as a party of 3 at about 9:30 PM. I ordered the "Troubled Waters" and this drink is the most fabulous and dramatic one I have had in 2023! My drink came in a fish bowl, with a glowy ice cube, plastic mermaid, SHARK GUMMIES, mint leaves and a pineapple slice. This tequila Prosecco drink was magical both visually and how it tasted. I out tiki-ed my company, and it was wonderful. I felt like the belle of the ball (well the bar) with this drink!

The restaurant is pretty inside! The bar area is cool! The drinks are AMAZING! I tried the Mai Tai and banana cocktails. The bar tender/server was our bartender and made the drinks in front of us! We got 2 starters, the roti massaman -- the curry was so good with this! The fish cakes were outstanding and one of a kind! My bf and I shared a chicken pad Thai! So good! A few more ppl started trickling in too. They had America's funniest videos on!

Food came out fairly quick. Environment was cozy, inviting, love the sound of trickling water from the fountain. Although Friday night wasn't busy, I hope this review boosts their rating for patrons to come & try food at Bang Bar. I gave it a try 8/9 years ago and things have really turned around! I definitely will come back again for dinner. Overall, great experience and one of the better Thai restaurants in this part of town.

I got a kick out of both Star Wars and SpongeBob being played on the bar TVs while we decided on our order! Loved the chill vibe here. We ordered pickle chips to split-these were INCREDIBLE-they came with ranch, and they were crispy and chewy. They were addicting, and not greasy, oily or heavy in the batter they used to fry them. These managed to be both filling and light. Absolute win. I ordered an ABV free drink, True North. This was one of my favorite drinks I have ever had. I loved this combination of lime, ginger beer, hibiscus and the Pathfinder Hemp & Root. This was my first time trying this line of ABV free spirit, and I was blown away. True North was refreshing, not too sweet, bubbly and bright. We will definitely be coming back-there were lots of foods and cocktails we wanted to try.

The food: expensive for what it is. Long ago dear reader, this Goblin worked in food service. He can spot "ready-made foods" from a mile away. This place leans more "eating to satiate", than "eating to satisfy", no matter how hard I fight my Goblin brain. Each meal, I come to terms with the sucker I am for eating a $27 omelette before tip. Herein lies our problem dear reader. Do I want a hummus plate for $12-15, that is essentially a disassembled and then reassembled menagerie of pre-made product on a plate? Or how about a cup of some mid-gumbo for $8? As a Goblin I have eaten many old soups out of a dirty cauldron, but Mid-Gumbo tastes like how Jack Harlow must feel waking up and telling himself he got blacker. Concerning the food (and Jack Harlow), it's about more than just lack of seasoning.

The quality of the coffee was amazing easily one of the best I've had in Seattle. I also appreciated their efficient setup: the barista takes your order and makes it at the same time. We came by on a Sunday late afternoon for what we thought would be a quick dinner, and it ended up being such a lovely meal. We ordered the pad thai, pad kee mao, banh xeo, and the mango trout. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, everything came out in a timely manner and tasted so fresh and thoughtfully prepared. One thing I really appreciated was how flavorful and tender the meats were in each dish. You could tell the proteins were marinated and cared for before being added in, instead of just tossed into a noodle dish as an afterthought like I've experienced at other places. It made such a difference. The mango trout was such a standout. The trout was a great size, and the mango was firm, crunchy, and fresh, which I absolutely loved. The banh xeo was also delicious: thin, crispy, and served with fresh herbs that weren't wilted at all. The nuoc mam was perfect too, not overly sweet, light, balanced, and just right with the banh xeo. Portions were generous, and we ended up taking food home because we couldn't finish everything. That is always a good problem to have. Most of all, I really want to mention how welcoming the service was. Lynda took such great care of us and made the whole experience feel warm and personal. You can tell this is a place with heart behind it, and I truly hope more people in the neighborhood give it a try. Parking can be a wee bit tricky so waking, ride share, or public transit will be your best options. But if you have to drive we found a paid lot a few blocks away While this wasn't the best tiki bar we've ever been to, it did stand out for the presentation of drinks, the cool (and massive) octopus, the immersion, and overall vibe is nice and atmospheric They have four non-alcoholic options which I really appreciated as the one driving for the night! They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice. This one you could taste the rum more and overall it was a really enjoyable drink and experience - "See A Light" which is a non-alcoholic option and the taste was just as good as the presentation. Came in a lovely angler fish tiki mug with the light and everything! The taste was complex and something that thought went into creating - "Four Boys" another non-alcoholic option that was the coolest visual as it came in a "steaming" crock pot. First and foremost, you need to make a reservation. I did end up needing to move my reservation up because of scheduling but it worked out and the staff were really nice about helping me. This is a speakeasy inside Rumba, I did not know that going in. It's incredibly cool to walk into the bar. The decor is amazing. It's super small though with a few tables and bar seating. It was kinda loud when I was there since most tables were filled. My server was nice as well and was able to answer all my questions. Ambiance was exceptional and is such a cool place to visit. Most of the cocktails came with fancy show of some sort and were extravagant - and equally delicious. I got The Inside Passage, but there were at least three others I was trying to chose from. There was a lot of thought that went into the presentation of each of the drinks and I love that attention to detail. Since it was around dinner time I did want to order food and drink. They did not have the Kikisoba (they ran out) and that made me sad, but I was able to order the Rumba sliders and a basket of fries. I'm not a huge sliders fan, and I did order the caramelized pineapple on the side. The sliders were incredibly flavorful and the perfect size. For anyone wanting to visit Seattle, I do highly recommend this place. It's a really cool vibe and the food is really good too.
