Great find! 8 pm on a Saturday night, the place was full, and there is no doubt why. Even though they were busy, our server, Cloe, was phenomenal. She was friendly, engaging, and cheerful all while keeping her tables covered. We never wanted for anything. Each member of the staff we encountered was similarly upbeat and industrious. Some unique beers, some stand bys, all excellent. The food was delicious. The outdoor patio has firepits, chat areas for large groups and small, high tables, and low tables- something for everyone. We were seated promptly, but it took the waitress quite some time to come take our drink order. The restaurant had a steady flow of people. I ordered a pumpkin beer which took some time to arrive at the table, and I had to ask about. Either way it was a decent pumpkin beer. The menu has an assortment of handhelds, tacos, pizzas, salads, and entrees. We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer and customized a pizza as an entree. It was plenty of food for two people. For my second beer, I tried the cold IPA which was also very good. Service continued to be slow, but the beer and food were good. I would go back if we were ever in the area. This place would probably do better as a tasting room with a few small plates. I feel like there is a little bit too much going on here for it to be great at anything. If you want to focus on the restaurant, focus on the food. If you want to be a brewery (which would probably be a strong point of this place), focus on the beer and offer a few appetizers. read more

The brewery has a very nice outdoor patio with tables, chairs, and fire tables. I did not try any food. Only stopped in for a beer. I had the Palisades Porter and was not impressed. Service is up and down. This place gets so jam packed and busy that sometimes the waitresses don't have a lot of time to make you feel good there. However they do greet with smiles and tend to keep them drinks filled and flowing. Food is always hot and the pizza is delicious! The farm burger alone still makes my mouth water. Cheese curds just aren't a hit imo. The chocolate cake is absolutely rich and delicious. It is a large slice 3 to 4 can def share and feel good about it lol. The blueberry lavender cider was one of the most delicious ciders I've ever had. They have a really spacious, comfortable waiting area outside. Buffalo chicken dip had no chicken in it & Small portion of chips. Buffalo chicken wrap had minimal chicken fingers inside- so tiny. My mushroom onion melt had way too much salt, and the burger patty barely filled a half the sandwich (minimal mushrooms and onions too). Amazing experience! We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table, but the outdoor bar/seating area made the wait enjoyable. My review has as much to do with the kindness we received while we were there as with the food and drink. I was in Western Michigan for the weekend with my husband and a friend, and our friend started to feel ill just before we pulled into the restaurant parking lot. By the time she reached the table she was very nauseous and weak. I signaled to one of the servers to let her know what was going on, and to ask if we could get her a glass of water right away. She let us know that she was a CNA in her other job, and immediately gave us some great recommendations on things to try to ease her nausea. My husband and I each had a beer (mine was the Soulless, an American red ale, and was delicious), and ordered a couple appetizers to munch on until we could see whether our friend would feel good enough to stay and have lunch (the Soft Pretzels and Blondie Bread, also very good, especially the Blondie Bread). As it ended up, we decided to leave when she didn't feel much better after an hour and a dose of anti-nausea meds. We ended up taking her to an urgent care in Holland (one of the closest, and in the right direction toward our hotel in Grand Rapids) where diagnosed her with a minor infection and gave her some meds. By then she was feeling much better, but we greatly appreciate the caring and compassion of the CNA/server at Three Blondes, who even helped my husband walk her out to our car. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and have lunch. We're already planning a return trip to the area, and will be sure to put a stop at Three Blondes on our list! read more

Fantastic microbrewery with a good selection of interesting and seasonal brews, cider and wine. Yes, I said it... This place has something for everyone unless you want some fruit juice then you might want to call ahead and ask. I'm not exactly a beer person so I only wanted a 5 oz of their King Ruby; a raspberry Berliner Weisse. I liked it, the raspberry flavor was quite strong, tangy but not overwhelming like other sour beers I have had. My husband got a flight so I got to try some of the Dill With It! That was such a surprising and unexpected flavor for a beer. My brain kept thinking I should be crunching on some cucumber salad but I was drinking it instead. Husband thought it tasted refreshing but I was mostly confused. I like to eat my cucumber salad. The last I tried was called The BBA team; a BBA barleywine. That was probably my favorite of all of them. The flavors were so complex. Aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrel, the bourbon scent immediately hits you as you take your first sip. Then the strong aroma quickly disseminated and is then replaced with some hints of coffee and dark chocolate. I'm not exactly sure if those were the flavors I was supposed to be getting but what I got were definitely nice flavor combinations enough to win me over to the dark side. I also had some of their pinot grigio and I did like it. I tried their seasonal and their one other cider and liked both. We also ordered some buffalo wings and they were delicious and fried to wonderful crispness. The sauce was absolutely amazing but could have been slightly more spicy for a buffalo sauce. We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The outdoor seating was plentiful, they sanitize properly after every client, and the staff were so fantastic and helpful. PS. After a packed town during covid and a trip to Walmart we found this place. It met the mark. Food was decent. Steak was a little tough in my cheesesteak and my wife's steak tacos. She loved her truffle fries. Bring in Heinz ketchup not generic junk. Needed more beer cheese on sandwich. Pissed me that a side was a fee. Ditto for 2nd dressing for splitting a dressing. Lovely Brewery in South Haven. About a 5 minute drive from Lake Michigan and away from the downtown area. They have a great outdoor space! If the weather was a bit warmer we would've totally been out there. The food was delicious. Steak was Medium Rare just as ordered and the maple vinaigrette on the salad was Devine. We are on vacation here from southern Indiana, and love to eat at local breweries. Despite being a brewery, I think Three Blondes does a better job of making food than brewing beer. My braised beef sando was quite tasty - flavorful and tender. I opted for the side of tater tots, which I thought was a clever twist on the usual fries, and found them to be good but not exceptional - they would have been better with a little black pepper or other seasoning for more flavor. Both of the beers I ordered were decent; refreshing on a warm summer evening, but light on flavor. The atmosphere is very family friendly. We waited about 40 minutes for a table on a weekday evening, and they have a nice setup with both outdoor and indoor areas where you can wait until your table is ready. read more

As a vegetarian, it is hard to find a restaurant that both my carnivorous husband and I both love. Well, we found it!!! I had the veggie burger with grilled pineapple and it was AMAZING. It is made in house with black bean and sweet potatoes and it definitely crave worthy. I also tried the Korean Brussels sprouts- yum! They are spicy, but not overpowering. It was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. My husband had the burger and said it was cooked perfectly. He got fries as well and enjoyed them. But, he loved the beer most. Between the 7 of us who ate there, we sampled quite a few and were never disappointed. My favorite was the Boom Boom. We also had kids with us and while they gobbled their food up, they were most excited about their frisbee plate that they were able to take home. The place was very busy and had an uplifting, fun vibe. We were seated outside which was perfect t for the kids. They played bags and drew with sidewalk chalk while we waited for our food. The location to this restaurant is tricky. When you find it there's a nice setup and classy beach type atmosphere. The wait staff bickered about takes before they seated us. I like a Hefeweizen but they didn't really have anything equivalent. We opted for a 5oz Wake and Lake. The bulgogi tots are DELICIOUS also had the Jazzy Faye pizza and added onions.
