A mom & pop restaurant that seems to do mostly takeout business. Interior is plain and usually not crowded. They serve very generous servings of most Americanized Chinese staples; a couple of Thai and Japanese dishes makes it "Asian" and not just Chinese. The "hot" items like General Tso's Chicken are spicy but not obnoxiously so. The glazes and oils are light and really bring out the flavor of the ingredients--I suppose my favorite is the Cashew Chicken, although I've enjoyed most everything I've ordered so far. I usually have House of Lu delivered via Uber Eats. I wasn't in the mood to pay the $5.99 delivery fee, so I was on the hunt for a replacement. After reading countless reviews, I landed on this place. I decided to eat in vs. having it delivered. If you are looking for frills and high decor, this is not your place. There was a man seated and a table being cleaned as I walked in. During my time there you can tell their business comes from take out orders. I wanted Szechuan chicken but their lunch menu only had beef or shrimp. No problem. The hot & sour soup came out right away and was delicious. The entree came out and it was a solid portion of food. It wasn't as spicy as I like, but still quite good. The egg roll was tasty but a little doughy inside. I ordered a Diet Coke and it was a can with a cup of ice, so drink slowly or you will end up having to buy another can. With a tip, my meal was less than $10 and I have plenty left for another plate full. I will definitely be back. read more

I had been craving chinese food for over 3 weeks now. I'm so glad I came here. The lunch special is more than enough to food to get you through the rest of the day. I got the General Tso chicken kinda sweet (I like spicy) but great flavor. I love that you can tell that the chicken is chicken some Chinese restaurants are suspect. I ordered from here today,trying to give this place another chance. I ordered teriyaki chicken, which was nothing more than a little bit of flavor less and a whole bunch of peppers and onions. No napkins or forks. I contracted the owner about my order he was rude and sarcastic. He said just pick out the chicken, I commented about the lack of napkins and forks, he says they don't normally give those out with the orders,you have to ask. Never again will I spend almost $30 in this place, or any amount at all. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I ordered food for delivery and before I could give the guy my card number on the phone he hung up, so i called back and gave it to him, but after I told him my card number he hung up the phone right away AGAIN!!! So I had to call back again and some woman answered the phone. I told her to make sure i have sweet and sour sauce. I would order here pretty often when I worked in the area.. the first few times were really good but then they stared slipping??!!! Ordered sweet & sour pork.... Not sure what I got but it was definitely not sweet & sour pork. It was deep fried batter and potatoes with 2 - 3 pieces of meat. The woman who took my order said delivery would be 40 to 50 minutes. It took an hour and half and when I called about it the woman was extremely rude and hung up on me. Everything tasted fantasic except the egg rolls and friend rice. The chicken was funky tasting and rubbery and the egg rolls were just really soggy. The crab rangoons were ok. The orange chicken was horrible. It was like orange flavoring in corn syrup. The chicken was overcooked. The sesame chicken was the exact same same as orange chicken but with a teaspoon of sesame seeds dumped on top and a minimal amount of broccoli. My husband and I can't stop raving about this place. The general tso's chicken was amazing. The portion was huge and it was white and cooked to perfection. It was a tad bit peppery for my taste, but my husband couldn't get enough. The pork lo mein was to die for, the cabbage in it was so good and the pork was perfectly cooked. The pork fried rice was also extremely enjoyable. The delivery seemed to be very fast and the service was friendly. I can't understand why the average stars of this place is only three stars. I have eaten here MANY times! And the food is ALWAYS good! Why, then, do I give it only 1 star, you ask? Well, tonight, they cheated me! We ordered our usual and I was surprised when the price was different...but figured it might be because we got a different rice than we usually get. It was $2 cheaper! Well, when my husband got home with the food...there was NO rice and we were given SMALL plates instead of the Large ones! They didnt charge us for the rice so that was OK. I have lived off Barnes Mill Rd. in Marietta for the past 13 years and have ordered multiple times from pretty much anyone that delivers to that area, during that time, and I can honestly say that I loved the food from Three Color Asian Kitchen. Furthermore, I am a former chef and my wife runs a popular food blog. I rarely write reviews myself, but I truly wanted to express how I felt about ordering food from this restaurant. We ordered vegetable egg rolls, hot and sour soup, Singapore mei fun, and sesame chicken. The egg rolls were standard which I expect from any delivery/takeout place. The soup was well thickened, but very delicious and enjoyable. What really stood out was the quality and portion size of the Singapore noodles and the sesame chicken. These dishes more than exceeded my expectations. They were not only served delicious and in abundant portion, they also demonstrated the utmost in quality and freshness. I was actually shocked at how crispy and fresh the sesame chicken was delivered to us, and the noodles were absolutely delicious. I will most certainly order from this establishment going forward and hope they continue to provide the same quality of product. Although I have had their food only once, I would definitely consider this restaurant a superior value if they prove to sell this quality of food consistently in the future. B & D read more

I dont understand these reviews. Our meal was very mediocre, totally Americanized Chinese food. Orange beef was way too sweet - pretty much just fried breading. Had no beef taste at all! This is my first time ordering here. Didn't have such high expectations just wanted generic Chinese delivery. They delivered it right in time. I was pleased with the delivery time. Delivery driver was extremely nice and respectful. However the bad part was the food. We ordered teriyaki and cashew chicken. We couldn't even figure out which was which. The "teriyaki" chicken did not have any flavor at all and had literally 3-4 pieces of chicken with the entire container being filled with bell peppers and onions that were so caramelized that they were basically just a pile of mush. As far as the cashew chicken it was basically the same with a few pieces of chicken in mostly vegetables. It was honestly the worst food I have ever tasted in my life.
