My office just got takeout and it was the worst. I ordered a grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was a joke. The chicken was almost non existent. Cheap drinks and good food. Came here with a group of 5 on a Monday night and it wasn't packed. They have different seating options and the rooftop outside is perfect for warm nights. The wings were definitely a good pair for some beers or cocktails. read more

The fish taco's here were amazing. I was beyond surprised at how delicious they were. The bartenders knew what they were doing as all our drinks were very good. The service was fantastic, personable, friendly and friendly. It did take a while for the food tom come out but it was packed there and we weren't in any rush. Prices weren't bad at all, compared to where I live in the North East they were rather inexpensive. I'm not in Atlanta much, but I would come back if ever in the area! read more

The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the drinks were good. Besides that don't eat the food, especially the sampler platter. The onion rings were cold and tasted like the oil is never changed. The mozzarella sticks were ok but you can taste it was the same oil as the rings. Nachos we're cold and soggy with all the cheese on the bottom of the nachos . The meat was cold and looked very old And dry. And I am not even going to get started on the strips. On Saturday, July 03,2021 we went to this location off of Chamblee Tucker Road and was racially discriminated by the so called Asian OWNER. A party of three of us went to watch the Hawks playoff game and get some food. The shrimp were cold from heat and I brought it to his attention and he got a serious nasty attitude. He refused to continue to serve our table, we repeatedly tried to get service at our table and he ignored us. I got up and went and ask for a manger and arrogantly he said I'm the owner and became very belligerent and asked us to leave and threaten to call the police. We had not completed our meal and the manager came over and states he is young and doesn't know how to deal with people. We left paid the tab and did not finish our meal. Grant it you are dealing with highly educated black people with careers over 20 years and no threat to anyone. This was blant discrimination and I will be contacting corporate on Tuesday July 06. Went back to TDC after the recent ownership change. Place had no energy like before. Sparse crowd. Food was tasty but portions were noticeably smaller. Clearly changed things up. In fact most of the wings were teeny tiny. Burger was smaller too. Not a very good value for what you pay. I think the place has taken a step backwards. I have been eating at Three Dollar Cafe's ever since the original opened on Roswell Road back in the 80's, but this location is absolutely horrible! First of all, once seated, it took at least 10-15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and the service never got any faster (the place was at about 40% capacity). We initially ordered their blue cheese chips to get started. Blue cheese chips here are different from other locations. At the other locations, they put fresh made potato chips in an oven with fresh blue cheese sprinkled over them and melt it. At this location, they pour some potato chips on a plate and dump blue cheese salad dressing on them. To add insult to injury, their "fresh made chips" tasted like they were fried in old grease (really OLD grease!). Also, the blue cheese dressing makes the chips soggy by the time you get them. I ordered the buffalo wings and shrimp combo. The wings were undercooked and the shrimp fried to the point that they had the consistency of rubber. I get this same combo at the West Midtown location all the time, and it is perfect every time. I ate about half of my dish. I would have sent the food as well as the chips back, but we could never find our server (well, actually we did, my dining mate finally found him in the back near the kitchen on his cell phone talking with his girlfriend). My dining mates got wings (they didn't finish) and burgers (they said they were "okay" but nothing to write home about). It's my understanding that these TDC locations are franchised out which would explain the wide variance. Roswell Road (the original) and West Midtown both remain excellent places for wings, but I will never return to this location - not recommend any else waste their time (or money). read more

What a difference an order makes. Or time, I suppose. I visited with a friend as this was close to his home and he is a picky eater. He knew this place would have items that would eat. Even though my first experience was not the best, I agreed to go. I ordered a USA salad with grilled chicken. Surprise! - comes with bread. Yum. The salad was huge and offered a great number of toppings. Chicken was cooked very well. They provided tons of salad dressing. More than enough, really. My friend got chicken fingers and fries and enjoyed them. I think he also got something else, but forget. He polished off as much as he could before he got stuffed. I ended up eating a bunch of the fries and they were great. This experience by itself would have been 5 stars. But between the two, I am averaging to 4 stars. Another visit and who knows! read more

This was conveniently located nearby Mr. Cues billiards and since that pool hall was packed when my fiancé and I got there, we decided to try this restaurant out first. We've both have never been here before and my first thought was that the name of the place could've been a bit more creative. Aside from that, the inside atmosphere felt very alive to me. TV's everywhere, nice sized bar, high top tables, the right kind of decor, and an upstairs patio with TV's in there too. Our waiter was polite and informative on the menu. He made us good recommendations on both the foods and drinks. I ordered crispy fish tacos with guacamole on the side and my fiancé ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was so good! And they didn't skimp on the portion size either! For drinks, we got TicTacs which was strong yet didn't taste like it was; my fiancé said they really did remind him of Tic Tacs Haha. I also asked for a SPICY drink and the bartender made something with Absolut Cilantro and spicy it was! Seriously, that's my favorite drink right now. Had such a wonderful time here and will be back! The service was great! I wish I could remember her name. She was friendly and personable, just the right recipe to having a good time. She helped us select our food and her choice of the Grouper sandwich was right on point. The serving size was large enough to serve two people but I must have been hungry because I ate the whole thing. It was also an added bonus having our food delivered by the chef. The drinks were good as well. You can't beat $3 drinks anywhere. I love the fact that they have outdoor seating, located upstairs. So while you eat you're overlooking the balcony and enjoying what little bit of scenery they have. It overlooks in to a parking lot, not much to look at but nice nonetheless. The wings were good, however, the service was slow on a Sunday during a football game. As I came in, I asked to be seated upstairs where there sea open air due to Covid. They stated it was reserved. I have been here a couple of hours and have yet to see a large party being seated there. Don't lie about a large party. You just don't want people sitting up there. Two servers. One bar tender with a large crowd. Wtf? No social distancing. I also ordered a Long Beach iced tea and received a Long Island instead. I'm not even sure why we tried to go to this establishment other than our friend wanted to stop. There are signs up regarding the COVID restrictions and what the restaurant has implemented but NOTHING was followed. I didn't seen sanitizer anywhere and the use of masks was few and far between. There was a manager there (who I believe is mentioned in another comment) that did nothing to help his staff even though they were obviously overwhelmed with the amount of tables. He simply stayed in his little booth and watched everyone else run around him. We will NEVER be back. I discovered this place thanks to my husband and this is my to go place everytime I'm craving for wings. The price is reasonable and the wings are good size. It is crunchy and saucy...just how I like it. The only thing I don't like is they are a bit skimpy on the ranch and they charge if you want more. Ordered take out after work - took an hour! For two salads and 10 piece wings. Food was ok - not horrible. Guess I didn't learn my lesson, thought if I called in the order and then picked it up it would run smoother. My fiancé texted me to let me know that they didn't have an order for us, after taking and running our credit card. I called and the women were extremely rude on the phone! They claimed to not understand me - I have a South African accent. They eventually found the food and then scolded me because it was cold. Saying that if they say 15mins it means 15mins! They placed me on hold (or so they thought) and had a conversation with each other about me, I'm so annoyed right now, I will NEVER EVER spend another cent at this disgusting place. Shame on you! My bf and I ordered wings and fries. WINGS AND FRIES. and it took 50 mins for us to get our order just for it to be COMPLETELY WRONG. We took the food back and when asked for the manager he was NOWHERE to be found for almost 20 mins. When we were finally able to speak with the manager he was rude. He proceeded to tell us that he checked the order himself and admitted guilt we asked if we could have the order corrected in less than 50 mins and he told us he couldn't guarantee that. WINGS AND FRIES! He then told us all he could do was refund us our money. They were not busy. The way he spoke to the staff was disrespectful. There was no reason he couldn't fix the order for us and his rudeness was unprofessional and insulting. We will never go back to this location. Not good. We've been coming to this location for about 3 years for the Tuesday burger lunch special. Our experiences have been poor to good (a month ago). Today's experience was very poor overall. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately. A few minutes later, the waiter in the next Section realized we had not been greeted by a waiter or waitress. He took our drink order and then about 10 minutes later the waitress and our drinks arrived and she took our lunch order. I ordered the patty melt, which turned out to be a mistake. The patty melt had very thick Rye-bread, a slice of unmelted cheese, and a bunch of uncooked purple onions. It did not taste good at all. I left 3/4 of it on the plate. I won't order this again. When we received our separate checks. The waitress entered them incorrectly in the computer and had to come back-and-forth numerous times to straighten out the credit card situation. My order was not correctly entered in the first place. We sat there for 33 minutes while all of this was sorted out with the waitress and the manager. As a result our lunch ended up lasting one hour and 25 minutes. We will not be returning until the service greatly improves. read more
