I believe their staff are still in training and figuring things out but they were all super friendly and kind, huge plus. There are plenty of seats inside with a long communal table on one side and multiple tables and chairs along the other side. Their menu is simple & basic (hope they add some specialty drinks eventually). Latte, americano, cappuccino, etc. they have almond/oat as dairy alternatives at no extra charge!! Order was an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and a nitro cold brew. Coffee flavor is good. I'd come back to work or study here and sip on that latte. Nitro cold brew was also good, very smooth. While the shop itself was cute with it's minimalist design and work-friendly environment, I didn't love the drinks. I ordered a hot vanilla latte with oatmilk. The syrups are not house-made (I asked), but they've been taken out of the original bottles so it's hard to tell what brand they use. If I had to guess, I'd say Torani. Either way, the latte was unimpressive and quite frankly, weak. I don't know if it was the beans they used or how they brewed it, but the espresso was thin and somewhat unbalanced. I got a strawberry matcha that is $7.50, and though it was good, for the price it wasn't quite worth it. It's a ceremonial grade matcha from Japan, and it has a vibrant green color. It has a more bitter and umami aftertaste, and it had a slight texture from the strawberries. I'd go back to try their coffee for sure! The ambiance was great and good for studying, too. read more

Why is it so hard to find good coffee in 626??!? !! leaflet coffee in Monterey park is so good but it's basically la. I gave this place enough chances. It's vibey and decent when you need espresso, but my god they're SO inconsistent with the drinks. My latte today tasted so odd, not sure how often they switch the beans but it's not as good as it used to be. This block of main Street Alhambra really has gotten popping in the last few years. This is one of my new favorite places to grab coffee and get some work done. They have great pour overs and a variety of other coffee and non-coffee drinks and solid Wi-Fi. I usually park in the structure a little further up on Garfield avenue but there is plenty of street parking as well. I love the ambiance the really friendly service and they actually also have some board games if you want to hang out with friends and play. I am a daily regular customer. I come by 7 days a week. I'll start off by saying that the drinks are 5 star. They are consistent and are good. This is where the problem is. As of late, the owner has only scheduled 1 person in the AM and more times than not i have to leave because there are just too many customers for 1 person to handle. As an owner, you can't expect 1 person to take orders, pull shots, warm up pastries, make matcha and also make a pour over drink and expect the product to be good and things move efficiently. It is disappointing to see the employees stressed out and having to apologize for the LOOONG wait, if i wait. If the owner reads this. What a cute little tea spot that just opened! The matcha latte was so delicious, rich, and flavorful! The barista and clerk was very friendly and welcoming.. there are not that many drinks to choose from but if you are a matcha lover like me, this is a pretty good spot for matcha latte. Was very excited to try out the new neighborhood coffee shop, but have decided that it did not meet my personal expectations. We ordered an iced Americano and an iced Hochija latte based off of the other reviews. The Americano was not for us and the Hochija was not sweet at all even though we added vanilla syrup. So glad that Alhambra has a new coffee spot. I visit friends in the area and it's always good to have a spot to go to for a meet up. We parked in the parking lot nearby. There was already people there and no seating available. By the time we ordered our drinks and waited for them, someone else was leaving so we managed to grab the table. There were a few people there on laptops so I imagine they stay for longer periods of time, which can make seating a hassle if you plan on staying there. Plenty of people were also taking their orders to go. When I was there, even the paramedics and firefighters came in for their coffee fix. They have a pretty good menu with coffee and teas. I went for a matcha latte (I saw a lot of people ordering matcha). It was a bit on the smaller side but still good enough. I like that they dusted it with matcha powder on top so it gave me an extra flavor boost. It was really good and not too milky and the matcha taste did come through. I would order this again. The drinks and food here are really good. I had the strawberry matcha latte and a pour-over coffee -- both were excellent. The pistachio croissant was a highlight, crispy on the outside and soft inside, though the outside was a bit burnt (not sure if that's intentional). The café itself has a very nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or studying. The only downside was the service; the staff looked like they hadn't fully woken up yet. I recommend the hojicha latte over the matcha latte. My friend got the matcha and it looked clumpy and tasted overwhelmingly of honey (they were out of simple syrup, so switched us to honey). Overall, I think there's better drinks I can spend $6 on, but it was a nice place to hangout and work. Good wifi and lots of outlets. Alhambra/ lower SGV desperately needed something like this! There are plenty of these coffee spots in Pasadena but so happy for a coffee shop to be open closer to the 10 fwy side of the SGV. The best part is that it's walking distance from my job! I've gotten the lavender latte twice. Once with oat milk and another time with macadamia milk. I prefer oat milk due to its thickness consistency. They don't up charge for milk alternatives but they do charge .50 cents for syrups. I love that they open early in the morning because I can drop by before work! I'm def going to be a regular here! read more

I was walking over to Uncle Fung and noticed this new coffee shop nearby, so I decided to check it out. The menu had multiple matcha and tea options (which I always prefer over coffee), so I gave it a shot. Service was friendly. It was quiet inside with people taking up all the tables working on laptops. The ambiance was modern and clean. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and a hojicha latte. Both looked great, but the matcha latte fell short on taste. There was none of that deep, earthy matcha flavor I was hoping for. While the matcha itself tasted fresh and not fishy, it was so watered down that it left me disappointed. The hojicha latte had much more flavor, and I definitely preferred it over the matcha. For now, I'll stick to my go-to spot, Tea Master, and keep looking for good matcha in this area. read more

Price - $$$ - I feel like I overpaid a little for my drink. I don't think it is worth the price point they are charging, especially in this area. $8-9 for a matcha latte with honey is kinda insane. I understand that they do use a pretty good quality matcha, but I don't know if I can still justify such a price point, when there are other cafes that also use the same quality but are priced lower. I looked at the pricing for the coffee and wasn't sure about it either. It feels kinda like DTLA pricing to me. Service - 3/5 - The baristas are friendly and can get pretty busy. This new spot is really close to the movie theater. I came here several times because I enjoy their iced matcha latte with oat milk. I'm pretty glad that the milk alternatives are free since I'm lactose intolerant. They have choices of oat, almond, and Macadamian milk. Dairy based Cold foam comes with some drinks and to add is $1.75 . I always get my iced matcha latte with cinnamon powder mixed inside. My girlfriend has ordered the caramel lemonade and matcha orange. She's a fan of both. My bff had ordered the Strawberry Espresso Tonic and she's a fan of that. I was surprised I liked the matcha orange since I typically like unsweetened matcha. The matcha orange is tangerine juice and matcha. I finally found my favorite local coffee shop! I recently moved to the area from west LA and struggled to find a local coffee shop that served serious coffee. Three Fields Coffee is the one! The baristas really know their stuff and they are kind, to boot. They are dog friendly, they have a beautiful japandi open space, and (most importantly), they do justice to coffee. Their menu includes espresso-based drinks, pour over, and a few non-caffeinated options, as well. My regular is a latte but the non-caf black sesame drink is fire. I added an espresso shot to put it to work. I can't comment on the food but they provide a handful of baked goods to round out your coffee experience. They also have some classic table games to play during your visit. I really enjoy this coffee shop and will be back, especially because parking is a breeze in the city parking structure around the back. read more

Came here around Saturday midafternoon and there was only a short wait. I usually get around 25-50% sweetness on my boba and their less sweet option was perfect for me. Hojicha is my favorite tea, and I think Three Fields Coffee has one of the best hojicha lattes (5/5) in the 626/OC area in my opinion. I've come here a few times now and I loved it at first. Today I went in and ordered an iced Matcha with sea salt cold foam. There was no line and it wasn't busy in there. The barista took 15 minutes to make my matcha because she kept getting distracted with something else. When I finally received my drink there was no cold foam. I was charged the cold foam, but the workers insisted it was my fault that I didn't check my order on the screen. They gave me the cold foam anyway, however it wasn't the sea salt one. The matcha was very watered down and she dumped half of the ice to put the cold foam on top. Would not come back anymore. read more
