This place is so good, it feels like exactly what I imagine when people say hole in the wall (I don't love this term or use it often, but here I mean to say it is super lowkey and casual and the food is so delicious). I've been here at least twice and last time we got the egg rolls, pea pods, salt and pepper scallops, and one of the egg foo youngs. Everything was delicious - egg rolls sound basic but I'd read somewhere they use peanut butter and it has a different flavor and it's more subtle than it sounds but so good. I loved the salt and pepper scallops and I'm sure their other salt and pepper items. Egg foo young was good too and especially yummy as leftovers the next day. Service was nice and just what a great meal - my friend and I loved it and I'd come back when I'm in the mood for Good Chinese Food. Also affordable, which we love.

This is always always been my go to in Chinatown. Decided to go there Sunday afternoon me and two other guest were possibly spent $160 in there. Wewere treated terrible I'm not gonna knock their food. Their food is good but as far as customer service, the lady that works behind the register, this lady needs to go to school or take a class in how to treat customers and then I was offended because she told us we had to pay first before we even got our food that was kinda like an insult. I forgot my cousin asked for extra bean sprouts and water chestnuts she gave us a small bowl of them and charged us $10 for them and they were cold out of the refrigerator. I think this lady fell off the bed that day or something she just was terrible. I had to get Up ask for sweet-and-sour sauce, hot mustard. I had to get up out my seat also and ask for more napkins a terrible experience there.

Chinatown staple only worth (IMHO) stopping in if you're in the area for a late night cheap eats. Nice customer service. Unfortunately eggrolls were frozen and the veg ones hardly had any veggies. Crab Rangoons had pink filling, did not like. Chicken Fried rice was good. (No pic)

When I was sent here for orange chicken, I was surprised at the flavor. I was not expecting to taste orange! The sauce was perfect. The chicken was fresh, not over battered and not over seasoned! The next time I order any breaded chicken I would ask for any sauce on the side. I love the crunchy texture and if I could get crunch out of every bite, I would be a happy eater! The steamed rice was very fluffy. The egg rolls had large chunks of pork and nice blend of veggies. The crab Rangoon also had a large amount of crab blended with the cheese which also had a great flavor. This was my first time here and when I'm back in Chicago, I will bring friends and family!

    Heads up!

The food was decent but experience was ruined by the owner (assume) sitting at the next table clipping his nails. Disgusting

They were full immediately after opening at 11:30am on a Sunday so expect a wait if you're not right on time or early. Their skin is thinner than I usually see, so their filling doesn't have to be super packed to even out the dough ratio. The chili oil and soup are 100% on point. Overate and overstuffed myself. Be prepared to wait a little bit for a table, or share a big one with another party at peak times. Prices are reasonable and portions are pretty generous. ===== Kind of lost count of how many times I've been. Love getting the dim sum and noodle dishes here. Some favorites: beef cheong fun with egg, siu mai, Singapore noodle, xo rice noodle rolls, spare ribs, pork and century egg congee. All the food has been very solid. Inside is always bustling and can be a bit crowded. Service is pretty friendly as far as Chinatown goes, and very efficient. There's a guy who works there who I think is the manager or something, because he puts in 200x effort and is always hustling. When he's not around it feels like something is missing. Prices are very reasonable and we like ordering a lot here so that we have tasty leftovers for later. This place has quite a few big tables and is good for large groups. My only nits are that very occasionally a dish or teacup will have a dirty spot, and that the bubble tea here is kind of meh. I don't remember exactly which one I ordered, but it was a little watery and lacking in flavor. It's also probably tough since they're boxed in by boba places now. Pro tip: When you first get your table, they'll ask you what kind of tea you want. If you ignore them or don't know how to answer, the default is green tea. Another one is to come at off-peak times. Not only will you get a table faster, but I think they tweak their portion sizes depending on how crowded it is. Definitely will be back! And I recommend you visit too
