We have invested heavily in technology since I bought the practice. We offer the highest-quality porcelain crowns milled out in ONE VISIT while you watch tv and sip a coffee. No more impressions, no temporary, no packing cord, no black metal margins, no second visit. Further, we recently added a Cat-scan machine to our digital dentistry armamentarium so that we can treatment plan and place digitally designed implants with PERFECT placement through guided surgery. This reduces the treatment from four four visits over a year, to two visits in half the time. I don't let my staff over-book my schedule. I like to have the opportunity to interact with my patients, get to know their fears and feelings about treatment and life in general. This gives me the chance to enjoy the experience and do the highest quality restorations, myself, instead of a hygienist or restorative assistant placing fillings like in some big-production offices. I chose this job (instead of becoming a medical doctor) because it gives me latitude to see other latitudes and use my gifts to make others lives better. I will the be the first to admin that I'm P.E.T.R.I.F.I.E.D of going to the Dentist. I don't go on a routine basis like I should. I hate the sound and the feel of the drill. For over 10 years now, I've ONLY gone when I've absolutely needed to. I had a horrible dentist as an adolescent, and I've avoided going ever since. Recently, I was having on going pain, and it took me everything I could to muster up making the call. FINALLY did. I have to give props to Three Rivers Dental. Dr. Roach is wonderful, understanding, and has a comforting demeanor...and he doesn't make you feel 2 ft tall because of your dental issues. I have had two (of several) appointments so far, and I walked out not feeling shamed, and anxiety/fear is becoming less. He was able to correct years of embarrassing problems so far. Thankfully, Dr. Roach & his staff took my fears very serious and are restoring my confidence, faith, and trust related to dentistry. If you are in the same boat of fear and avoidance, or are trying to find a great dentist that genuinely cares, this is the place! They are about QUALITY, not quantity. Where to start... I first met Dr. Roach when I took my three teenage children in to see the dentist at Three Rivers Dental. We have always been pleased with the service and care through Dr. King, so seeing a partner of his was an easy transition. My kids were all comfortable and pleased to make the switch from Dr. King to Dr. Roach. Dr. Roach is a breath of fresh air, a doctor that keeps it real. There is no pretense or pretentiousness in his demeanor. The first day I met Dr. Roach he was wearing Vans and since he was seeing my teenage daughter at the time, she appreciated his casual attire. Over the past couple of years, I have continued to get to know Dr. Roach and without hesitation have referred friends and family to see him as well. Dr. Roach genuinely cares about his patients and the people in his life. At one point, he knew my daughter was struggling and he reached out to encourage her during this time. This was invaluable to me, and he has forever endeared himself to both her and I for taking his personal time to extend warmth and support. Dr. Bart is amazing. Recently, he did a bottom row furthest back crown with same day service for me. That means, his practice creates its own crown using state-of-the-art technology and equipment. Without this ability, I would have had to make two trips: one for measurements to request a crown from a third party; and then come back to have Dr. Bart install it. That is really cool technology that saves me time and stress! He treats you like more of a new friend than a patient. He takes his time explaining what he is doing. When he does dental work on you he is fast and gentle as he can be at the same time. You can even joke around with him and his excellent staff. The music is soothing as well as you are sitting in the chair. Finally, I have a lot of respect for him and some of his staff donating their valuable time to do dental work down south of the border for children who otherwise would grow up with bad teeth. I have had three dentists work on the same tooth over the last 22 years. My twisted roots always result in the needle making them sore for days. My large filling cracked last week and I needed a crown. I was referred to Dr. Roach and a consultation confirmed he was the doctor for me. His practice and equipment are second to none. Dr. Roach planned his approach, numbed me up and prepped the tooth. He used his 3D scanner to make an oral blueprint of my bite. Then, in less than 15 minutes his 3D printer milled my crown on the spot. In less than two hours I had a custom milled crown ionically fused to my troubled tooth. Amazing! It is now the morning after and my jaw is not sore, the spacing/height between teeth is perfect and I don't have sensitivity to hot coffee or ice water. I was going to another chain Dentist, and after a bad experience started driving to Vancouver to get the rest of the work done. Tamara worked the other Dentist, and I genuinely liked her and her thorough cleanings, so I agreed to just do those. She often spoke about Dr. Roach and what a great Dentist he is. Finally he had an opportunity for her to come back and because I trusted her I booked an appointment. I met Dr. Roach on that initial visit and he discussed with me the last tooth I had with old mercury filling. I decided to let him do the work. Great service, friendly and professional staff made me feel like I was at home. The first time I had a cleaning and couple of fillings done. Easy appointment, everything completed in no time with no stress - I actually enjoyed going to the dentist for the first time ever. I have just been back to have the Kor teeth whitening treatment done and I'm already amazed at the number of people who have since mentioned my beautiful teeth and I thought I would write this review. My experience at Three Rivers was exceptional! From being greeted when I walked in to each employee I encountered, I was made to feel comfortable and well informed about procedures. It was the best cleaning I have had! For sure! Dr. Roach visited with me about the care provided and informed me why his staff approached patient care the way they do. it was very educational. The office vibe is very peaceful and interesting. I loved all the beautiful pictures of his patients in various parts of the world. They even have a sweet little cubby room for kids to play in while they wait! This was my first visit as a patient and it was great! Lauren was my hygienist and she was terrific! Dr. Roach and his staff have been taking care of us for several years now. His approach is pragmatic and he never suggests procedures you may not need. Sometimes "watching" potential trouble areas is better than drilling at first sight. The staff is always polite and happy and they keep up with cutting edge dental technology and provide options for the best long term health of your mouth. I kept breaking crowns and Dr. Roach suggested I try gold crowns which sounded expensive but he was able to minimize the cost to me and I haven't broken one since. I highly recommend! read more

My family and I have recently switched over to Dr. Roach from our dentist we've been with for over 10 years. We couldn't be more pleased and happy. The staff are inviting and friendly. Dr. Roach is amazing with my children and make them feel comfortable and at ease. They each told me that they are happy we switched over and that they really like him, which is what you would want to hear from your kids. I am very apprehensive about going to seen the dentist, but at Three Rivers Dental all my anxiety left when I was greeted by the outstanding office staff, from the receptionist down to the dental hygienist. Dr. Roach and his staff couldn't have made a root canal (that I was very nervous to have) any better than it was. The procedure was very smooth and I felt virtually no pain. Eric was especially great at explaining everything they were doing and ensuring my comfort during the whole procedure. I missed her name but the person who did the numbing is fantastic at her job, I barely felt the shots! I would highly recommend Dr. Roach and his team to anyone but especially someone who maybe has some fears/anxiety in regards to dental work. read more

Dr. Bart Roach is a very competent and compassionate Dentist. I have had a fear of going to the Dentist for most of my life and he has helped me overcome that fear through having positive and pain free dental work. Have you ever wanted to go back to the dentist??? Honestly... This is the most amazing dental office on earth! The staff is friendly, and you walk out feeling like you are part of the family! I really like the staff here and the dog lounging around ;) what a sweetheart! I was super scared to go to the dentist, knowing I had a lot of issues to address, but there was no judgement or awkwardness which was greatly appreciated. I loved that they went over what my insurance covered and always asked permission before doing something instead of doing it and sticking me with a huge bill. I've been visiting this dentist office since I was 5, the atmosphere has never been anything but welcoming! Dr Roach found a problem with an old inlay that had lost its seal to my molar. Decay was beginning under the edges of the inlay. Bart took photos so I could see the problem he was seeing. Yesterday he took out the failed inlay and put in a temporary while a new inlay is made. Got to see more photos of my molar. Glad he found the problem early. I admire the skills of Bart and his assistants. They help me take good care of my teeth. read more

I am extremely skiddish of dentists due to having my front upper teeth knocked out in my teens.
