Cashew stir fry with beef
Carrie R.

I want to give them props for being a Thai restaurant in Ephrata which is a little more off the beaten path. But the food was not great. The main issue seemed to be that they had a pre-prepared vegetable mix that they used with various dishes. It just wasn't flavorful or fresh-seeming....almost like it was all steamed up ahead and bland. It also had a lot of cabbage in it that felt like almost regular old green cabbage rather than what you'd find in Asian dishes. The cashew beef was particularly gross and flavorless. The peanut dipping sauce with the summer rolls was tasty. The rolls themselves were huge but they had way too much lettuce-- including lots of red cabbage. It just made them less enjoyable, despite seeming to be pretty fresh. The green curry just looked gross-- the sauce was tasty but again, that vegetable mix was not doing them any favors-- way too much cabbage. Service was good. Food came reasonably quickly. Tea was just regular old tea bags and a mug, but that's fine. So while I want to give them credit and some slack-- they are just 10 miles from Lancaster-- those vegetables could EASILY be better prepared and bok choy is readily accessible.

Server was hospitable, good at checking in with our table. Clean cute atmosphere and my panang curry was spot on!!!

Solid meals EVERY time at 3 Sisters in Ephrata. I ordered 4 meals for pickup and my order was ready at the exact time I asked. I have never had a bad meal here!

My husband and I stopped in to eat on a whim one day, and have since ordered take-out multiple times. The portions are huge, and the prices are fair. The restaurant itself is simple, but clean. The staff is very friendly. They seem to hold onto staff for long periods of time, which says a lot about the owners. My two favorite things in the menu are the Pad Khmer, and the sticky rice (especially mango sticky rice when it's in season!)

Nice clean place with attentive helpful staff. Note they allow sit in 30 mins before closing time. They stop serving 15 minutes before closing time. With thus said I ahd to take my food to go as I came in at 8.15pm they close 8.30 that day. My red curry could use a bit more flavor, it wasn't as tasty as I personally like them. My Tom yum soup was good. I expected it with more coconut milk, but again that is my personal preference. I need to come in a taste other dishes and experience dining in. Easy street parking walking a few steps to restaurant. Nice location in Ephrata.

Hands down the best Thai place in the area. Favorite dishes are the fried rice and pad Thai!

I haven't had Three Sisters in a little bit since Covid hit and I decided to try the Pad Thai. I have to say that I felt the Pad Thai was a little on the bland side, but the noodles and vegetables were cooked well. I also ordered the Red Curry and that was actually pretty good (and spicy for being medium)

Great panang curry and spring rolls. Always check the board behind the counter for the daily specials not on the menu.

Not the bed Thai food I've had... but decent. Would I try again? Probably some day, but for a bit.

After seeing Hills to Sea recommended repeatedly in local Facebook groups, we finally decided to…read moregive it a try and now we're wondering why we waited so long. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. We started with the crab rangoons and then ordered five sushi rolls: the Creamy & Crispy Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll, Black Dragon Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna. Every single roll was fantastic. Not "some were better than others" fantastic. Not "we found a favorite and tolerated the rest" fantastic. We genuinely loved every roll that came to the table. The Volcano Roll with spicy tuna was my personal favorite and an easy 10/10, but honestly there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. The presentation deserves its own mention. The rolls were beautifully plated, complete with gorgeous edible flowers and thoughtful garnishes that made everything look almost too pretty to eat. Service was excellent. The food came out surprisingly quickly, but not all at once. Instead, the rolls arrived in small groups, which actually made the experience even better because we could enjoy each one before the next arrived. For two people, five specialty rolls and crab rangoons came to about $80, which is completely reasonable and honestly pretty standard for quality sushi. We will absolutely be back, and we've already started recommending Hills to Sea to friends and family. If you're a sushi lover in Lancaster County, put this place on your list immediately.

The crab rangoons are my favorite - delicious crab filling and excellent outside crunch. The vegetable stir fry - add chicken and make it SPICY! The best - of course with a side of white rice. Go to sushi roll - ocean angel roll - spicy crab, cucumbers, avocado, topped with shrimp and avocado and yummy sauces!

All the dishes had enough to take home for a second meal. It is all made from scratch and to your desired temperature, regarding spice. The actual restaurant is...quaint. it's small and clean. I don't think it would hold more than 30 ppl. The bathroom is a single and the door didn't lock for me. I just peed and prayed. Lol. Service was OK. Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant, the server seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. Food came out quickly tho. The lemon marscapone cake looked delicious, so I got one to go. Since then, I've been too many times. Food is consistently fresh, quick and delicious! Service is always mid. Try the Thai tea and mango rice... oh and the basil rice. Listen, I could go on, everything is good.

It was very flavorful and came out nice and hot so good that I didn't feel the need to add anything extra to it. For my main dish, I ordered my go-to Thai meal: chicken and basil. It was super delicious. The chicken was well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and the dish came out hot and fresh just like the soup. Parking was easy since they have their own dedicated parking lot. It's not huge, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The restaurant itself is family-friendly, and they had music playing in the background that added to the atmosphere without being too loud or distracting. Service was a little slower than usual today it took about 15 minutes for someone to come over and take my food and drink order, but once the order was placed, the food came out quickly. The staff was still very kind and welcoming, and things happen sometimes, so it wasn't enough for me to take away from the overall experience. They also have bathrooms available, which is always helpful for families stopping in. Seating options are tables, booths, and table and booth combination, If you enjoy Thai cuisine, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!
