Inside - ordering counter

Very cute bakery! They have some nice patio seating as well as indoor tables, but wow was it busy - you know it's good if it's that popular. The one thing I didn't really like was the set-up - having never been there before, I was asked to order before I could see even half of the display case options because of the line. They seemed to be out of a lot of baked goods since it was afternoon, so get there early if you have your heart set on something! I ended up going with a chai latte, which was very good, and tried a few of their cookies. The pistachio rugelach and apricot bar were particularly delicious. Unfortunately I was waiting around for the latte and it turns out they forgot the order but couldn't have been nicer about it. Overall, worth a stop if you're in the area!

Three Tarts Bakery makes every occasion sweeter with their speciality cakes! Their cakes are always beautifully decorated, moist, and delectable. I also love that they partner with local businesses for their produce! I have yet to try their cafe foods but looking forward to it on my next trip to Northfield. Thank you Three Tarts Bakery for your exceptional service and cakes!

Breakfast sandwich, but where is the cheese?

I went here on a whim after a dentist appointment because it was close by. It was a cute bakery in the middle of a small shopping mall. The people at the counter were super friendly. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a cappuccino, and a piece of cake, which totaled $25. The breakfast sandwich was not overall good; however, the bread was. I can't say that the chocolate cake was impressive either. It was fine, as was the cappuccino. For the price point, I'd want to be impressed, but I was not. I would give the place another chance if I were in the area in the future.

I hadn't heard of this place but was nearby and stopped in to get a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was ok. But luckily I didn't realize that you pick up online orders on the shelf in the hallway because I wouldn't have stopped inside the shop. Their gingerbread cookies are sooooo good! That was a nice little treat. Their ginger chocolate chip muffin was something I haven't really seen before and that was pretty good too. I would happily stop in again if I was nearby.

Even cuter a shop in person than online! Initially, I found this delightful bakery online when seeking special desserts for my cousins 98th birthday. Today is her 101st birthday, so I worked with three tarts bakery to coordinate a couple trays of delicious pastries. The staff was very friendly! They organized and coordinated, beautiful platters, even tying them with a beautiful red ribbon. The shop is adorable! It is small and located within the shops at Northfield Village Square with plenty of parking. The café has indoor seating aside from pastries and coffee, this café has a nice menu. Highly recommend.

A lemon raspberry muffin and a blueberry muffin.

Small little cafe, delicious but a bit expensive. It was frustrating that prices were not marked clearly for new customers. I ended up going to the register blind. The lemon raspberry muffin was ok, mostly raspberry flavor, very little lemon. But the blueberry muffin was fantastic. I'd be curious to try more of their items (especially the cookies!) but it's definitely going to be a rare treat at over $5 per muffin.

Buttermilk shortcake

Came in early right when it opened and grabbed a Buttermilk shortcake, like a muffin to go. It was flavorful and dense and moist. At $3.25 not overly priced too compared to some other places. The staff was friendly and very willing to help. Will have to try some other bakery items here someday. The shortbread cookies are quite good here too.

I love myself a good cookie cake...and my newly turned 8 year old takes after me. She asked for a…read moreLOL Surprise Doll (her current obsession) cookie cake for the day of her actual bday. I reached out to a few local bakeries and each claimed that would be difficult. And then I reached out to Wendy from Peacelovecookies based on the recommendation of a friend. I'm not sure how it took me so long to find Wendy and her delicious cookies (especially since we have kids in the same grade at the same school), but I'm probably going to be her best customer going forward. Wendy responded right away to my LOL Surprise Doll cookie cake request. She said a LOL Doll out of buttercream would be difficult, but would be happy to use cake toppers. I've included a pic of the finished product and my daughter and friends literally gasped when they saw it. Wendy made the dreams come true of these LOL Surprise Doll obsessed girls. She also made me take a few extra trips to the gym this week because the cookie cake was sooo good. I thought I loved cookie cakes, but all the others I've enjoyed paled in comparison to Wendys cookie cake. We had lots of leftovers and I couldn't stop eating it for days...and it seemed to taste better each day. i've already ordered custom lego cookies and rice krispie treats for my son's upcoming lego themed birthday bash. I find her pricing to be reasonable in comparison to the rest of the cookie world. For example the amazing 12 inch cookie cake was $35 to feed about 16-20 people (9 inch is $25). Can't wait for more cookies...and (i guess) trips to the gym.

Highly recommend for custom cookies! Had a last minute request for my daughter's birthday party and…read moreshe nailed it! Not only was the design perfect but everyone raved about how tasty they were!

I had a Caesar salad, my wife has the French onion soup and a grilled cheese and all items were solid. Also had the Chocolate chip cookies which were awesome. I ordered the croque madame with the fried egg on top, and it was delicious. You can absolutely tell they use real butter--the true French way! My waistline might not thank them, but my tastebuds certainly did. I even brought home an almond croissant for the Hubby and snacked on a cheese and chive scone the next day, and everything was just fantastic. The only little hiccup is that the service can get a bit hectic. The staff seemed a little confused trying to match up the order numbers to the tables, and we almost got run over on our way out by a waiter sprinting to the patio! But even with the fast-paced environment, the food is wonderful whether you eat in or grab takeout. Definitely worth a visit! A much better experience here than MY 1st time. I think it's because they enlarged the dining area with more table space. It's still hard to have a conversation due to the high ceilings which echo the sound.
