I wish I could give this experience more than 5 stars. This was my husband's and my first time ever in Hawaii. This was our favorite excursion. At first, I was VERY nervous. From putting on the snorkel gear to actually jumping into the open ocean. Our Captain Mark was the reason I'm here to leave this review. He made our experience unforgettable. He was very hospitable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. He explained every step of our excursion with detail and light hearted jokes. The whole group was having a blast. When we got to our destination in the beautiful blue ocean, Captain Mark and his deck hands, Jack and Mikey made sure we were having fun, felt comfortable, and (most importantly) safe. They had fun music playing while we snorkeled. I saw huge turtles and so many beautiful colored fish. I felt like I was in a movie. On our way back to shore, we encountered a pod of dolphins. No joke, there were over 50 of them swimming along us. It literally brought me tears of joy. I was sitting on the net part on the back of the boat and got to be within 3 feet of the dolphins. I highly recommend booking Three Tiki for your snorkeling tour. Where you check in at is pretty simple and easy- dish have plenty of signs so you can't get lost. There two food trucks/trailers that you can get a quick snack before you leave. So I highly recommend getting there 30 mins prior to your departure time to check in. The captain put us in right on the beautiful sea turtle and fish. The catamaran is well taken care of and safe. Our group had approximately 25 other passengers on the tour and it didn't feel crowded at all. The captains and first mate were amazing full of knowledge, boat safety and made you feel welcomed. I'll definitely book with them for future boating excursions. Bring your own towel! There were several people who didn't bring them and it was a bit "cold" for Hawaiian standards lol. This was hands down the best experience I've had on a catamaran! I've been on many before and none have had the amount of attentiveness, and kindness as this company. Jack, "clams" is a great snorkel guide pointing out all the sea animals and cool things to show us. I felt very comfortable and safe in the water knowing our guides were experienced. The other jack was amazing too, he was very knowledgeable and made sure all of us felt included. Safety is their number one concern and is a priority on the boat. Captin Mark was great as well, very knowledgeable and experienced on the water, pointing out sea life and available to talk about any questions you have! Excellent crew and all-around experience! We chartered a boat to scatter my mom's ashes, and Captain Drew contacted me ahead of time to reschedule because of impending weather. I was so grateful for this because we were only visiting HI for a short time and specifically to do this. There is free parking on site. Captain Drew and his wonderful crew- Jack and Lexie- are so skilled and knowledgeable, reviewing boat and water safety precautions and providing fins and snorkel gear for swimming afterwards. I took our family of 4 (2 kids under 11) out and LOVED it!! Great people the best boat! I loved the open air ride. Our kids hung out on the nets there and back and had the time of their life! Saw a half dozen sea turtles and the team was great with my kids! If there is a better boat for sail & surf at Waikīkī I would be admonished 5 stars all the way!! We might do it again before headed back to Kansas! Oh Last thing this boat is STABLE if you're sea sickness prone this 3 hull ship is as steady as they come! We had such an amazing time on the Sail & Snorkel tour to Turtle Canyon with Three Tiki Sailing! From start to finish, the crew made us feel safe and well taken care of. They provided all the necessary gear, plenty of water, and even had a guide in the water with us the entire time to assist and make sure everyone felt comfortable. On our way out, we were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swimming right alongside the boat--such a magical moment! I recently was onboard the Hokulani, the vessel was amazing, very spacious with a lot of comfortable seating and shade if you wanted it. The crew made me feel safe and from the moment we left the harbor I knew it was going to be a wonderful sail. Jack was one of the crew members helping us while we were out there. He began the sail by offering everyone water which was very nice of him. He also told us about the boat and answered all of our questions willing. I was also able to bring an ice chest with my own drinks aboard which made the sail even better!! We loved the cruise. Great views and a spacious vessel allowed our kids great fun sitting forward while the less sea-loving parents sat towards the back. The crew was great, explained things well and worked hard. The only negative comment I have is not finding the check-in easily. The booking company instructed us to look for a "Three Tiki Sailing" sandwich board, but it was not conspicuous from the street, being well inside the dining area check-in was occurring. First time booking a snorkeling trip for the family. We booked it same day, and everything went as according to planned. We walked there from our Hale Koa Hotel (20 mins walk). Arrived at 1030am to depart at 1100. We had the best seat on the boat, in the middle of the boat. They provided all the equipment for the kids and adults. We saw three sea turtles and a ton of fish. The crew were very friendly and accommodating: provided cold water, guided the tour where the turtles were, and took our photos. The sailing was a bonus for us. Total trip time was 2.5 hours. The captain was great! Funny and made us feel right at home on the boat. The crew was wonderful. Very informative and showed us some really cool sea life including a sea turtle and the cutest octopus! We were able to bring whatever we wanted on the boat to make our time comfortable including food and drinks. Our 13 month old was with us and there was plenty of shade and seating to keep him out of the sun. They even had a life jacket in his size. All around the experience was fantastic! We had a fabulous time on our whale watching trip. The boat was comfortable, we felt safe and all the little ones had lifejackets on. The waves were great fun and the view of Diamondhead from the water was absolutely beautiful. The staff, Andy, Mitchell, and Jack, were so personable. They answered tons of questions and took pictures for us. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales; I guess they were didn't get the memo. We had an amazing experience! The skilled crew kept everyone safe by carefully assessing each person's needs. Some snorkelers chose to stop early, so crew members escorted them back to the boat while the rest of our group continued snorkeling under the watchful eyes of the team.
