This hidden gem was found on a random trip home from Boston. It is said to have have a "speakeasy feel but I don't know what that's supposed to look like. The bottom line is that it was fantastic! The massive square bar was the centerpiece of the room and since there was an hour wait(Saturday at 7pm), we ate at the bar. Hubby got single serve brickoven pizza(sausage/ pepper) for $14, I got a Mediterranean salad for 14. The app was a plentiful plate of tempura veggies that were more tender than ever, and tempura as light as can be. The drinks were strong, the workers were all super friendly all the bar tenders all said hello and asked to help us. The vibe was very lively and we can't wait to go back for their flight nights and Sunday brunch. Oh I almost forgot the restaurant is hidden inside an almost vacant rope factory. Went their for dinner and drinks with one of my good friends based off the reviews here and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! We got the Mac and cheese shareable and margherita pizza and both were delicious. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. They had a band that Friday night and it was loud but not to loud where we couldn't hear each other talk. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the food they have to offer. read more

Modern interior, copper bar, high ceiling of an old mill. Cold and not so inviting. The TV's mounted at the perfect angle for neck cramps. The bar staff really weren't engaging. Stopped in to watch Patriot game with my son. Plenty of room at bar, on a Patriots game day should have been the clue..Ordered wings and a prosciutto pizza, bourbon on the rocks, son stuck with water. The honey garlic wings were less than thrilling, not enough to share. Thin sugary sauce with less than garlic, no kick. Prosciutto pizza cooked in a brick oven browned, not crisped, arrived looked pretty good, small, with maybe arugula drizzled with a dark sauce that had no ascertainable flavor. End of first quarter, ordered a round of hot wings. Small portion with white celery type pieces on edge of plate, had to ask for blue cheese. Apparently blue cheese dressing is on embargo as the thimble they produced, was presented like caviar. Well cooked but no flavor.... So middle of second quarter, 2 orders of wings down and one pizza history... Still hungry.. leaving before halftime...got tab $49.00 plus tip. $10.00 for bourbon, no problem Knob Creek, good bourbon... $1.00 for rocks. Not so happy.. Why no pictures? I am an adult and don't take pictures of food, this is America, want picture of food go to Denny's and stare at a menu..On my way home I drove past KFC and damn near pulled in to get some wings, that's actually how hungry I was, pretty bad... If I could give this restaurant a zero I would. We went out on my birthday with my 16 month old granddaughter and were treated so rudely by the manager that we eventually left before we ordered. There is no children's menu although they do have high chairs. That was fine but when we asked for a small portion of something on the menu for the baby we were told that they would charge the full amount because "this", referring to children, was not the "image" that the restaurant had in mind when they opened. The manager, Vinnie, said that to us repeatedly until we finally said that we got the message-children are not welcome in his restaurant-but after waiting 35 minutes to be seated we were all hungry, especially the baby. After going back and forth with Vinnie for over 5 minutes we decided to leave. WE WILL NEVER RETURN! PARENTS BE WARNED-YOUR CHILDREN ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. read more

My husband and I absolutely loved the look and feel this new restaurant! They put in a HUGE bar - very smart. We went on a Friday night so the wait was an hour and 15 min, but we didn't mind hanging out at bar with some friends for a bit. Their cocktail list was creative and I very much enjoyed the Winters Kiss which was very tart and refreshing! We decided to order some "Sharables" and started with the Three V's Signature Mac, which was everything a mac & cheese should be - rich, smooth and creamy...and I loved the use of fusilli, so fun! Next, we had the Oysters Rockefeller - creamy and so tasty, always one of our favorites to try wherever we go! However, I would recommend they improve the presentation with some kale leaves or something...they looked a little odd on the plate. Lastly, we had the Tempura Veggies. This was the only item that fell flat...we didn't get any brussel sprouts in it, which are our favorite, and the green beans were a bit limp/oily. It happens, especially at a new place where they may be still working out the kinks, so no biggie. Went for lunch...we shared a sausage pizza and beet salad. All I can say is bland bland bland food. I asked for more salad dressing hoping that would kick up the flavor. It did not. I just happened to find this restaurant because it popped up on Facebook. We looked at the menu online and decided to give it a go. We were SHOCKED when the bartender told us that they had been open for 3 weeks. Our meal and service were excellent. The bar is so cool and felt like some prohibition bars we visited in Savannah, GA. We ordered the hot honey wings to start. They were crispy, sweet and had a little kick. I just wish we had more honey to dip with and wet naps for when we were done. They were so delicious. I ordered the Pork Belly Mac for my meal which was more than enough food and even took home leftovers. The pesto crostini's were delicious, the Mac was cheesey, the pork belly was crispy and flavorful. It was the best Mac I've ever had. My husband ordered the burger with Curley fries and they both were outstanding. The brand on the bun was a unique touch, the burger was thick and juicy! The Curley fries were delicious because I like every fry to be crispy and they were all crunchy and satisfying. The presentation of each plate was beautiful. I thought the dinnerware and glassware gave the mean a posh touch. The decor inside was cozy. We couldn't believe how busy it was for a new restaurant, on a Monday night, in FEBRUARY! The service was excellent and the staff seemed experienced. We enjoyed watching the pizza man and ordered a pizza to go for the next day and it was so delicious even though we ate it a day later cold. We cannot wait to go back! Great job, Three V! I have visited Three V three times in the past week. So my review has basis in a lot of data. First time was lunch, second for drinks and apps at the bar and thirds started at the bar and then a table for dinner. Each time had pros and cons. On the overall the place looks great. Kind of a super large bar surrounded by tables. It is loud and they could put in some noise baffling waves in the ceiling. Very excited to see this spot come back to life by a well qualified restaurant family. Ironically, the best service was lunch by an admitted green server. We were her 2nd table. Dinner on the third visit had disinterested server. The restaurant runs smoothly. The food is hit or miss. Some things great, some need work. Green bean fries, fish sandwich, soba noodles (should give protein toppings as an option) are great. Soba noodles don't have anywhere as much advertised veggies on them you see on the online menu. Crab cakes ok. Need more moisture. Tempura veggies are awesome but the portion is small. French dip had one tiny piece of meat and the dipping sauce was an after thought. "Beet salad" had almost no beets...mainly arugula. But salmon add on was huge. Prosciutto flatbread was well cooked and presented but lacked much flavor or salt. Went to dinner here tonight. Food was really good. We had seafood spinach dip, fantastic. Only recommendation would be to replace deep fried pitas with crostini, pitas were cold and very greasy. Dip was fabulous. We had chill salad which was sooooo good. Our bartender Katie was so professional and efficient even though very busy. Will return. New place that needs to work out some kinks. Has good potential. But mainly staff problems. Hostesses seemed bit confused and not very welcoming. My fiancé and I got a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. Bartender was curt. My martini came out wrong. I saw another another reviewer said the same thing. To her credit she fixed it immediately but bartenders maybe need some training. For dinner ordered the seafood paella special. Usually a special should be best foot forward. This really wasn't good. A small bed of rice hiding under a bowl full of fairly bland sauce. It was a soup, not a paella. Most of the seafood was good, although the scallops were a little undercooked, did not eat those. My fiancé said her margherita pizza was okay. The space is beautiful, they've done a nice job with the remodel. Industrial antique feel of the old cordage factory with a big modern bar. I want to love Three V but even with the new summer dinner menu I feel like it's hard time picking out a meal when I don't want a pizza. The pizza is great, great Tuesday night special BOGO. Okay food. Not able to make reservations and feels odd to be waiting 45 minutes to 2 hours for a burger and mac and cheese, but maybe that is just me. They also do not have enough seating. While the bar is cool, the seating they have by the upcoming market is limited, and the seats by the bar are so overly crowded drunk people are running into the backs of your seats. The food was definitely good, yet there is just no reason to return when there are poor seating options, a standard menu, and a long long long wait. I could eat similar food elsewhere. Had dinner here last night, food was good but service was terrible. Sat at the bar, manager ended up taking our orders for drinks and food. No one asked us how our food was, if we needed another drink etc. Bartender was inattentive and barely spoke to us, he was "training" another bartender who looked like she wasn't getting much training. It seemed like manager was hustling to keep things on track but the couple next to us almost left because their food order was never put in. I went there this weekend and was not impressed. The food was okay, but there was not a great entree selection. The margherita pizza was not prepared in the traditional way which was disappointing. The waitress was very pleasant, but every time we asked for something she had to check to see if we could have it (butter for mashed potatoes, salt and pepper and more bread). There was an up charge for the bread, which was fine, however butter, salt and pepper are basic staples for dinner. She brought the items, but we were confused as to why she had to get permission for them. We also felt very rushed, not by the waitress, but by other members of the staff. There were three of us still eating and we were approached several times asking if they could take our plates. At the end of the meal I had salad and a wing on a small plate, I turned my head and when I turned back it was gone. We should have been asked if we were all done, or if we wanted a small container to take it home. Again, just felt we were being rushed. read more

I have been to Three V multiple times and I can honestly say my experience every time has been trash. I went to brunch buffet one time and when we went up to get food, there was nothing left. And I am not exaggerating when I say NOTHING. There was may 3 leafs of lettuce in the salad bowl, there was mere scraps of bacon and honestly it wasn't really breakfast food at all. For $25 a person it was NOT worth it. The server said they were bringing out more food. Let me tell you, no more food came out. Don't serve brunch if you have no food to serve!!!! The other horrible experience I had was for dinner. Our waitress was not attentive. We waited for 20 minutes to get a glass of water. I don't think we saw our waitress more than 3 times throughout the night. Once we ordered our food, we tried ordering a side, only to find out they no longer offer that side. Here's an idea, don't put it on the menu if you don't offer it!!! Overall HORRIBLE experiences. read more
