We bought a new refrigerator a few months back. When it was delivered, the delivery person was in a hurry and when he brought the fridge into the house, instead of using the dolly the proper way-tilting it back on its wheels-he just pushed it across our wood floor and scratched and gouged it. He realized what he had done, apologized, took photos, and told us that RC Willey would cover the expense of fixing the floor. Fast forward to today, where they have given us a settlement offer based on their insurance company's computer program telling them how much it should cost to fix it. In the meantime, we got a bid from a real-live reputable floor installer and it is almost twice as much as what they are offering. (Side-note: RC Willey originally asked a general contractor they work with to send someone to give them a bid to fix our floor. He sent a subcontractor to look at the job and that is who we called for the bid, since he was already asked to bid the job.) So now, due to their delivery person's negligence, we are stuck with damaged floors and a settlement offer that, as far as what we can see, isn't going to cover the cost of replacing our floor. RC Willey is great at taking your money and claiming they care about their customers, but when it comes down to it, they only care about their money and not about fixing their mistakes. We will never shop at RC Willey again, but I'm sure they don't really care if we do.

I like the touch of sending me a picture of the tech so I know who to expect. Gave a time frame that he would be here. Got worried when I got a call that he may be late since he is running behind on his present job. I admit I got worried about the tech canceling on me and having to reschedule. Surprise! Half an hour later he was here. It went quick. He diagnosed the problem, even had a spare part. Fixed it in no time. He spent more time vacuuming out the inner workings of the dryer than actually fixing it. All together it was well worth the call to these guys. The repair itself was much cheaper than I expected it to be. I was worried the quote would have been high enough that it would be cheaper to buy a new dryer. But no. Gonna bookmark these guys!

When we finally reached a manager, we were offered only ~$120 back, while being charged for multiple visits, diagnostics, and a part that did not fix the problem. At no point was it clearly explained that this would be a trial-and-error process with uncertain results. Very disappointing experience--both in terms of the repair outcome and how the situation was handled.

The problem was a broken latch which I already knew. They then quoted me an additional $262 for the repair. The price seemed high, but I wanted to get the issue resolved, so I agreed to move forward. Keep in mind the part was $18 and he was there for about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix the dishwasher, even after I was responsible for ordering the replacement part myself. When the repair still did not work, they agreed to only refund $80 of the $362, despite not resolving the issue. Instead, the only solution they offered was to install a brand-new dishwasher, which was not helpful. I am fine paying some money for their time and I was hoping for a fair solution. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the outcome and the lack of accountability when the repair was unsuccessful. I know there are more honest upfront guys out there who are not going to charge you a crazy amount when they can't fix the exact thing you paid them to do. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

They wouldn't fix it so I had a repair guy out who showed me the transmission had been flinging oil everywhere inside the unit for the whole time I owned it. Among other things being wrong. $800 repair quote on a unit I just paid $600 for. Repair guy told me I would be better off getting a new machine and that these combo units are the most unreliable he sees. The store basically slapped a band-aid on a machine with a lot of problems and sold it for an easy $600 knowing it would last just long enough to not have to replace it for me. Very disappointed.
