The food was great. I came here around 5:00pm on a week day and it was not packed at all. Drinks were very good and the bartender Maira was great!

This place is truly one of my all time favorites. I can honestly say there hasn't been a single visit where the food disappointed. The ambiance is always on point great vibe, perfect for a fun dinner or date night. This time we tried several dishes and every single one delivered. The Your Highness is an absolute must. You cannot skip it. It's that good. We also had the Mr. Rice Guy, crispy sushi rice topped with tuna and avocado, and it was delicious, perfectly textured and flavorful. The Drunken Belly remains one of my forever favorites. The flavor on those pork belly bites is just out of this world. And for the first time, we tried the Pineapple Express, and I loved the combination of sweetness with the serrano cream cheese. Such a good balance. Service could have been a little better this visit, but the food was so incredible it honestly didn't take away from the experience. Still a five star spot for me, every time.

Stopped in for a late bite after a night downtown. We noticed they were pretty busy, especially for a Wednesday so we took that as a good sign. Upon entry we were greeted by a nice gentleman and seated at one of their booths facing the bar, which we liked because we were able to see the tvs. The restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is earthy and trendy. They played great music and our server was kind and attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu selection so we ordered a variety of dishes to share. They are a little on the pricier side and in our opinion the food was just okay. The flavor of a few of the items like the wings and noodles weren't what we were expecting- not to say it was outright bad but just off. The sliders were decent, and the wontons/potstickers were pretty bland but we still ate them. Would we return? Possibly on another random night out downtown to try some of their other dishes and drinks.

We went here before going to a play at Dr. Phillips, super walkable. The restaurant is clean and has all of the vibes. Our server was prompt and food came out very quickly. The only food we got that we weren't crazy about was the pork belly. I think it could be crispier. Highly recommend everything else and loved the mocktails we ordered too.

Perfect spot right near the Dr. Phillips Center--we stopped in after a show and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the food was impeccable, and the drinks were just as good. Such a cute atmosphere, too. Definitely worth a visit!

Thrive Cocktail Lounge is a relatively new spot in downtown Orlando, and it absolutely delivers on atmosphere. The interior is visually stunning--modern, intentional, and clearly designed to feel like an experience, not just a place to grab a drink. The cocktails are where Thrive really separates itself. This is artisanal mixology done with confidence. You can tell there's real experience behind the bar--thoughtful flavor combinations, balanced pours, and drinks that feel crafted rather than rushed or trendy for the sake of it. Overall, Thrive feels like a place that knows exactly what it wants to be: stylish, polished, and elevated without feeling pretentious. If you're looking for a downtown cocktail spot that brings both aesthetics and substance, this one is worth checking out.

Took me awhile to stop by but I finally did TWICE . It's a beautiful environment, love the decor and the staff hasn't disappointed me not once. First time I went we sat in one of the back booths. The waitress was nice and helpful with figuring out what dish would work best. My friend is vegan and she was able to switch a few things out for something else. We definitely enjoyed our time there. Second time we sat at the bar. I got the same sushi but I wanted to try something else which was the chicken and waffles . I will say the chicken was a little dry and the syrup was already poured mostly on the center. So the bottom waffle was a little soggy while the top was mostly dry with a little drizzle. I would serve it with the syrup on the side to avoid that but I still enjoyed it. Both days I went was Sunday brunch so the dj did a good job, I'd definitely would return to try other items. Worth a visit.

Visited thrive for a small bite and my fiancé birthday celebration. It was pretty busy outside the restaurant, inside the restaurant was civilized lol.. Upon entrance we greeted and seated immediately. We advised our waitress Brittney of allergies, and I would like to thank Jay(chef) and Brittney(waitress) for their amazing, attentive and careful service to my fiancé and I. My fiancé is allergic to sesame seeds and they both made special accommodations for him. Jay cooked every dish separately to avoid cross contamination. He was able to get dumplings, wangz with sauce on the side (for me). Crab and cream cheese rangoonies and I got the burger sliders. The food was great, everything was fresh, tasty and on point. The music was also good 2000s music, jamming while eating good food. I will definitely visit again and ask for Brittney. 10/10

Went to Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery to celebrate my birthday with my neighbor Victoria and had an amazing brunch experience. There's no street parking, so we paid $15 for 3 hours at a lot up the street. I highly recommend making reservations, especially on weekends. We went early to beat the crowd. Our waitress Mia was great very friendly and attentive. We started with waters and a few shots, then ordered several tapas-style dishes to share: Up To Dumpling, Breakfast Bao's, Let's Have A Toast (VG), and Takes Two To Mango*. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. For dessert, we had Can't Go Wrong, which was the perfect way to end the meal. The drinks were good, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Overall, a great spot for brunch and special occasions!

So good!! Decided to stop in before going to see a show at the Dr. Phillips Center. This place is walking distance from the theatre and is absolutely beautiful. Great use of space, plants everywhere, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. I was impressed walking in at how they transformed such a small space into a symbol of their mission of natural and sustainable foods. Speaking of food, this place is a tapas restaurant. The drinks are also hand crafted with attention paid to each ingredient. The menu is extensive but worthy of the time to go over to ensure you get a good mix of Items. Oh, and the staff is incredible!! Great recommendations and energy. There were three of us and we had about an hour and a half to kill so we grabbed drinks and about 5 plates to share. The cocktails were delicious and came quickly. The food was equally delicious. The pork belly was my favorite. There is rice in the bowl, so dig deep when dishing. The wings were pretty good, but not as crispy as I'd expected for being double fried. Great flavor though. The sliders were good, but very much a standard mushroom take. Not pictured are the bap buns which come two to an order and are amazing, and the noodles which were also a delight. Overall, Thrive lives up to the hype. 9/10 would recommend and can't wait to go back!

My friend and I needed a place to grab a quick bite and some drinks out after attending a show at the Dr. Phillips theater. As we were walking downtown, we came across this location, which we hadn't been to before. I was really intrigued by the menu offering a wide range of Asian fusion tapas style plates as well as loved the drink menu and how descriptive they were and how they made their cocktails. I ordered their version of an espresso martini and my friend ordered an old-fashioned and both were extremely delicious and I would say this is one of my more favorite to espresso martinis offered in Orlando for food. We decided to share a bunch of apps. We got the fire fires, return of the king, Mr. Rice guy, and the drunken belly. I was legitimately shocked and surprised by all the food and all the delicious flavors that it offered. I truly couldn't pick one of the four dishes to like better than the rest. Everything had the right amount of spice or right amount of sweetness, and the raw fish was so fresh. This is an establishment. I'll definitely come back to especially since it's such close proximity to the theater. This will definitely be a go to for me.

Thrive was super accommodating for our party of 6. We called ahead just to see if they can squeeze us in on a saturday night- and they told us they can make it happen. We walked in and our table was ready, even though it was a full house. Servers name was Brandon?(Brendon?) and he was VERY attentive. Very knowledgeable of the menu, filled our glasses constantly & food came out timely! My husband and I ordered 4 small plates: The Sprout Chaser? SO DELICIOUS & full of flavor! 5/5 probably my favorite item I ordered! Mr. Rice Guy was the next thing that came out and I feel like the Ratio of Tuna & Rice was a bit big. I wish it was smaller bites 4/5 I ended up separating the 2 and taking separate bites. still good! Fireworks Sushi was very good, 5/5 perfect balance of flavors! And lastly the Mochi Wangz were crispy and good! 5/5. I ordered their signature Pear cocktail, and that one was suuuper good with a smoked cinnamon stick. I can drink 3 more of those! For what my friends ordered- they had the chicken and then Beef Short rib dumplings and they said the beef short rib was the best. The also got the Noodz with short rib and they said it was okay. The noodles were bland and if it wasn't for the short rib they don't think they would've enjoyed it as much. Overall my husband and I were very happy with our choices, the service and the ambiance. Loved the plants everywhere & the bathrooms were clean. Would love to come back & try their lunch menu.

Thrive was good, but something about it just doesn't want to make me return. I didn't hate it by any means, but nothing had a wow factor with flavor. Visually stunning, but empty flavors. Service was impeccable though as the waiter had lots of recommendations and was spot on with drink refills and seeing if we needed anything. The sushi offerings were probably the best things. The fish was fresh and presented nicely on ice. The Crispy Rice was just ok and the boneless wings were so chewy I had to spit them out. The sauce was good though... lol They have some interesting drink combinations too, but again, they looked amazing but fell flat. It makes me understand that Simpsons episode where Bart makes Manhattans for the Mafia Boss ("What have I done to deserve this flat, flavorless Manhattan?). They have something going for them as it was crowded and trendy, but I go for great food and drinks over atmosphere and service, and Thrive just didn't hit the mark on the first 2. They nailed the last 2 though.

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. When I first arrived right at 4pm, I thought maybe it was closed as only my car was in the parking lot. I went in the side door which apparently is not the main entrance, but there were a few people inside. My bartender Emily was awesome and super friendly. There are TV's on both sides of the bar and at the entrance of the restaurant. I was able to indulge in World Cup soccer. Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm Monday - Friday. Quite a few items are marked down to $10 as are some of the cocktails. I started with a $10 Lamp Martini (Dirty Gin Martini). I liked it although, it was super mini. I can see why it was "only" $10. I'd prefer a regular sized glass. I can't believe they charge $1 for blue cheese olives. The bartender recommended the Caesar Salad and told me it was one of the best items on the menu. Super duper different. I've never had a Caesar salad like this one. It's like little sandwich bites of salad. I really liked it. These things lived up to the bartender hype. Then, I tried the $10 Deviled Eggs. They were pretty standard. Then, I had the $10 Chili Bomb Hummus. I love a really good hummus and this one was that. Up next, "The Best Espresso Martini in Orlando," Whoops, actually it wasn't this time the bartender lied to me. Wine Bar George still holds that title. I wish the espresso was brewed at the bar, but she told me it was from some place down the street. Lastly, I had the $14 Charred Cauliflower. I liked this thing too. I wish they made a spicy version. A huge space inside. A cool entrance to the bathrooms. Quite a few TV's to watch sports. A bit off the beaten path. A solid bar to have some drinks, watch sports, and get some bites.

They weren't bad, but they lacked any creativity or presentation to justify the price. We sat at the bar, and I have to say the service was good.
