Some places don't just sell parts -- they take care of people. Bouquet Auto Parts is one of those…read morerare places. I've stopped in plenty of times expecting to grab a part and leave, and instead found someone willing to step outside, grab a tool, and help solve the problem on the spot. That kind of service is almost unheard of anymore. What really mattered was today. My daughter is getting ready to head off to college, and her car started making an unsettling noise in the front end. Rather than panicking or going straight to a dealership, we came here first. They took the time to look it over, explained what was going on, and confirmed it wasn't anything serious. That visit alone likely saved us hundreds of dollars -- and a lot of unnecessary stress. This business has been part of the Santa Clarita community for decades, and it shows in how they treat customers. If you value honesty, experience, and people who genuinely want to help, start here before anywhere else. Santa Clarita is better because places like this still exist.

The battery itself has no identifying information and the salesman said it had a 5 year warranty, but he didn't supply any proof of that. And on the sales receipt it say's it is only good for 1 year. He also was charged for recycling the old battery. Everything about this purchase is sus, you ought to be taken to small claims court for fraud. By the way, the salesman's name is Matt.

I'm in town to help my Mom for a few days, and the brightly lit amber warning light (shaped like a wrench) popped up. Time for an oil change. It's glowing bright and beating with a pulse, burning a hole in my brain. It was a very busy day and I wasn't able to get to PACC until about 20 minutes before they were closing. I had called much earlier in the day after being referred by a friend, and the guy at the counter remembered. He was so apologetic but explained they still had vehicles being worked on and it was almost closing time... but told me that he knew I was in a pinch to get my oil change done and said that Oilstop with whom they shared a parking lot would be fine just to get my oil changed. That was pure gold, because who wants to hand their vehicle to just anyone randomly? He alleviated any concerns I had and I was able to check this task off of my list. PACC, your integrity today impressed me. Although I didn't get to have my oil changed with you today, I will definitely return with any future automotive service needs!

I've spent thousands of dollars at German High-Tech Mechanic Shop over the years on multiple…read morerepairs, so I'm not a first-time customer leaving a snap judgment review. Unfortunately, my recent experience really changed my perspective. Today I called because my brake light came on and I needed a quote for brake work. I was told it would cost $40 just to give me a quote. After the amount of money I've already spent there, that felt unreasonable and disappointing. In the past, I've also experienced small pricing inconsistencies -- being quoted one price, then when someone else picked up my car, the total was slightly higher. I'm not the type of person to complain over a few dollars, but it does add up and it doesn't feel good as a loyal customer. Today was the tipping point for me. Charging a fee just to provide a brake quote, especially for a repeat customer, feels like nickel-and-diming. I wanted to support a local shop, but based on my experiences, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a business that values transparency and long-term customer relationships.

I made an appointment, but was told when I arrived that they got slammed and couldn't work on it and that I had to come back another day. I had a daytime running headlight go out on my BMW, they wanted $180 to diagnose the issue. That's fine. in the past I had paid $100 for check engine light that would not go away. They could not find the issue, so it was just $100 wasted. This time, they said it was the headlight module and repaired it, for a total of $600. It still wasn't completely fixed, as it wasn't as bright as the other, but it was good enough. Over a few weeks it went out again. I brought it in for warranty work. They repaired it again and proceeded to tell me it was going to go out in a couple months, and that I needed a new headlight assembly. Here's the issue: I wanted the headlight fixed completely, and with an incorrect diagnostic, I'm out $600 and I have to pay an additional God knows how much for a complete new headlight assembly. It was just a waste of money. They are good with the oil changes and easier work, but if it's more specialized, consider other options.

I explained this issue over the phone, and again when I arrived. The shop said my front brakes and rotors were worn, so I had both replaced. I assumed this was the reason for the noise. The staff were friendly, helpful, and the price seemed fair. However, after the replacement, the same noise was still there - which was the main reason I came in to begin with. My front brakes would need replacing eventually, but I went in mainly to diagnose the noise. They offered to check the front brakes again for free. They put my car on the lift to listen for brake noise. While I could clearly hear the high-pitched noise each time when braking, the owner said he was unable to hear it. This confused me, because my wife and child can hear the noise every time we leave the driveway. When they backed my car out, we all could hear the high-pitched noise from the rear brakes (not the front brakes). It felt like my main concern wasn't fully addressed during my first visit. I felt like I was first sold a repair (new brakes) before having my actual concerns addressed (noise). Now I'm doubting whether I also needed to replace my water pump that day - which they said was leaking when I first visited to get the brake noise checked. I paid to replace that too, but was it actually necessary, or an upsell? They said they'd take off the rear wheels for $80 to check for debris and clean them, but at this point I'm not confident they would be able to diagnose my issue anymore. I don't want to spend any more money at this shop to check something that should have been checked when I asked on my first visit. To reiterate, all of the staff were friendly and I was treated respectfully and honestly - just to be clear for anyone reading to the end. But I will be looking elsewhere for a shop that listens to customers' concerns before charging for work. UPDATE: After reading the owner's response, I feel shocked. Again, I originally came in only to diagnose a noise - not specifically to replace brakes or rotors (or a water pump). I was happy to pay for new ones in order to solve my issue - the noise. I clearly communicated I was trying to solve the noise both times. I don't appreciate being told it's my fault for not pointing out exactly which wheels the noise was coming from. I'm downgrading this from a 3-star to a 1-star review due to this response. UPDATE 2: No, I was not shown any of my old or new parts before or after replacement - I sat in the waiting room while the work was being done; during the second visit, I was only shown my own car on the lift while trying to diagnose the sound, without any parts removed. But I'm not sure what that has to do with my review. My original noise concern was not resolved, and they didn't seem able to diagnose my issue. The owner's replies to my review sound very unprofessional and accusatory (do you reply like this to every review that's not 5 stars?) and I won't be replying here anymore.
