Great process from Start to Finish! Really helpful with everything I needed and was the perfect car…read morefor me and my family.

About three months ago, my mother and I purchased a vehicle from National Auto Mall. At the time of…read morepurchase, we relied on the dealership's representation that the vehicle had been properly inspected and was in safe, road-ready condition. Unfortunately, a recent experience has revealed a serious issue that raises major concerns about the quality of their inspections, workmanship, and post-sale customer service. We recently took the vehicle in for a routine oil change. Once the car was lifted, it became immediately clear that the protective undercarriage cover designed to shield critical components of the vehicle was not properly secured. Instead of being correctly installed using the proper hardware or replaced if damaged, the cover had been held together with tape. This is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and potentially dangerous. This is not a minor cosmetic issue. The undercarriage cover plays an important role in protecting essential parts of the vehicle from road debris, water, and damage. Using tape instead of proper fasteners or replacement parts suggests that the vehicle was either not properly inspected before being sold or that corners were knowingly cut. Either scenario is extremely concerning and could pose safety risks to the driver and passengers. After discovering this issue, I made several attempts to contact management at National Auto Mall to address the situation and seek a resolution. Each time I called, the manager was either unavailable, "busy," or did not answer. To date, I have not received a return call or any follow-up communication. The lack of accountability and customer care after the sale is just as troubling as the issue itself. This experience has significantly impacted my trust in this dealership. A vehicle purchase is a major investment, and customers should not have to worry about improper repairs or hidden shortcuts being taken underneath the car--especially issues that are not easily visible during a standard walk-around. Because of this, I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from National Auto Mall to take extra precautions. Do not rely solely on appearances or verbal assurances. Make sure to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, including checking underneath the car or having an independent mechanic inspect it before finalizing your purchase. What you don't see can matter the most. I hope this dealership takes responsibility, improves its inspection standards, and provides better communication and support to its customers. This situation could have been avoided with proper workmanship and honest, responsive management.
