The concert venue was a 2 hr drive so I booked a hotel to spend the night. 3 days before the concert I contacted them via chat that I still had not received my tickets. They kept telling me it could be up until an hr before the concert that I would receive my tickets. So I drove the 2 hrs and was sitting in the parking lot of the venue still waiting for my tickets. Turns out they could never reach the seller!! So no concert for me as it was sold out. I think the seller resold the tickets for more money because he could get it. Now in all fairness, the support people were helpful and I received a refund. But this is a bad business model because the resellers tickets aren't frozen when you buy through them, so no guarantee you are going to get to go to the concert. I chose the Honey Bucking section, which is located closer to the stage and seemed like a good deal compared to U.S. prices. After I placed my order, I contacted them several times asking when my tickets would be delivered. Each time, they told me there was "nothing to worry about" and that the tickets would arrive before the event. I trusted their reassurances. Because of that, I booked an international trip for myself, my mother, and my daughter -- including airfare, hotel, rushed passports, meals, and necessities. Altogether, I spent around $6,000, expecting to receive the seats I paid for. Instead, the tickets I eventually received (too late to cancel or adjust travel) were in Section B4 -- near the top of the stadium, third row from the back -- much cheaper and not at all what I ordered. I had to buy replacement tickets the day of the show in a different section just to attend. TicketsOnSale.com's actions were misleading and unacceptable. They took my money, failed to deliver the product as promised, and offered no real solution. When purchasing it never gave me the option as to how to have them delivered... it stated "special delivery", and never had an option to put my parents names. When I received the email confirmation it stated tickets could only be picked up at will call box office and I was the name on the will call pick up. It stated in order to have the name changed to call or email and they would change the name. I do not live in the same state so must get my parents name on the will call pick up for their show.
