I saw this place on TikTok and decided to try it! First of all, the ambiance is amazing, it's very unique and cozy even though it's horror theme. I really liked how well decorated this place was, it looks way better in person than in pictures. Next, the drinks were delicious! I got an horchata cold boo with cold foam (cold foam is extra) it was really good I will say the flavor is unique, the horchata flavor didn't come off very strong but it was still delicious nonetheless! My boyfriend got the cookie butter (Iced) he thought it was pretty good, on the sweeter side and he said the aroma was pretty good! It was like a medium espresso just the right amount, the espresso does not overpower the sweetness. 5/2/26 One of my most favorite horror movie of all times, The Exorcist, read the book at age 11 So this shop caught my attention. Cute hole in the wall tucked in the back at this plaza. You might miss it coz it's really tucked in. Clever decor using VHS tapes. If you are not familiar with those--ask your parents (or Google it lol. Catchy themed drinks, mostly on the BERY sweet side. Location: The shop is located inside the Walk way in between Scardino's Pizza and JM Botánica on the left side. Great spot for a quick grab or small group congregation! Also found out they have a second space right across from the shop! It wasn't opened at the time but looks like they would open it for larger events or maybe weekends. LOVED THE DECOR, and is definitely a coffee shop where you can chill, play board games or watch a movie. They have a cool horror selection of board games to match the theme! First time coming here after seeing social posts of theme Ghost drinks. It was just right to come grab a Ghost drink after being in the pit for their Anaheim concert ritual. Super cute shop! This place is a little hidden, within the alleyway near the Bank of America ATM's. I came in on a Tuesday around 2-3pm, and was greeted immediately. The staff is warm and attentive. The decor here is amazing, and there's indoor and outdoor seating. I liked the details on the VHS tapes on the walls, and they have horror/slasher movies playing. Now, I came for the Frankenstein collab drinks, and they didn't disappoint! The "Victoorrrr" was a pistachio matcha, beautifully green and rich! The "Spirit of the Forest" was a rosemary and thyme mocha, which I really enjoyed! Only downside is that I didn't see a public restroom, but this location is great to hang out and take pictures. I was lured over by their limited time My Chemical Romance themed drinks. This spot is tucked into a huge lot surrounded by businesses. So plenty of parking. Decor is cute and I loved the VHS touches. Huge horror fan so automatically was sold on this place. We went up and ordered our drinks. Unfortunately like the other reviews, they looked nothing like the pictures. No MCR stickers on them. It was a red velvet latte and sad to report it was not good. We've been really excited to try this place out. We came yesterday 2 hours after it opened and it was closed with a sign that said sold out. There was other people who tried arriving as well. One person said the coffee wasn't even worth it. But We still tried again today. Woke up early to arrive at opening which is supposed to open at 10am, but it's still closed. Came on Saturday 11/29 around 1:30pm but it was closed?? the hours for this place on the IG page is advertised as being open Tuesday- Saturday from 12-8pm & Sundays 10am- 8pm... and closed on Monday. If you're not planning on being open despite the schedule you made for your business, the least you can do is let your consumers be aware via IG story etc. that you won't be open. It sucks that my family and I drove from Lake Forest just to try this place, only to be disappointed with a "sold out" sign. Make sure you know they'll be OPEN before making your commute!! My husband surprised me on my birthday by making a quick stop here before lunch. I stopped by 3 previous times last year and it was closed. To my surprise, it was open that day. Interior is cute. Came from Las Vegas for their Ghost drinks as we were in town for the concert. Loved everything we had! We tried the Satanized Hot chai with hot honey and absolutely loved it! My girl got Ratttsss and ate the whipped cream with a spork!! My kiddo got the Lachryma and the drink was gone before we got the others. Love the Horror movie vibes and service staff was incredible!! If you're a coffee lover who also happens to love spooky season all year round, this is the place for you! It's kind of hard to find, I never saw any signs - I just followed my GPS and it led me straight to it. This place is every bit of spooky and all the fun. The decor is amazing, the entire place is filled with memorabilia and posters. They are often playing movies - I went for the Terrifier menu and it did not disappoint. They have a full time menu and then they do drops, usually weekends where they have a special menu along with the regular one. Check out their IG for more information on that. Coffinated has become one of my favorite local spots. I've lived nearby for years and only found it recently, wish I had sooner. The horror theme is done so well! So many cool props and decor. It's a comfortable, inclusive space with great music, movies playing, and games to hang out with. This space lets me enjoy spooky season year round. Their drinks are consistently good; my go-to is the blended Momma's Boy. My husband and I make it part of our weekend routine now. They also host small business pop-ups from time to time. We visited Coffinated coffee today because they were doing for a limited time My Chemical Romance themed drinks. The drinks looked NOTHING like the pictures they have on the menu. They didn't even have the MCR stickers on them. The drinks were ok mostly sugary. The little heart cake was mediocre, the cake itself was kind of dry. The service was a little slow because there was only one person cashiering and making drinks. She did remake one of our drinks to a different one, which was kind of her. The ambiance is cool, the decor is horror themed. They had a movie playing and games you can use. We played uno but the cards were kinda sticky . Overall this place is a vibe but I won't be going out of my way to come. We got 5 drinks and 4 mini cakes for $87. If the drinks looked like the picture or at least had the sticker id be happy. What a treat that this place landed in my reels - it saved me a trip to a place far, far away to quell my hankering for Halloween fun and kitsch. This cafe is easy to miss - it's located in a strip mall in a center alley between a fish n chips shop and a botanica. Walking up, you're greeted by a mannequin from the exorcist - fun!! The venue is small but cozy - easy to pass the time, as they play horror movies while you wait, and have a variety of board games. Me and the kids only intended to get drinks - but we stayed quite awhile fully immersed in "It 2" and several games of Connect 4. The drinks had fun names that paid homage to horror movies. I had a coffee drink with strawberry drizzled in it to look like blood. My kids got a blueberry lemonade with blueberry sharks floating in. However there was NOBODY THERE and it was CLOSED, yet the hours say it's open at 12pm. There was no sign and no post on their social media stating that they'd be closed or opening later. There are other reviews that have had similar reviews. Such a disappointment, truly. Today was the opening day for the Fnaf movie and considering they're using that franchise as advertisement for their place, it's pretty embarrassing for this coffee shop. We both hadn't had our first PSL of the season yet so we each got a different one on the menu. This lace is located on the small shop alley in the strip mall on Francisqyito and Hacienda. The alley is right by the Botanica and Carnabys fish. The outside area has a few small chairs to rest but it was raining so we sat inside The indoor area has a cool array of horror collectibles and decor. For horror fans, this place is something we've always always wished for, but be treated the way I was treated,the way my best friend and her children were treated, was with something to be questioned. It was as if I asked the male, with the patchy beard to do something obscene, the facial expressions alone triggered me, but I held my composure due to being an adult. The horror decor, the VHS tape walls, and the Emo music were pluses, but that is where the positives ended. The service was practically nonexistent, but I guess apathetic is a better word. The coffee itself was REALLY bad. We got an iced oat milk latte with pumpkin spice to attempt to conjure up some Summerween vibes and genuinely the drink just tasted like a glass full of cheap oat milk on ice with a whisper of artificial pumpkin taste. They seem to just use Torani syrups here. There was no coffee flavor at all. It just tasted disgusting, and we ended up throwing it out. I rarely ever throw out coffee, but this really was that bad unfortunately. read more
