What the cloth looks like after I gave my not-cleaned bracelet a quick wipe
    Susie Z.

The service is really appalling. I brought my bracelet in for a cleaning, which they now charge for when it had been free for years. I drop off my bracelet, come back in two days to pick it up. When I get home, I discover that it appears they hadn't done skippity squat to it. My fingers are filthy from touching it. The polishing cloth they gave me is black after I ran it over the bracelet, which they supposedly cleaned. On what earth is this clean. I cannot take these people seriously. (Except for one of the managers there named Justin, he gets a shoutout. Very nice, easygoing and knowledgeable.)

I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and was immediately escorted in by an associate. Apparently each customer waits outside until an associate is available to escort them in. I love this personal touch. BTW, all associates wear masks. The store is beautiful inside. The associate showed me exactly what I was looking for, and I pulled the trigger on the purchase. My necklace was wrapped in their signature blue box and I was on my way. Overall, a very smooth experience.

Two diamond stones came out and they want to charge me $325 on a $750 piece

BUYERS BEWARE OF HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET YOUR JEWELRY REPAIR AT A SO HIGH IN JEWELRY STORE. I have bought a bracelet and started adding pendants charms to it. After adding charms onto the bracelet. I had spent close to $2500 on it. One of the them cost $750 plus tax that had a diamond lightning bolt going through it. 2 of the diamonds came out and I wanted my jewelry polished and add another link to it and replace the stones. They wanted to charge me $325 for replacement of the stones and $75 to add another link to it. Since Tiffany is supposed to be a high-end retailer you would have thought that they would have replaced the stones for free. I told them if I had a soldering iron. I would have solder the extra link myself. They should have a lifetime warranty on their merchandise. I will not be buying any more jewelry from them. I told them I am going to get two chips of crystal and glue them in and maybe put a thin coat of clear fingernail polish or glue so no more stones will fall out. Shame on you Tiffany & Co I have bought jewelry from Kay's Jewelers and I am impressed with them because they do have a lifetime warranty on my jewelry. They inspected and polish it and the last time I came in there the sales clerk had asked me do I want to put platinum on my rings band. I asked her how much would it cost. She said it's free because I have a lifetime warranty. Way to go Kays Jewelers And by the way if any of my stones diamonds whatever come out they will replace it for free. SHAME ON YOU TIFFANY'S. IS THAT HOW YOU REALLY MAKE YOUR MONEY BY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WITH REPAIRS. WHAT A JOKE. I WONDER IF I GO INTO KAY'S AND EXPLAIN TO THEM ABOUT THE POOR QUALITY OF HOW YOUR JEWELRY WAS MADE I'M QUITE SURE THEY WILL REPAIR IT. AND IT MAY NOT COST ME ANYTHING OR JUST A LITTLE SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU. POOR QUALITY ON MERCHANDISE WHAT A RIP OFF. I GUESS THE JOKE WAS ON ME WHEN I'M WALKING AROUND WITH THEIR BRAND SAYING PROPERTY OF TIFFANY'S THINKING THAT'S HIGH-END JEWELRY NOT IN MY BOOK. IN MY OPINION, KAY'S JEWELER IS MUCH BETTER. THEY DON'T RIP YOU OFF FOR ANY DAMAGE OR MISSING DIAMONDS OR STONES THEY WILL REPLACE IT AT NO CHARGE

I love Tiffany perhaps growing up loving Audrey Hepburn and being inspired by my mum. They're very accommodating~ I went to pick up my hardware ring which I dropped off the week before to clean. It's always beautiful and well lit here.

The inner corners of my silver pendant are still discolored / tarnished after the cleaning service.

I am never bringing my Tiffany jewelry items back for cleaning here again. I brought my silver necklace in for a cleaning service and was informed it would be a 2 business day turnaround. Not a big deal. I dropped it off and came back a week later to pick it up. When I received back my item, I noticed the inner corners were still dirty / tarnished!! It was not just one corner, it was ALL FIVE CORNERS (star shape). Like it blows my mind, how does the person cleaning it NOT see that and think "hmm...maybe the customer might not like this??" I can understand if it was a same-day turnaround request that certain spots might get missed. But they had MORE than ample time to check the quality of the clean before giving it back to me. Or at least if it was untreatable, they could have given me a heads up like "hey sorry we tried." I received no communication of any sort owning up to it. It's technically my bad for not checking / giving feedback on the spot, but I assumed due to their luxury brand name that the service would have been impeccable. Never been more wrong in my life!!

But I went in to find a birthday present for a Chinese girlfriend with really good taste in fashion and maybe buy a cute hair clip for myself. A clerk started giggling at me as soon as I walked into the store. Another sales lady walked up to me with a highly disapproving look on her face. "We don't have anything here in your size," she said. I could just tell she was envisioning me ripping the seams out of one of her $180 skirts trying to zip it over my fat ass. I'm well-acquainted giggles and rejection from clothing sales clerks in Thailand, Hong Kong, China, and Japan. But I wasn't expecting it here. Oh well; they lost my business.

Over the years, I've bought hair clips, cell phone charms, skirts, and dresses. The lady was very professional and nice. She is not pushy at all, and lets me have my time browing through the things. When she recommended an item to me, she was not pushy either. Many times I don't buy anything but just tried a few pieces on. She was not angry, like some other Asian store owners do. They have cute Korean style clothes. The price tags are pretty expensive, but they go on sale after a while, like 50% off. I like many styles there, but sometimes just didn't buy them due to the price. Sometimes they have on-sale items hanging outside the store. $29.99 a piece. I've found great bargains there. I bought a summer skirt, a winter skirt, and a full dress! Great deals.

It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. FabMo is a wonderful community resource that I wish more people knew about. Run by a cadre of…read moremostly women volunteers, this organization rescues discontinued samples from upscale design showrooms in San Francisco. Housed in a small Sunnyvale warehouse, the organization says that each year, they keep about 70 tons (!) of material from going to the landfill. FabMo hosts regular sales open to the public as well as biannual "free giveaway" events. Customers can find tile, carpet, textile fabrics, wallpaper and more. Many materials are provided for free to teachers and there are also donations from the local community. Quilting fabrics, silk fabrics, jewelry making items, sewing notions, leather, decorations and much, much more are offered for sale in person or online through the FabMo eBay store. The only thing I wish that FabMo would do is to develop a partnership with WomenSV - a non-profit group based in the neighboring town of Los Altos. WomenSV helps women get out of abusive relationships. A little known fact about California family law is that, while the legal process is ongoing, individuals are prohibited from selling or using community property to make money. This allows for a continuation of financial abuse by the more powerful partner as they can delay the legal process indefinitely. In my own case, the divorce has been going on for three years as my ex has blocked me from accessing funds that are legally mine. Thanks to the low and no-cost materials I got from FabMo, I have been able to make and sell small craft items in order to buy groceries and obtain veterinary care for my service dog. As FabMo already hosts regular crafting lessons, I wonder if FabMo could somehow do community outreach to provide materials and teach skills to women trying to leave their abusers. Even people who have already managed to escape could benefit from the amazing work that the FabMo volunteers do. They're so successful at saving materials - - wouldn't it be great they could be a part of saving lives. Thanks, FabMo!

L O C A T I O N There are two locations for paid parking which was stated on the website. Paid garage located at 1278 S 10th Street Paid parking lot located at 350 E. Humboldt Street We opted for the closer parking. Luckily you can pay on mobile if you have reception. I luckily did out of the 4 of us that were there. Otherwise, you'd have to wait in line to pay at the kiosk. So budget some time to pay for waiting for the kiosk in case you don't have cell phone reception. Parking was $15 + fee. E V E N T It's a large park and if you show up as one of the first 100 people, you get a free tote bag with this year's design for the event. Unluckily even though we showed maybe half an hour after the opening, it was all gone. So make sure you go early if you want the freebie. The event itself is free and it's outdoors so you can bring your furry friend but they need to be leashed. There are large water filling stations and port o potties. Feel free to bring your water canteens. It said you couldn't bring outside drinks or food but we were able to bring in our own filled bottles as well as some Starbucks drinks. But of course worse case is that you have to bring back your stuff to your car. It's not a far walk but it's still a walk from the parking structure. They do have a nice map of the booths as well as events throughout the day. They also have a bunch of food stands and trucks there if you want to make it a day. We opted to just go outside for food as the lines were long and the day was hot. Although not as big as the Winterfest, this event was a nice outdoor one with various craft goods. I always am in awe with all these makers. They're all so talented! O V E R A L L If you're wanting to do some walking and perusing of crafts, it's not a bad way to spend a couple hours of your day.
