TLDR: basically the boy sales associate either didn't like my sarcasm or didn't want to help a customer that wears Rolex and Gucci because he pawned me off to an actually better associate named Ai. I really want to give T&Co. 5 stars because I've been a long time customer ever since I was a teenager. My engagement and wedding rings and wedding earrings and necklace are even from here. But today's experience should have been on an episode of, "sales associates behaving like they don't need to take home a paycheck." Went in on Memorial Day, May 26 around 6:35pm. I wanted to try on a watch to make sure it fit my big a*$ wrist. Really wanted to get the Union Square watch with Tiffany Blue brushed Calf strap. The boy that was helping me (didn't get his name but he was the only boy sales associate). He obviously didn't know his products because he took out a different color one (brown brushed Calf). As he was unwrapping it from the generic looking, plastic clam shell box I jokingly said, "hahahahah is that what the watches come in? Hahahahah" and laughed. He got all serious, like I hurt his ego and said "they all come like this from the manufacturer. Even Rolexes." Bro. It was just a joke. And if I wanted to buy another Rolex I wouldn't be in your store. Didn't you notice the one I was already wearing? I then told him that was not the color. Which I had already said. Then he said, "let me see if we even have it in store... oh no you can order it online or go to the Walnut Creek. It cost $3,700". Then he started putting the watch back inside the darn plastic to-go looking container. I said, "aren't you going to at least let me try it on." What in the good Lord are you doing there? Just standing around doing nothing in your empty store? He then asked a different sales associate to help me. Her name is Ai. She was cool. Very helpful and let me at least try it on. Answered my questions about my engagement ring. Although the watch didn't quite fit my fat a**, at least she said he was going to ask if they could switch the band for a longer one. Like damn dude that's all I wanted to know and homeboy got all butt hurt with my snarky comment. Relax man. I'll make sure to never pass you up if I ever feel like buying anything else in this store. Came to Tiffany & Co. to get my wedding ring cleaned and left disappointed. The Chinese lady who initially helped us was rude and unfriendly. Thankfully, she called over another gentleman to assist us and he was much nicer and more professional. I really don't understand why luxury stores hire nice-looking staff with garbage attitudes. Customer service should match the brand experience. To make things worse, after picking up my ring, I honestly couldn't even tell if it had been cleaned. I have been a Tiffany & Co client for well over a decade! They used to be in the back of the Valley Fair Mall under Uniqlo, I loved that spot because the door looked like a vault. The new spot is very bright, modern, and open. I'm unsure how so many folks had an unsavory experience based off the multitude of reviews; nevertheless, I digress. I've only had TOP TIER SERVICE at Tiffany and Co. From engraving, resizing to be sent back to the flag ship store in New York City, to my life time cleanings. Most notably, Vicky!! Vicky has helped me select wedding bands, push presents (for pushing through life lol), treat yo self gifts, and gifts (ranging from baby showers, graduation gifts, and house warming gifts). Vicky has truly been a pillar service advisor for many milestones in my life. For the value of Tiffany & Co, yes it is expensive. You're paying for the name and the experience of being a T&C client. It may not be of value to everyone, but it's a priceless value to me based off the many interactions I've had with my client advisor. One of my favorite memories with them is getting to see the laser numbers on my diamonds under their super microscope. Each diamond of a particular carat weight has a serial code, that you can't see with the naked human eye. read more

The service is really appalling. I brought my bracelet in for a cleaning, which they now charge for when it had been free for years. I drop off my bracelet, come back in two days to pick it up. When I get home, I discover that it appears they hadn't done skippity squat to it. My fingers are filthy from touching it. The polishing cloth they gave me is black after I ran it over the bracelet, which they supposedly cleaned. On what earth is this clean. I cannot take these people seriously. (Except for one of the managers there named Justin, he gets a shoutout. Very nice, easygoing and knowledgeable.) read more

Stopped by here at 10:40 on a Saturday and the store had one customer, I wanted to get my bracelet cleaned. The sales associate told me it would take a day because I didn't have an apt and it's a "high traffic mall". I don't live in the area and just went to Cartier (without an apt as well) and they cleaned my two bracelets with no problem. They were also busier than Tiffany's. I went into the store wanting to buy a few pieces from the silver collection as gifts, but when I talked to one of the Sales Associates, they informed me that they don't carry any silver pieces in store, only gold, and that I had to order it online. I wanted to see the pieces in person before I chose, so I called Client Services to see if any other locations carried silver in store. To my surprise, I was told that the Valley Fair location does have multiple of some of the pieces I was interested in stock. I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and was immediately escorted in by an associate. Apparently each customer waits outside until an associate is available to escort them in. I love this personal touch. BTW, all associates wear masks. The store is beautiful inside. The associate showed me exactly what I was looking for, and I pulled the trigger on the purchase. BUYERS BEWARE OF HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET YOUR JEWELRY REPAIR AT A SO HIGH IN JEWELRY STORE. I have bought a bracelet and started adding pendants charms to it. After adding charms onto the bracelet. I had spent close to $2500 on it. One of the them cost $750 plus tax that had a diamond lightning bolt going through it. 2 of the diamonds came out and I wanted my jewelry polished and add another link to it and replace the stones. They wanted to charge me $325 for replacement of the stones and $75 to add another link to it. Since Tiffany is supposed to be a high-end retailer you would have thought that they would have replaced the stones for free. I told them if I had a soldering iron. I would have solder the extra link myself. They should have a lifetime warranty on their merchandise. I will not be buying any more jewelry from them. I told them I am going to get two chips of crystal and glue them in and maybe put a thin coat of clear fingernail polish or glue so no more stones will fall out. Shame on you Tiffany & Co I have bought jewelry from Kay's Jewelers and I am impressed with them because they do have a lifetime warranty on my jewelry. They inspected and polish it and the last time I came in there the sales clerk had asked me do I want to put platinum on my rings band. I asked her how much would it cost. She said it's free because I have a lifetime warranty. Way to go Kays Jewelers And by the way if any of my stones diamonds whatever come out they will replace it for free. SHAME ON YOU TIFFANY'S. I am never bringing my Tiffany jewelry items back for cleaning here again. I brought my silver necklace in for a cleaning service and was informed it would be a 2 business day turnaround. Not a big deal. I dropped it off and came back a week later to pick it up. When I received back my item, I noticed the inner corners were still dirty / tarnished!! It was not just one corner, it was ALL FIVE CORNERS (star shape). Like it blows my mind, how does the person cleaning it NOT see that and think "hmm...maybe the customer might not like this??" I can understand if it was a same-day turnaround request that certain spots might get missed. But they had MORE than ample time to check the quality of the clean before giving it back to me. Or at least if it was untreatable, they could have given me a heads up like "hey sorry we tried." I received no communication of any sort owning up to it. It's technically my bad for not checking / giving feedback on the spot, but I assumed due to their luxury brand name that the service would have been impeccable. I got my Necklace chain adjustable gold chain and 2 pendants clean at this store. My husband picked it up and they just handed it to him not showing the Jewelry inside. We lived far like 85miles away. When I checked my necklace the chain is not the same. It is not adjustable someone change it. I only found out when I am about to wear it for an event. It has been in the paper bag. I am going to complain about this incident and calling a customer service. This is very unprofessional to the point where they gave me wrong chain and I can tell it is not mine. I know my gold chain and all my necklace chain I buy are all adjustable. I want my chain back. This is an update to my review last month when I griped about the absurdity of waiting outside the store when it didn't appear there was an actual need to manage crowd size. Since that visit, I returned twice-- for the second visit, I had made an appointment online for their polishing service. During the third visit, I spent a moderately sizable chunk of change on platinum jewelry that I had been considering back during my first visit. I didn't wait these times, and there was no difference in headcount in how many people I was with nor the time of day. The reason I am writing this is because I feel remorse for the sales representative who helped us during the first visit. Because of the time idling at the entrance, we didn't have enough time to try to ultimately buy. Had Tiffany allowed us to enter when we arrived instead of have us wait, we would have been more likely to shortlist what we had in mind, try it on for size, and then buy. We barely had 5 minutes in the store before we had to rush to an appointment elsewhere. I hope staff will take a moment to consider the impact of their discretionary decisions on how not only prospective buyers but also salespeople are affected. I would not have returned if not for my tarnished jewelry so I think the sales representative from my second and third visit benefited a lot more than the first person who helped us, and I feel sorry about that because a significant reason he didn't make the sale was because he had no time to do so. read more

Stopped by on a whim to try on some bracelets. Hugo, the sales associate who helped me, was very patient as he pulled out various styles for me to try on. I was indecisive, but eventually set my sights on a ring. I left pretty happy, but once I tried it on, the ring felt a bit loose on my finger so I brought it back later that evening. Hugo was quick to help me out with the sizing again and we did an exchange for a smaller size. My husband purchased a $1200 Tiffany bracelet for me for our 25th wedding anniversary. It fell off 3 times. When I brought it in to have it looked at I was asked by the door guard if I had an appointment. I did not so I waited 20 minutes to enter the store. When I was seen by the store associate I was asked again if I had an appointment. I told her I did not and she said that I really should have made an appointment (there were maybe 3 other customers in the store). She took down my information and said she would have to send my bracelet in for repair and that she wasn't sure how much it would cost. I asked if they had a warranty- I had only had the bracelet for 6 months. She said no and was cold and aloof during the entire exchange. It turned out they were going to charge $250 to fix it. I asked them to send it back, took it to a local jeweler who ultimately charged me $68. I will never shop here again (I've purchased 3 items on my own in the past as gifts for others). read more

Not a typical store I would find myself gazing in but totally fell in love with the history of Tiffany & Co. post two quick visits here! first stop-in i just had a quick question but they were understaffed and busy. Still, everyone was polite and kind from entry to exit. second visit won me over, the staff was superb and flawless imo. i watch by not looking, and everyone was attentive and able to assist customers as guests with elegance and grace. nicely orchestrated i was intimidated to walk in both times, as i stated im not typically a Tiffany fanatic. Anyway, today i was gifted a little jewlery plate made of beautiful red glass with gold blown in it, and on the smaller priced items of the store i absolutely fell in love with it & who the designer Elsa Peretti was in iconic history and how she lived and left her legacy, actually really adds to the experience of my two recent visits. and now that i learned a little bit about the designer, suddenly its like i had fallen in love with new york city all over again. i now own a piece of it in her design. i read that before she recently died in 2021 she said her best jewlery design was the "Gem" of her Foundation to give back all that had been given to her. Kinda really very cool. the store manager also rocks some classic jewlery beautiful bracelet and gorgeous earrings, she left a lasting impression. what i loved was that the people were kind and not stuffy .. albeit even the dogs who walk in are also on best behavior ;-) read more

Came here one night 30 minutes before closing to browse through necklaces our office was going to chip in as a farewell gift to our boss. The associate, Inez, helped me so much by running back and forth as I was messaging my team about which necklace would be most suitable. I couldn't commit to a particular necklace due to indecisiveness amongst my team and asked if it was okay to contemplate overnight on our decision. Inez was not only understanding, but patient with me. That night, she provided me with her business card and said I could always text her about my decision. I was supposed to have texted her yes or no but I completely overslept. Sorry, Inez! The next day, I went back with a brand new set of necklaces my team had narrowed down. This time, Jose assisted me. I did see Inez assisting another client and wanted to personally thank her for the night before but she ended up being with the client longer than I was at the store. Hoping you see this, Inez! Jose was incredibly patient with my purchase. I had to get feedback from my team, which took some time. He patiently waited on the side for me to make a decision and when it was time, he wrapped everything up for me. He even reminded me to give Inez credit despite me changing everything up the following day. Nevertheless, both Inez and Jose were of tremendous help and I can't thank them enough. In search of some quality sterling silver there are few with the quality that Tiffany & Co. offers. The Service in the stores is excellent to help you make a purchase but the presentation of the 5 pieces of jewelry in a paper box versus how it is advertised on the web is a complete loss of quality and attention to deal. In fact the salesperson in the store says that the pieces are not presented in the T&Co. box as it causes the jewelry to tarnish. This begs the question as to why it is advertised with a presentation box. We contact T&Co. via the web form and did not hear a response in two days, sent an e-mail and again no response for two days and finally reached a customer service rep via an online chat. Finally established a connection and once again T&Co ignored the feedback. They were to come back with a solution but have yet to hear back. If you are looking for a jeweler that cares about you and the service they offer I would advise to shop elsewhere. read more

Amazing T&Co. store with outstanding customer service. The staff is helpful in answering all our jewelry questions (in this case about wedding bands) and they were not pushy at all. We were able to purchase the wedding band in the right size after trying on a few and we're in and out of the store within less than 30 minutes. They provided great ring cleaning service for the engagement ring as well and it looked as good as new! :) For any items they were not in stock in store, the reps let us know they could order the item and have it shipped to store or home. We got engaged and I got a surprise bracelet for her to wear at the wedding, for Christmas. She opened her blue box and there were earrings looking back at her. This was a very public opening and thusly, instantly, became embarrassing. Worse than Tiffany's mistake was their customer service to fix the mistake, which you would receive better at Kay's. They were more concerned with getting their wrong (and cheaper) merchandise back and had no willingness to make sure we got it engraved for our wedding, in a few days. We spent the entire day traveling from one Tiffany's to another, trying to get it done and instead of making anything right, they gifted us a journal....yes, a monumental mess up and they give us a journal and sent us to sit in 3 hours of traffic to try and pick it up at another store. My husband bought me a bracelet for my birthday gift from Palo Alto branch and it was a medium size. He was told just to come back any time for cleaning and resize at any branch. We visited Valley Fair so we stopped by the store. We were told by the security guy who stood at the door that we need to make an appointment online. We left on that day and went online to make appointment for next week. When we came back next week at our appointment, we allowed to go inside and waited at the counter for the person to help. The lady came and she asked for our phone number and we gave it to her, she told us that she couldn't find our appointment when the security guy at the door did. She came across as unpleasant and annoyed at us. I gave her the bracelet and she told us to come back 2 hrs later to pickup. We were confused because she didn't ask why we were there and didn't measure my wrist to resize. I asked her and she was like I thought you were here to clean. After all that she suggested that I should return and rebought a smaller size since it's more complicated to resize. We did just that but until now two weeks later, still no bracelet. Such a bad customer service. I was thinking of returning it when I received it because I feel like when I look at it, it will remind me of the unpleasant experience that we had. These 5's all belong to Arezou! My wife and I walked by Tiffany & Co. towards checking out the new Eataly buzz. When the door of the store was closing my wife thought we should ask what time Tiffany & Co. closed thinking it closes earlier than other stores do. Arezou walked towards us walking towards the door and opened it for us then with a huge warm smile and greeting told us that we had plenty of time to come back. We assumed she was the store manager the way she carried herself. Thirty minutes later we arrived back and we're in the tabletop/gift section for a while with no one approaching us (the complete opposite of being hounded - but still odd). Who we thought was the store manager (Arezou) was with someone so we patiently waited for someone to assist us. When another woman was done with her customer, she proceeded to walk right by us and towards the front of the store. We had to follow after her to finally get assistance and it was pretty much a chore or bother for her to be WORKING. While she spent a huge amount of time wrapping the gift that we selected, we spent a huge amount of time building a rapport with Arezou! She ends up not being the store manager but one of the sweetest, customer service oriented, people person whom we've seen in any retail store in a very long time. She had my wife try on rings, shared an abundance of knowledge and experience with us and caused what would have been a disappointing and dry shopping experience into a very pleasurable as well as an enjoyable one. IMHO Sadly I was only going to Tiffany & Co. to buy a gift card as a Christmas gift, and not to treat myself. As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Katie. She showed me to a waiting seat while she prepared my gift. I dared not look at all the pretty sparkly things while I waited. Instead I told my husband to look around for something for me... No, he didn't buy me anything. Katie wrapped my pretty blue gift box and put it in the signature blue gift bag and we were soon on our way. I always go to Tiffany and Co at valley fair because it is the closest one. I recently have been helped by Vicky twice so far. The first one was to repair my Tiffany bracelet and also look at graduation bracelets. Vicky was amazing she showed us so many bracelets and some that weren't even on display yet. I went back to Tiffany to buy my graduation bracelet and she was so helpful. She also helped me repair my necklace as well! I cannot wait to buy more Tiffany and work with her in the future. Excellent service! We were helped by Leanne who guided us to find our perfect wedding bands; we love them very much! We also wanted to do engraving and Leanne set up an appointment with a master engraver that came down to San Jose so we can watch it in person when he was engraving. It was so memorable. Thank you so much Leanne! The master engraver, Ron, was also amazing and very knowledgeable. He told us about the techniques that were passed down from master to apprentic, and even helped us pick a style and message! It was so cool to watch him engrave our rings by hand! read more
