Really enjoyable dinner at Tiffany's Bistro in the Chateau Big Bear Boutique Hotel. We got there early for dinner and had a great experience overall. The apple cranberry salad was excellent and tasted very fresh. The steak was very tender, and the herb crusted salmon with pilau rice was solid as well. The ambience was lively without being overwhelming, and the beautiful elaborate glass dome really makes the space feel special. Service was great throughout the evening. Attentive, warm, and present without being pushy or constantly interrupting the meal. Overall, a very good dinner and a spot I'd happily come back to when in Big Bear Lake. read more

Located in Big Bear Lake, Tiffany's Bistro is a popular establishment for both locals and tourists to dine while listening to live music. This restaurant is inside Chateau Big Bear and features a 57-foot ornate Tiffany dome. On this evening, my family and I got to see pianist Mike Cross perform blues music along with a drummer and bassist. Mike was very friendly, and we got to exchange greetings after the show. We got the chicken marsala, spaghetti bolognese, and Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken marsala came as a big portion with a lot of mashed potatoes along with steamed carrots and charred broccoli. It was delicious with the rich and savory marsala wine sauce. Also, I never realized that charred broccoli can be so tasty. Service was a little spotty as it took long to flag a server for drink refills. Otherwise, this was overall an enjoyably memorable dining experience with my family. read more

I generally only leave positive reviews, unless it's a ridiculously negative situation, and that's the case here. Two friends and I walked in yesterday evening and it was packed so we asked if we could sit. They said no problem and said when we're ready to order, just come into the cash register at the bar. When we went to place our order, the bartender snapped at us very angrily that there were two orders ahead of us, and she was doing everything she could, but we'd just have to wait. She added that she's the only one on staff allegedly, apparently thinking that was an excuse for her horrible behavior. She added that she would get out to us as soon as she could, but it was going to be a long time. Clearly part of her anger was that we had come to order, apparently rushing her, but when we told her we were instructed to come in and place an order at the bar she angrily asked who told us that and then was ever so slightly apologetic. After another weight, bringing our total to 45 minutes with no one approaching the table, we left, but before that, noticed someone else sitting on the outside patio went in, then left shortly thereafter, so most likely received the same rudeness we did. I'm reasonably mellow and understand people have bad days and there can be little slip ups. But this is the most egregious attitude issue with anyone at any retail outlet I can recall. The way she lasted out at us, was just rude and mean and way out of line. There's no other way to put it. So we left and went to Moon Ridge room. read more

We saw this place while just driving by as it's not near any of the tourist centers, and decided to check it out for happy hour. We were intrigued by the stained glass dome inside that was taken apart piece by piece and sent to big bear from a brothel in Paris, some Europe culture comes to big Bear, lol! It was a lovely area to sit and enjoy a drink and the happy hour prices were the best I've experienced in big bear, only charged four dollar for my beer! We were staying in the hotel, so this was an easy choice for dinner. We sat in the bar, where they had live entertainment (singer/guitar player). So that made for great atmosphere. We ordered a salad and flatbread pizza. Both were solid. We also had an old fashioned and a chocolate martini. Both were handcrafted. Both tasted great. Overall, good food, decent prices (hotel prices) and free entertainment. I would reccomend Tiffany's to someone looking for dinner. read more

We went there because our fave musician in Big Bear, Mike Cross, was playing. We had never been there before, though we are in BB at least once a year. It was fantastic, and we might even stay at the hotel next time. The food was great, the happy hour generous and the service was so on spot. That ceiling is worth $400,000! Such a history! Beautiful room with the Tiffany Dome. Our servers Amy and Ashley were friendly and provided excellent care. Arrived Friday for Happy Hour and got a table immediately. Started out w the Happy Hour Menu and went on to order a delicious NY Steak off the dinner menu. Very fair prices on both. Music started at 6PM and did not disappoint. Hillary played and sang for an hour; some of her own compositions and also some memorable and recognizable tunes. Great pipes on this gal!! read more

Two stars only because the ambiance was okay. We went on a Thursday, Tiffany's had advertised that they are now open on Thursdays for dinner, I even called ahead to confirm. At arrival, no friendly greeting, we were told to sit anywhere. Only round tables for two or four and we had five in our party so we had to move tables ourselves. Still, okay. We order drinks and ask a question about an appetizer. Drinks come and now ready to order dinner. We wanted steak, salmon and chicken entrees along with some salads and etc. BUT the server says, "oh we don't have the top three items on the menu Thursdays". That being the steak, salmon AND chicken. "What? That's all the main entrees". She just shrugged and I said, "you probably should have mentioned this from the start". She proceeded to just walk away. We paid for our drinks and went somewhere else. Very strange. Maybe don't advertise that you are open for dinner if you are not prepared to serve any of the three main entrees! read more

We waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. During that time, no one acknowledged us or even let us know they would be with us shortly. When I politely asked if we could place our order, the waitress responded with an irritated attitude, saying she had three tables before us and would come only after them. This is a very small restaurant, and many of the guests inside were simply enjoying drinks. We are staying at this hotel and had been looking forward all day to having dinner while listening to the live music. Instead, we were met with rude and unwelcoming service. This was neither friendly nor professional, and certainly not the level of service anyone should expect. I was genuinely shocked and will not tolerate being treated with such disrespect. Everyone else we've met in Big Bear has been incredibly kind and welcoming, which made this experience even more disappointing. We left without ordering because we no longer felt welcome. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no guest should ever be treated this way. Fortunately, there are many other wonderful restaurants and cafés with live music in Big Bear where we were treated with kindness and had a lovely evening. They truly saved our night. Came back to this place last weekend and again we had an amazing time and great service! Come for happy hour and Sean our server/bartender took great care of us. He came often to check on us, made some great drinks and some drink recommendations, which were amazing. He told us about an event the following day "Breakfast at Tiffany's". We had such a great time Friday we came back on Saturday and had a blast. Will definitely be back and have Sean make me one of his delicious old fashioned. I wasn't planning to write a review, but this experience was very disappointing. My 6-year-old daughter was briefly standing near the server's path, and instead of kindly asking us to move, the server gave us a very harsh look and spoke in a way that made us feel uncomfortable. It felt unwelcoming and unnecessary, especially toward a child. What made it worse was that we were not acknowledged or seated at all -- we were simply ignored. This was the first time I've experienced this kind of treatment at a restaurant. We were visiting with our family to enjoy the end of the year, and I truly did not expect such an unpleasant experience. My non-profit held a fundraiser at the adjoining hotel for a 4 days and Tiffany's served as the gathering place for our donors in their downtime. Nicole is a first-class mixologist who can keep great conversation while also handling a room-filled rush, and making you one of the best Old Fashioned you'll taste. If you're a local looking to try new food, i wouldn't do it here. probably the worst thing i've been served in god knows how long i had to send it back immediately after one bite and i never ever do that. went for my birthday, the live music was insanely loud in that tiny dining room too. you have to yell to speak to anyone. and our waitress was extremely inattentive, sitting in peoples laps and chatting while i was waiting 30 minutes for my NEW meal after waiting 40 for my original meal. and she didn't even retake my order she disappeared, my friend went to order from the bar for me otherwise i wouldn't have eaten anything that night. the new meal i got eventually was frozen fried fish and decent fries. my friends during all this had ordered drinks and she never put the order in for them and once we reminded her she slapped them together in 2 minutes herself not even the bartender. the ONLY thing id say is maybe getting an appetizer, maybe. and some wine. that's all. the only thing redeemable is that they gave me some cheesecake for my birthday, it was clearly cisco frozen cheesecake but i'm not complaining it was free. the waitress felt bad, but considering it was my first experience as well as all of my friends, it left a bad taste in our mouths almost as bad as the salmon dish. read more

We love coming in to Tiffany's Bistro on Friday and Saturday nights! It is a beautiful place and the service is always great. Nicole is a fantastic server and bartender along with her co-bartender. Chef Robert is a very well tuned chef and has curated recipes for a very special menu. The menu seems to be developing as time goes by, since this is a rather new, revamped restaurant . I'm so glad they decided to expand this bistro. It's been great! There's a grand piano in the corner and each weekend the very famous and well known Big Bear local performer Mike Cross plays and interacts with the crowd in a way that makes everyone feel welcome and special. Their burgers are good, their salads are fresh and crisp, but their herb encrusted salmon and chicken Marsala is really fantastic! I think I'll try the steak next time. We like to go on weekends with neighbors and enjoy the food and lively entertainment. It's far from the village and the chaos, which is nice, it is tucked into the Chateau Big Bear Hotel on Moonridge Road which is just off the boulevard. Wonderful place! read more
