We saw this place while just driving by as it's not near any of the tourist centers, and decided to check it out for happy hour. We were intrigued by the stained glass dome inside that was taken apart piece by piece and sent to big bear from a brothel in Paris, some Europe culture comes to big Bear, lol! It was a lovely area to sit and enjoy a drink and the happy hour prices were the best I've experienced in big bear, only charged four dollar for my beer! The brussels sprouts were delicious and the server was very friendly and helpful. I can definitely see us returning to this happy hour...

We went there because our fave musician in Big Bear, Mike Cross, was playing. We had never been there before, though we are in BB at least once a year. It was fantastic, and we might even stay at the hotel next time. The food was great, the happy hour generous and the service was so on spot. That ceiling is worth $400,000! Such a history! We will be back.

Live Music and drink specials on Friday and Saturday 6 to 9pm! This is the most delectable Après-ski experience just minutes from the slope. The cocktail lounge & bistro compliment the hotel's wonderful decor with a robust offering of food and spirits. Tiffany's Bistro offers a full breakfast in house after your stay in Chateau Big Bear. We stopped for the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" experience and decided to pull up to the bar to enjoy their signature Bloody Mary and a breakfast sandwich. Instantly a new favorite! See you again Après-ski

Romantic Ambiance - Fireplace, twinkling lights, and elegant cabin-chic decor. Creative Dishes - Upscale twists on classics - herb crusted salmon Wine Selection - Well-curated list with pairing suggestions. Pricey - Entrées run $30-$50; more of a special-occasion spot. Ideal For: Anniversaries, romantic dinners, wine enthusiasts. Best for upscale dining, ambiance, and classic French-American fare.

Came back to this place last weekend and again we had an amazing time and great service! Come for happy hour and Sean our server/bartender took great care of us. He came often to check on us, made some great drinks and some drink recommendations, which were amazing. He told us about an event the following day "Breakfast at Tiffany's". We had such a great time Friday we came back on Saturday and had a blast. Will definitely be back and have Sean make me one of his delicious old fashioned. He also made a great Bloody Mary.

If you're a local looking to try new food, i wouldn't do it here. probably the worst thing i've been served in god knows how long i had to send it back immediately after one bite and i never ever do that. went for my birthday, the live music was insanely loud in that tiny dining room too. you have to yell to speak to anyone. and our waitress was extremely inattentive, sitting in peoples laps and chatting while i was waiting 30 minutes for my NEW meal after waiting 40 for my original meal. and she didn't even retake my order she disappeared, my friend went to order from the bar for me otherwise i wouldn't have eaten anything that night. the new meal i got eventually was frozen fried fish and decent fries. my friends during all this had ordered drinks and she never put the order in for them and once we reminded her she slapped them together in 2 minutes herself not even the bartender. the ONLY thing id say is maybe getting an appetizer, maybe. and some wine. that's all. the only thing redeemable is that they gave me some cheesecake for my birthday, it was clearly cisco frozen cheesecake but i'm not complaining it was free. the waitress felt bad, but considering it was my first experience as well as all of my friends, it left a bad taste in our mouths almost as bad as the salmon dish.

Had dinner here last night with my fiancé and both of us were so thoroughly impressed by every…read moreaspect of our experience - that I just had to log-in to write this review. There were a a handful of people waiting to be seated when we arrived and the couple before us were seated at the last outdoor patio table available. The hostess told us that we could go upstairs to the bar area and sit anywhere we wanted and a server would be with us directly. So that's what we did. As a side note, the whole vibe of the restaurant was very comfortable and the building itself is pretty remarkable. Water and menus were delivered within minutes of us selecting our table, and our waitress Victoria maintained that same level of attentiveness the whole time we were there. The biggest shortcoming of so many restaurants in and around Big Bear is the bar and their specialty drinks. But this place just slam dunked on every other restaurant we've ever tried over the years - and not just for the drinks. I love a good old fashioned but until last night, every place I'd been to served their old fashioned in a glass full of ice like I was getting a soda at a fast food drive through. Not here. A proper big block ice cube made the "Maple old fashioned" (hands down) the best drink I've ever had. (I think they've got like 7 or 8 different varieties of the old fashioned and I will definitely be back to try them.) Our potato skins appetizer was on another level and that was before our entrees even arrived. My beef dip sandwich was perfect as was wifey's chicken Scaloppini. The timing of food arriving and the periodic check-ins from our waitress was flawless. We spoke briefly with the bartender, Doug (who may or may not have been one of the owners) to express how much we enjoyed our drinks and dinner. The hallmark of a well-run restaurant is that everyone who works there conducts themselves like it's their name on the sign out front. That's exactly what we got from everyone involved. Whoever is in charge of the kitchen staff deserves a Michelin star rating. The rest of the staff is equally impressive. I can't say enough about this place. Excellent drinks, excellent food and dynamite service. If you want a top-notch dining experience in Big Bear, this should be your first and only choice. From now on, it'll be mine.

Food meh. Staff excellent…read more I ordered a rare burger that came out with ashes it was so burnt. I was offered the owner's first born, (kidding). Staff was very apologetic and went above and beyond. At least customer service is on point. You can always build from there.

We had an absolute fantastic experience at this restaurant…read more 1. The view of the lake is phenomenal. On the night we were there we saw fish, jumping, kids running around and playing, and lots of boats. 2. They had an amazing beer selection (although I wish it had been significantly colder). 3. I had the salmon cilantro salad, which was delicious, crisp, fresh, and very filling. 4. The server was very busy, but we never felt neglected. I will absolutely go back

Food, service, and ambiance were all terrible. The ONLY redeeming aspect was being near the lake,…read morebut even the view was marred by all the open umbrellas on the patio that we weren't allowed to go out on. Fettuccine Alfredo had no flavor - none, the chicken piccata was oddly sweet, our server disappeared - never saw her again, and the other 2 servers were busy with the 2 other couples so we had looooong wait times. The decor is brown. That's it, just brown, well, with some random "Americana" stuff thrown in at the booths. The women's bathroom had toilet seat cover boxes but they were both empty and 2 paper towel machines but only 1 worked. The men's bathroom, apparently, was dirty and the 2 urinals were both covered with trash bags. 1 order of Fettuccine Alfredo (no protein), 1 order of Chicken Piccata, and 1 root beer - $59. What?! Don't go. Ever.
