For a $16 poke bowl, I guess I was expecting a bit more fish. Also, the rice had a sour ish taste (according to me). The Roots plate quantity was solid but the short rib was very chewy. Definitely a preference thing but chewy short rib is not my jam. The flavors were good though. There wasn't much of a service aspect to our experience cause we took our meal to go. Unfortunately was a bit disappointed as the food didn't hit the mark but very open to trying again in the future.

I love coming here because their staff is always so friendly and the food is incredible. Their Mac salad is out of this world and their steamed rice is oh so fluffy. If I remember correctly, I think they might also have a garlic shrimp offering as well that was equally yummy, but it's been a minute, so you'll have to double check with the staff directly. Parking lot is shared in a small strip lot, so it might be tough, but it's worth the drive and wait. You can call your order in or place it online. Prices are fair for the portion and quality, and I recommend this place to everyone that visits Orange County. I'm not even a fried chicken person, but will enjoy a plate of the Hawaiian fried chicken every time I'm in the area to visit my grandpa.
