Huh? I don't understand. Literally tastes like a cup of milk with boba. Not impressed at all. For $5.50 a pop, no way!

When I first tried my tiger sugar boba, I was AMAZED at the flavors. It had that dark and deep brown sugar kick with warm super soft chewy boba mixed with cold iced milk. Why haven't I had this sooner?? But unfortunately, the quality seems to have gone down since. The last two times I came here, the boba was hard and not fresh. I don't see the tiger streaks hanging on my cup, it all settles too quickly down to the bottom of my cup with a now mild brown sugar taste, it quickly becomes a watered down sugar milk drink. The mind blown factor is gone. Not sure if that's worth the $6 a pop anymore. read more

It's really good! I like how the boba is warm even though the drink is cold because I really like the texture. However, it's a bit over-priced for the size that they give you, and they don't let you modify your drink. I just wanted less ice. There's so much hype about this place because of the pictures they see on their Instagram. One of my student told me about this place so my husband and I went here to try it. My first visit was not really good with their customer service, I ordered the Milo Milktea and when I got our order they made mine brown sugar milktea instead since they said they were out of Milo. I told the manager why the lady that took my order didn't tell me that and decided to make me a different flavor? Also, she was already rude taking my order as if I've been there before. The manager told me that she is new and apologized. My husband liked his black milktea so we went back the second time, my husband do not like his drinks with ice so we sometimes ask for no ice or light ice, I requested for his drink this time with no ice, the lady at the cashier said no, they can't do that. I'm blown away that their not able to accommodate the request, it's a milktea!!! If your customer gets sore throat because of drinking cold, you can't accommodate that? I then asked for the manager, the lady had to speak to him in their foreign language in front of me before the manager can address my complaint. The manager then said I'm sorry, we can't serve the milktea without ice, I asked for an explanation and he said it's the corporate rule and everything is measured. Do you really count each ice cubes that goes into the milktea??? And, why a dumb inconsiderate corporate rule for people that can't handle cold drinks. Also, this time I had asked all the yummy flavors they've been posting on social media and they do not have it again, they said they have been out of it for awhile now. Then don't post it if you can't serve them to your customers. I think you're only trying to get the customer to come at your location to only find out they only have 2 flavors to choose from. Just bad experience with customer service overall and their milktea is not that great to drive 10-15 mins for. KungFu milktea has better customer service and milktea. read more

First of all, I expected more for tiger sugar boba,,,, It's not that sweet and the sugar tastes burnt not even caramelized. The best brown sugar milk ever! There is always a line outside, but the wait is never more than 5 minutes long after ordering. We always order the same drink (the No.1), but everything is good. We went almost everyday for awhile, but have slowed down during this lockdown. Can't wait until we can get out again. read more

I've seen this place everywhere on my social media whether it's TikTok or Instagram, so the hype is real!Although, I personally wasn't pleased with Tiger Sugar. Maybe its because I prefer actual milk tea with my boba instead of milk, but I still wanted to see what all the hype was about & to try something different. The drink itself was okay, it just tasted like regular milk & boba to me. The cup wasn't considered big either, and for one drink my total came out to $7-$8 which is unreasonable in my opinion. Even though I wouldn't prefer or recommend this, I could confidently say that our service was great and my order came out quick which was a plus. I guess it just depends on what you prefer when it comes to boba - whether you like boba for the actual tapioca (which may be the factor where you may enjoy Tiger Sugar) or the milk tea. read more
