We were in the mood for some boba after having dinner nearby on Friday night and found this place via a quick Yelp search. Upon arriving, we learned that this place is TINY and meant to be takeaway only. We weren't planning on staying anyways, however it was a very crowded indoor area to wait for our boba to be ready. Not a comfortable experience. Had it not been so cold out, we could've waited outside, but that wasn't an option in 30-degree weather. There's two different kiosks for ordering - one outside directly next to the front door and one more on the inside. The outside one had a line of people, but I noticed no one using the one inside so I went for it. Ya snooze, ya lose! You can also order directly at the counter, however I prefer to order on a kiosk whenever possible as I can ensure that all of my modifications are taken down (50% sugar, less ice is always my preferred choice). They had mine and my husband's favorite available to order: Mango Green Tea with mango jelly. When we got them, we also noticed that there were real mango pieces in it. That was nice! While the tea was good, it wasn't crazy-special. If I happened to be in the area again and wanted some boba, I might stop in here. Absolutely delicious brown sugar milk tea. I always make sure to make a stop whenever I'm in the area shopping or eating. Can't say how any of the other drinks are as I'm faithful to the same drink but that drink alone is good enough to have a repeat customer. There is a tablet where you can place your own order. They are quick to prepare drinks and one of the things that stands out for me is that the boba comes out warm and slightly chewy which makes the drink even more delicious. Coming from someone who has tried them all, this is the best spot in ktown for boba milk and fruit teas. They have some of the freshest boba pearls you can get anywhere, and all of their tea is brewed fresh and strong. I like their location in Chinatown, and was very pleased to find that this one is just as good. When I went with my sibling, we both got fruit teas with sour mango jelly and boba pearls. Mine was had green tea, oolong, and passion fruit, and theirs had green tea and mango. Both teas were so refreshing and sweet, and the goodies at the bottom had the perfect texture. The pearls are so soft and fresh, and the mango jelly had a nice snappy texture. There were also crunchy passion fruit seeds in there too. This location has two kiosks that take card/Apple Pay, and you can pay with cash at the counter. There's a bench and window sill where you can sit while you wait, but generally people tend to grab and go. Good boba and tea taste. I got the custard topping which was incredibly hard to mix in and drink via straw due to the clumpy consistency. It still tasted good otherwise and was not overly sweet but wasnt a great topping. I expected something more mixable for a drink. Brown sugar boba milk tea: definitely on the creamier, decadent side and tastes like a dessert. It's good but at times a bit too sweet for my palate. The boba has consistently been soft/bouncy and very sweet -you can tell it's cooked in sugar. Passion fruit mango tea with boba: a nice departure from their signature decadent milk tea. It's sweet, light, and refreshing. The added boba does make it sweeter and a bit more syrupy, but not in a bad way. I'd prefer their matcha drink to be more strong. If you prefer creamy versions that have a subtle taste of matcha, this may be for you! It's a quick in and out place, no seating inside. Reasonably price of $6.50 for an average boba drink in Koreatown, Manhattan. Ice level and sugar level cannot be adjusted whatsoever, you can only do less ice. Even though sugar level can't be adjusted, it's actually not too sweet. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra if less ice doesn't mean 12 ice cubes. How does less ice actually equal to 12 ice cubes though?!? Less Ice should've been 4-5 cubes instead.
